Karefree Produce

Wonderful produce, but so much more. Casseroles, quiches, pies and other prepared food options give extra reasons to stop by. Of course their ice cream is always a favorite for the kids (young and old).

Great selection of fresh produce they have nice pumpkins out now and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Love Karefree Produce! I have been to Karefree a handful of times (just moved to NC) and have enjoyed every visit. They have very fresh produce at a great price along with seasonal pies in their cold case. Looking forward to going back when they have their pumpkin patch! Highly recommend!

Great selection! The produce, cheese, dips, and pork products are all great. I really enjoy the pepper bacon!

I love this place! The produce is delicious and very well priced, typically cheaper than grocery stores. And the owner is so friendly! I went in looking for a specific variety of green beans, when she didn’t have the kind I wanted, she called around to people she knew and connected me with a farmer who grew the kind I was looking for. How often does a owner put customer satisfaction above making a sale? I will definitely keep coming back!

I just had the best southwest tomato pie. I was nice enough to share 1/4 of it with my wife. Thanks to the the blessed hands that prepared this wonderful dish.

The ladies working here were so helpful, and the strawberry ice cream was the very best I have ever had!!! And they have pup cups for our fur babies!

Oh my gosh! Such a cute market. They had a really good selection of fruits/veggies/baked goods. The staff were so kind and helpful! I will definitely be back!

Great place. The atmosphere is very country and laid back which is particularly appealing to me. Very wide variety of vegetables. I went in search of strawberries, knowing that the strawberries were probably finished for the season, which was the case. Karefree did have beautiful, large, very tasty blueberries which I will be purchasing. I hadn't settled on a blueberry preserve recipe so will be going back in a few days when I know quantity I need. Very friendly and helpful. Karen was assembling tomato pies when I was there. In all likelihood this will be my "go to" place for berries and vegetables now that I have discovered Karefree Produce.

On the recommendation of a coworker I tried the tomato pie. I was very skeptical as I’m not greatly fond of tomatoes but I’m so glad I tried it. It was awesome. A cross between a quick minus the eggs and a margherita pizza. Definite will be buying again !

This is by far the best produce place I have been to. The prices are right and the people are very friendly. The food is fresh and the baked goods are exactly what you wish you had the time to make yourself. It feels like home every time I pull into the parking lot.

Good old fashioned farm grown fruits and vegetables.
Staff is helpful and so nice. Everything from old style candies, preserves, veggies and frout. As nd lets not forget the pies.

Go visit. You won't be disappointed.

Delicious chocolate chess pie & pecan pie (the only pies I've eaten there), great selection of fruits & vegetables, reasonably good prices on hanging ferns & hanging flower baskets, and very friendly, helpful Staff along with an awesome Owner, Karen.... ALWAYS Professional and pleasant.

My family went strawberry picking this morning at Karefree Farms. The staff was friendly and helpful and the strawberries are divine!

There are so many yummy things here! From fresh veggies to the yummy dinners and side dishes and homemade ice cream!!
