Villaggio Ristorante & Bar

The Chicken Plicata was excellent and so was the Veal. See pictures. The Lasagna was meaty but a little bland. Service was top notch and the atmosphere was formal but you did not have to dress up.

So many good things to say about this place. Is it pricey? Yes. Is it 100% worth it because of the exquisite food and impeccable service? Yes. Chairs are fluffy and comfortable! Restaurant is small but doesn’t feel too cramped. Decor is nice and stayed true to the vibe of the old Inn. Food was superb. You can tell the chef loves what he/she does. Food came out in a very timely manner and received bread to snack on while waiting. Staff could not have been more professional yet welcoming and friendly- and they weren’t fake about it either, all workers looked like they enjoyed what they were doing, which you love to see. Portions were of great size. An all around amazing experience!

My daughter and I enjoyed this place so much that we came twice over our recent mother/daughter weekend! The special cocktail was the “Red Velvet” and it was easily our favorite drink of the weekend! Make a reservation for dinner or snag a seat at the bar. We recommend both options!

Amazing experience!
Order the Duck!  The flavors are so complex and layered, you'll want to savor every bite. So rare to find duck done so well.
We ordered the Parmigina Pollo with the Gluten free optional Noodle. These GF noodles were excellent. I would almost recommend over the house made noodles. ...Almost!
We tried the house made noodles as an Alfredo side. They were perfect.
The chocolate mousse was light and delicate, and the house made ice cream was brilliant!
Service was flawless. Very enjoyable experience.

We wanted to reserve the restaurant for my GFs birthday but they were packed. So we stopped in and were able to sit at the bar and ended up with a WONDERFUL time. Our server Sarah was amazing and on point. The food was great, service exceptional, and atmosphere incredible. We so enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend it. We already have reservations for a valentines dinner!!!

Took my wife for her birthday today and we had a great time! The grouper was amazing and my wife enjoyed her lasagna. Gary our server was very attentive and friendly. Hope to come back soon.

Very much enjoyed our experience on a fall Friday evening! Lasagna, salad, bread were all wonderful. Great ambiance, filled with history and very comfortable setting. Also perfectly placed within the town of Pinehurst.

A hidden gem of Pinehurst.

After spending many years in this area, i was unaware of this restaurant, located on the base level of the Magnolia hotel. Perhaps one of the better date-atmospheres in the Moore county area. Very intimate, inviting (despite its somewhat hidden location lol) and a charming setting. I found our service to be very accommodating and personable. Dinner was presented in a beautiful manor and our party was very much pleased. 👍🏼

I would absolutely recommend for romantic occasions, business purposes.

We have celebrated our anniversary here 2 years in a row now, and it is always magical. We received a signed card as a thank you from all the staff and it was just so touching. They have INCREDIBLE pasta and a stellar wine selection!

My wife and I had supper at Villaggio on 11/9/23, our anniversary. The service was excellent ("Alex", our server) and the food superbly prepared (Bronzino and veal Scallopini). We had cocktails, which were first-rate, and the Whispering Angels rose wine. The only complaint is the noise level, which can become annoying with loud patrons. We thought the food and service were the best in Pinehurst, and we will return for another evening.

It was our first time dining at Villaggio's as we had heard great things and we were not disappointed! In fact, we loved it so much that we booked another reservation the very next night! Everything was phenomenal! My daughter said the chicken parm is the best she has ever had! Buon appetito!

Absolutely delightful! Service & cuisine were outstanding! Highly recommend the grilled calamari to start, perfectly reminiscent of a favorite dish from my childhood in Sicily; the duck was supreme and the short rib ravioli was amazing.
By far one of the most creative restaurants and delicious meals in the Pinehurst area.
Our server, John, was not only professional & knowledgeable, he was charming as well!
Kudos to the new owners for their creativity, and best wishes as they continue on their new adventure to make this once old Pinehurst landmark new and exciting!

Amazing dinner! We had reservations, but ended up having to wait. The owner personally apologized and gave us our drinks and a nice bottle of champagne. The lasagna was to die for, as was everything else.

My husband and I love to come here, especially in the cold, dark winter. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Music is great. Service is 5 star. Pasta is fresh made. It is Not Inexpensive! This is not Olive Garden. The bartender makes a great Grey Goose martini! Chicken Piccata is very good. We loved the grilled Calamari appetizer.

Had an amazing dinner served by an incredible wait staff. The attention to detail and food was top notch. Ron the owner was nice enough to stop and say hello and Kelli was tremendous.

A quaint cozy place downtown Pinehurst enjoying a really wonderful Italian meal with my lovely wife it's a great place to celebrate your anniversary , birthday or just hang out in downtown Pinehurst and enjoy the atmosphere.

Best Italian food in Moore county! I had never heard about it until tonight. My wife and I loved it! Hand made pasta, which was outstanding. But the best thing was the service. From start to finish, every employee there made us feel like royalty! For example, It was pouring rain and one of the staff walked us to our car with an umbrella. Highly recommend!

Cannot say enough good things about our visit to the Villaggio. My wife and I had a wonderful date night where we experienced amazing service from the delightful staff, absolutely divine food, and a wonderful ambiance from the quaint little design. Worth every penny you will spend!

Had the most incredible meal at Villaggio tonight. From the house made bread, appetizer, house made pasta, and chicken parmigiana, it was all delicious. The experience of dining there was enhanced by the excellent service and prompt attention to every detail by our team of wait staff.
