We enjoyed the many options of both brunch and lunch today. My husband had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, which he said was delicious. My parents had the French toast and Belgium waffle, and I had the huevos rancheros.
All of it was really good.
We also shared the seasonal fruit plate with granola and yogurt as an appetizer which was delicious as well!

Had lunch there today. Omelette with potatoes and delicious fresh baked bread. Probably the best omelette I’ve ever had. My friend ordered the chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries. It so so generous with the chicken salad AND the fries that couldn’t finish. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable. Have already planned a trip back. Yes u will love this place!

Phenomenal service and delicious food. Really enjoyed the Fried Green Tomatoes and Giant Cinnamon roll! They have some amazing hot chicken and the Birdies Hot Mess was super filling.

This place never fails to impress us! The food is always delicious, service is always fantastic, and it always leaves you with that hometown atmosphere. Prices are more than fair for the amount of food that you get. You definitely will not leave hungry! My only struggle when we eat here (and that's frequently) is trying to decide what to get. With so many fantastic dishes on the menu and must try specials every week it makes the decision tough! The drinks are even to die for! Mason's is definitely one of our regular spots!

We've been here a handful of times since moving here, and it never disappoints. The service and food are phenomenal. We've always come here for breakfast during the weekday, so there really isn't any wait. The kids' menu is also pretty good.

We had a party of 6. They immediately greeted us with warm smiles as we walked through the door and combined tables for our group. The waitress was super attentive the entire time. When drinks were almost empty, she was onto the refills. She checked in plenty to make sure we were doing good. I ordered the brioche French toast with a side of bacon and breakfast potatoes. It was all delicious, no complaints! Will definitely come here whenever I’m in the area.

My family and friends were in the area visiting and stopped by to get some good breakfast before starting our day.

The food was amazing!
The toast was fluffy-airy- and just melted in my mouth. This was the best toast that we had ever ate.
Potatoes were crispy- not oily- and tasted super freshly cooked.
Pancakes are amazingly delicious and huge!
The blueberries & strawberries were big, juicy sweet, and delicious.

Ms. Joy (I believe was her name- elder lady helping us) - she was extremely sweet, attentive & friendly.

Didn't see if there was a kids menu available.

We loved the atmosphere, modern look and super nice staff.
The bathrooms are located in the back of building- which you cross the kitchen- the kitchen was super clean, organized and staff was working together.

We found Mason’s Restaurant & Grocery in Aberdeen and we are so glad that we did. What a great spot. Breakfast was terrific and now our new go to place! There was a 20 min wait, always a good sign, and they called us on the cell when our table was ready. Tina was our server and she was terrific. She pointed out the most popular dishes, The Train Wreck, The Truck Stop, and conveyed the specials for the day. We had an excellent meal. The food was seasoned, the chicken was tender, the bacon smoked and flavorful, and the Harissa pork special was nice and spicy. It was quite the treat seeing Brian Hainley there having breakfast too. Tables were turned quickly and professionally, and did not interfere with our meal and conversation. The menu is easy to navigate, with breakfast and lunch items available all day. The drink menu/bar offerings were plentiful with daily specials. The place is popular for a reason and we will be back.

Food and sweet tea were phenomenal! I'm still thinking about that sausage gravy - so, so good. My server was attentive and very kind. It's a smaller place and was crowded when I went, so it was a bit loud, but no complaints otherwise.

Food is always great, servers are always so lovely and accommodating! My whole family loves to have breakfast/brunch here! Mrs. Joy is an absolutely amazing server and is so kind.

Masons was a lovely experience. There were five of us. We sat at the bar, as they were busy and could not seat us at a table. The bartender was a pleasure. Food and drinks were exceptional. Very fresh and flavorful. Would definitely recommend, but expect it to be busy. Places with this quality tend to be. Will definitely return when I’m in Aberdeen again.

First time of many more to come! We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table for 2 but well worth the wait. Bloody, well look at it! My Birdies Hot Mess was so tasty and biscuit was delicious. Wife had Fried Green Tomato BLT and fries and couldn’t finish it because it was humongous. Only critique would be the fries were soggy but still tasty. Definitely going back again.

First time and it was outstanding. Would highly recommend if local or visiting.

I went there with my mom for lunch. It was packed but we were still seated inside of 10 minutes. Our hostess was super friendly and quick, our food was on the table in only 12 minutes. Mom and I both got their Mason Burger that is made from freshly ground right there inside, the fries we also fresh made and it was all at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be coming back.

We go here at least once a week, food is always amazing, they have new specials often and fun drinks!
The staff are so fun and accommodating! If your a family of small kids or special needs kids this is your place… but also a great place for all walks of life😎

Listen. I rarely leave reviews, and most of the time they aren’t raving. As I sit here in the ambiance of downtown Aberdeen soaking in the most perfect atmosphere. The music is just right, the sounds of the kitchen, the smell of freshly brewed coffee and delicious entrees fill the air. I don’t even like cinnamon rolls but they have cracked the code, perfected the recipe that will now be a weekly staple for me (assuming I can wait a week to indulge in one of the greatest if not the greatest breakfast pastry I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing). The coffee is smooth and bold, rich in flavor and served fresh and hot. To compliment the atmosphere they have mason jars and milk bottles serving the fizzy goodness- diet dr.pepper on tap because they are fancy. Smiling staff, personable management (shoutout to Katie for being beyond wonderful) and clean. The tables and floors even while busy are CLEAN, spotless and the staff is wonderful. Get the country fried steak, no need for a knife as it’s so tender a gentle swoop of your fork will bring you to country steak nirvana. Complimenting that nirvana is the breakfast potatoes, eggs and biscuits. Don’t debate, order the chicken and waffles, feeling like you need a little kick, do the Nashville hot rub on one, pair it with honey and you’ll forget the Lord’s chicken at CFA and realize the real Lord’s chicken is housed here at Mason’s. If you’ve made it this far without jumping in the car and going then you must enjoy creative writing. Don’t worry there will be more as this will be my regular escaping the toddler madness date spot. I will write a review again but for now friends go treat yourself. Thank me later.

One of our favorite spots to venture out to on a weekday morning. Wonderful staff and best menu in town for breakfast. Favorites: huevos rancheros, the train wreck, pancakes, grits, their biscuits, and fresh orange juice!

One of my favorite picks! Quaint atmosphere, friendly wait staff, great tasting food & creative drinks. My favorite is Birdie’s Hot Mess with no ham or sausage gravy with a biscuit. The sweet iced tea is just right! Not too sweet. The only thing missing is a larger dining area to accommodate the crowd at times!

Fun, clean, delicious food, fantastic staff. We attended a private party. This is a fantastic venue for events. They took care of our every need. I had the smash burger, it was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to return for a yummy lunch/dinner.

Heard good things about this recently opened restaurant and tried it this morning. WHAT A GREAT PLACE! Lots of things to mention. Waitresses were fantastic. Friendly and attentive. My coffee cup never made it to half full before it was refilled. Decor is very nice - bright, open and clean. Then there is the food! Super large portions, perfectly prepared and tasty. If you go there for breakfast you don't have to eat lunch. Finally, we met the owners - very nice young couple. This is a family-owned restaurant and the couple deserves community support. Go there.
