Lake Norman Mercantile & Creamery (Queen City Trading Co.)

I love going to Lake Norman Mercantile & Creamery to see what new goodies they have to offer. Also love their ice cream options. Always some new, different, & delicious. They let you try all the different flavors before you make your final choice. My favorite was the Dark Chocolate Cayenne ice cream they had last year. They made sure to warn me that it would be spicy which I appreciated. It was the best ice cream flavor I've ever tasted! Also Kristen has the brightest personality and very helpful without being pushy!!

Drove over 40 mins to see this place! I had been following the journey these owners took, and couldn't wait to see their shop in person! It was well worth the drive y'all. The ice cream is delicious, the boutique is ADORABLE, and the owners are so kind. Stop in!!

Beautiful boutique in the Lake Norman area and much needed! From jewelry, to clothing, to candles, artwork, etc. There is even a yummy ice cream shop attached inside! Staff is very friendly and helpful! You will be sure to find a treasure there! Highly recommend!

My wife & I had the pleasure of meeting owners Kristen "KJ" & Patrick at their new location called Mercantile in Denver, NC on 09/03/22. They were so friendly and helpful. We found a beautiful, framed US Flag; & they were kind enough to give us a military discount, as I am former USAF. Their store Mercantile is so cute and stocked with wonderful, fresh items for home and boutique clothes for ladies. Denver, NC has needed a store like this forever. Well done Kristen and Patrick!

Such a charming boutique and wonderful owners with a beautiful testimony. Very thankful they decided to choose Denver for their business. Great choices of decor items and clothing. I’ve purchased faux tapered candle sticks, a couple lanterns and clothing.

I wanted to buy so much so I could transfer the peaceful and beautiful home decor to my own house. I really appreciate that this store is actually a house because I can walk into each room and it gave me so much inspiration.

The women’s clothing is beautifully spot on and super comfortable. They carry women’s clothing from xs all the way to 3x. I’m plus size and usually can’t fit anything in boutique stores usually, but love that I can actually shop here!

I’m going to bring my husband next time because he’s going to LOVE the woodworking area where Patrick actively creates pieces for customer orders…. So cool to watch!!

This is such a welcome addition to the area, and I’m looking forward to many visits in the future!!!!

The cutest little shop with the nicest Owners and the best ice cream! I shop here for all my decor and gift needs and Kristin and Patrick are always so friendly and so helpful. Highly recommend you run, don’t walk, to the best shop to come to Denver!

If you haven’t shopped here yet whether online or in-store, you are missing out on WAY too many things. First, the incredible customer service and Christ-radiating personalities that you are welcomed with when you walk in the store. Kristin and Patrick are such kind people who want to make Denver a fun place. They have more future plans for this shop than just clothing and decor, such as leading date night activities in the kitchen and making the outdoor shaded area a place where you can come chill and hang out with friends. Second, you’re missing out on the most adorable clothes and home decor that Kristin and her team have picked out to share with us. I love her style and even though some of the things can seem a little pricey, they are excellent quality and you’re helping support local vendors. I love that her goal is to sell beautiful clothing for ladies of all sizes, including larger sizes & to help all women feel confident in themselves. Lastly, Kristin regularly posts on her FB page some really good deals and fun grab bag deals. I just ordered a grab bag myself and can’t wait to see what’s inside it! I 1000% recommend shopping here, and if you haven’t already, you’re missing out on such a fun experience. :)

Owner is so amazing because she is friendly and giving. Gave my little girls Ice cream every when it was closed for renovations. The decore is gorgeous.

Best ice cream in the area. I traveled a good distance to try this ice cream I kept hearing about from others and they weren’t lying! This place has the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I learned from the owners that this is small batch, artisan ice cream. It’s not made in bulk like store bought brands. Each batch is made with real ingredients and mixed a certain way to eliminate all the air that your store bought ice cream brands put in theirs to make it seem like a bigger amount. You have a customer for life with me!

Best boutique and ice cream around!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality items and artisan ice cream. The atmosphere is beyond warm and inviting and the owners are amazing! They truly care about each customer and gets to know them personally.

Oh my gosh! I am so excited to have such a charming store open right here in Denver!!! It is a home decor and women’s clothing boutique. I fell in love with all the decor and clothing for sale. The owner is so very nice as well. It is the perfect place to go for seasonal decor and clothing or gift/hostess gift!

Denver scored big time!!! I have been shopping with this amazing company for years and they never disappoint! NOW, they have their own adorable shop in my hometown! Literally amazing and you will fall in love with the owners as well!
