Carolina Pine Inn

My family of 5 stayed for 4 nights. The lobby is fully remodeled. The 1st floor hallway we stayed on was remodeled and painted. Our room was remodeled, clean, and sheets were very clean. When you walk into the hotel it smells of cleaning products like someone had just cleaned the floor. Not a bad smell, for me it was reassuring that the staff has been cleaning, and it's evident in the rooms, dinning area, lobby, and public bathroom. There was a hot breakfast every morning. They had scrambled eggs, potatoes, bagels, fruit, oatmeal, orange juice, muffins, and basic condiments. They now have a bar that opened up in the dinning area. In the lobby there was hot coffee. The hotel was fairly priced and situated in a quiet area of Pinebluff. Staff were all very nice and helpful.

A very nice stay! This felt like a little hotel in a hallmark movie. The area was safe. Very dog friendly. We walked our dogs and there was plenty of space. The hotel room fairly decent for a 2-star, somewhat updated - The TVs worked. Like another review was that the only con was the breakfast, but it did not hurt us that badly. Overall, I would stay there again!

I travel for work, so stay at plenty of the chain hotels. This place is the epitome of a small, locally owned boutique hotel, clean, accommodating and an all around great value.
The grounds are picturesque, they have a bar and serve great food.

Carolina Pine Inn is truly a hidden gem. We were in the area for work and staying at a chain hotels in Rockingham when we heard about this hotel. We checked it out and promptly relocated all our workers. This hotel is having some renovations done to expand the comfort, capacity, and services for their guests, so please be patient as it is making this establishment better. The owners, Mike and Sunny, are truly devoted to customer service and go above and beyond for their guests.
During our multiple week stay, they went as far as fixing a buffet style breakfast every morning thru the week. The housekeeping staff was top notch in keeping a clean facility as well as the rooms. The in-house bar & grill was open about every evening when we got in, providing cold beer and mixed drinks, as well as tasty snacks.
Local shopping and dining is a short drive in either direction. So you are away from the hustle of city life yet close enough to be convenient should the want or need arise. They have plenty of parking and are pet friendly, with plenty of nice yard space if you bring the fur babies and they need to go for a walk.
My suggestion is to program this location into your GPS as the entrance off Rt 1 is a little hard to see when traveling the speed limit. This is my go-to lodging in the area from now on. The photos in Google maps are fairly accurate so I didn't add any. And they also have a pool, horseshoe pit, cornhole boards, as well as a volleyball court and 2 gazebos in the back.

Nice place for a quiet weekend get away. Staff is attentive and friendly. If you plan to eat breakfast there, go fairly early cause the food does run out especially if there's a crowd.

This place goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. Super clean and all staff are helpful and kind. Home away from home, love this place.

We stay here every time we come to the area! Hospitable staff, quiet location, never had a bad experience.

Spent a quick weekend away for a wedding. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We happened to stay the weekend they did a soft opening for their bar and it was nice! The room was large and the bed was soft. Check in and check out were super quick and easy. It was about a 20 minute drive from Southern Pines and Pinehurst, so it was a good place to stay and not be very expensive. I would definitely stay there again if I'm ever in the area!

Found this place by chance. The staff was super friendly. The rooms were clean. The showers had amazing pressure. Definitely recommend. I have paid alot more of alot less. Only negative I have was the coffee. 9.99 out of 10 overall.

My family was a bit apprehensive at first since it was a 2 star hotel , however it was such a great room and great value. They made our bed each day and replaced our towels. Our ac wasn’t working and they fixed it promptly and provided a fan in the mean time. Friendly staff. I would stay here again!

I have stayed here twice. Clean, comfy firm bed (not too firm), pet friendly, spacious rooms, good hot showers with perfect water flow! Great price, friendly staff. Sure it needs updates as other reviews have stated, but who cares? The price is right and I'm sure the new owners will update it when they can. I will stay again. **Update** improvements have been made! 👍👍

Could not have asked for a better place to stay. Mike and Sonny and beyond awesome. Despite the kitchen and bar only being open on the weekends...the quality, quantity and prices make up for it. The location is a short ride out from Southern Pines and Pinehurst, but I found it to be perfect to be out of the business of the town. Not only do I recommend CPI, but I will be going back!

This place is a real gem, and we were pleasantly surprised. Nicely located but off the road, so it is quiet yet close to town. The lobby is elegantly decorated, and the efficient staff was quite friendly! We got a comfortable and CLEAN room for a great price! We will definitely stay here again when we travel to this area!

Found this place completely by chance. Room was very inexpensive, and ended up being much nicer than some of the other hotels I've stayed at. Room was very big and clean. The young girl who worked at night that checked us in was extremely friendly and polite. Definitely look forward to staying here again.

I just can't say enough nice things about this hotel and the people who work there...Over the last several months I have had reason to be in town from out of state for my elderly mother's health problems and surgeries. They were so kind and compassionate to me during a very hard time and made me feel very welcome and at home. Besides all that, the hotel is very clean, quiet and comfortable and the rooms are being newly redone. They have also reopened their restaurant and bar and the food and service were excellent. Their swimming pool is nice and big and very clean as well. I will never stay anywhere else when I'm in the area unless they don't have a room available

We were here for two nights. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and more than reasonable for the price. We plan on staying again when we return to this area.

This is SUCH a great place to stay in the area! Sunny, Mike and the whole staff made this a wonderful experience for us. We came up to NC for a wedding and had 100 things to worry about for the upcoming event. Sunny made our stay one less thing to worry about. She was attentive, sweet, so accommodating. They also have been upgrading rooms which look wonderful! Lobby was so charming, pool was open late, restaurant just opened so every meal being conveniently close was a huge plus too. Thanks for everything!

Beautiful setting and grounds! Building is older but immaculate and room/bathroom was super clean. I travel a lot and this was the most welcoming staff overall I've seen in the last few years. Nadia at the front desk was especially helpful. Breakfast was the usual post covid grab and go with more selections than most. Would highly recommend!

I really needed a getaway and I know my late son led me here. This is a Diamond of an Inn. The new owners have worked very hard to make this Inn a beautiful place. I feel like family. My room is fit for a Queen... Property is clean with a great pool. Very quiet and so Safe. I'll be coming back just for some me time... Thanks
