Arbuckle Mountain Fried Pies

Fried pies on I 35 exit 51. So good and.so many to choose from. I always stop for a snack. All of these are great or you can get frozen ones for later. The hot pies like egg and cheese etc are made to order so they are hot. All good and an inside eating sitting area if you prefer to sit and enjoy.

The Fried Pies are chef's kiss! This was my first time going and I came out with 12 pies. Disclaimer: it's cheaper if you buy more. They have so many flavors, it's hard to choose and you end up wanting to try them all... that's exactly what I did lol.
The savory pies are made on demand so they are always fresh.
ALL flavors are good.

I have been coming here for many years; the best fried pies this side of heaven. They make breakfast pies and sweet pies. There is plenty of parking. The seating area and restrooms were clean. If you get a chance, swing by and take a pie to go!

Found this place a decade ago when I was last in the area. Made a point to stop by this time. Even took home a dozen frozen pies for my family and friends who also raved about them. They also sell fuel, so was able to top off both mine and the Jeep's tank.

We had apple, coconut, cherry, chocolate,strawberry and broccoli chicken! So yummy, the crust is so buttery, almost like a donut. Definitely is comfort food!

Sweet or Savory! How about both! Amazing fried pies that were a great way to fill the stomach after hiking around Turner Falls. Whether you're hiking or just driving on 35, I highly recommend stopping for some amazing flavors. I tried the peach sweet pie and loved it. For my savory selection, I picked the Texmex, which had the right amount of spice for anyone to enjoy. Staff are all friendly and love what they do. Never heard of fried pies, these are to die for. You will definitely want to purchase more than one. So many flavors and the people helping us were very knowledgeable about their pies. Highly recommend. I had the coconut one.

Staff is SOO sweet , pies are delicious! Both sweet and savory! The lady that attended me was so kind. I accidentally ordered a pie I didn’t mean too and she replaced it for the one I had actually wanted. 🤍

A mandatory stop in Oklahoma! These delicious hand-made pies are all excellent. From hearty meal pies to sweet fillings, they have a wide selection. You can even fill up the gas tank too. The interior is spacious with a place to make your order and a large dinning area, there is room for everyone. There is even a loft area with a view of a life-size sasquatch and other decor. You can get your picture taken with the 8' tall beast, or in a hole in a custom Fried Pies sign out front next to the swings (handy for getting some energy out of the kiddos). We stop here every time we come to visit. It's just not an official visit until we do!

During the drive to our cabin at Turner Falls we saw a sign for "Fried Pies". Since being from the midwest we had no idea what it was. On our way back to Texas we made the great choice to stop. From street view it looks like a large gas station convenient store, but don't be fooled. The inside gives off a rustic bakery vibe. You are able to see the kitchen and how the pies are made. There is a large area to sit down and eat the delicious southern treats. There is a life size Sasquatch figure inside which makes a good picture for fellow tourists. Staff were very friendly. Overall a great treat for someone who hasn't had or doesn't know what a fried pie is.

Stopped in on seeing the sign while driving by. The peach fried pies were terrific; very, very good. The young man who took my order was attentive and friendly. Can't speak to anything else, as I bought the two pies and left (I was driving from Texas to Wisconsin).

I have to admit. I was a little apprehensive about trying a fried pie. My first thought was it would be to sweet and I would be able to taste the oil it was cooked in. Boy was I wrong on both counts. These pies are freaking amazing. Freaking Epic. If you ever have the opportunity to try it, I promise you will not regret it. If they were closer, I would drive to get one now:) Unfortunately they are 2 hours away:)

Best fried pies ever! Multiple locations and a wide variety of flavors! Fast and friendly service. Not just fruit flavors but also pizza filling!

Did you know that you can request a hot, fresh pie be made for you? They take about 10-15 minutes, but man oh man is it worth it.

Great deals on frozen pies and dozen discounts too. We always make sure to ask everyone back home who needs some when we stop in. Headed home with two dozen this time!

Best fried pies I’ve tried! We tasted lemon, sausage-egg-cheese, and the seasonal pumpkin and apple-raisin-pecan. All really good. My husband thinks there could have been a touch less salt in the crust.

Good place to stop on a road trip, including with kids. Swings in front, space to stretch your legs, and signs to take photos with.

Great quick stop on our way to SGF from DFW. Delicious pies with so many flavors.
Service was quick and friendly for as busy as they were.

I noticed the “Fried Pie” sign from the Highway several times passing through over the years on various vacations. Curiosity finally got me to stop in and see what these Pies are all about. Wow, what a selection from Sweet to Savory they’ve got you covered. Pizza stuffed, Polish Potato with Sausage, so many choices. Each pie is made to order, fresh. You wait 10-minutes for a piping hot beautifully browned mini half pie. It’s about the size or a calzone — great value for the money spent. We tried Chicken Veggie, Chicken Broccoli, Spinach, and Bacon-Egg-Cheese. I wish I would have tried the sweet pies, but I guess I have a reason for o stop back in on the way back to Kansas City. I need to mention they are a bit messy. They are served in a paper bag, but a paper plate with a fork might be nicer. Ours were soft in the center because of the generous amount of filling. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend and will go back.

Stopped here while exploring the local area and was intrigued by the sign. Found an amazing selection of delicious pies that resemble those Hostess fruit pies but these are much larger and SO MUCH better. I highly recommend the seasonal Apple-Raisin-Pecan one. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to come back again.

Minnie is amazing! Good luck with your retirement plans! But seriously, they have some delicious fried pies! I recommend getting a pumpkin fried pie during the season while they last. Peach of course is a hit for me as well. And my son love their pepperoni pizza fried pie! 😋

While planning our road trip across the southern US, came across a YouTube video of this place. We stopped and tried several of their savory and fruit and cream type fried pies. They were delicious.

Spoke to the lady at the register while waiting for the savory pies were cooking who appreciate our business and took the time to tell us about the business.

We bought a number of the fruit type pies and they remained fresh and delicious for several days. If we go back to this area in the future, this will be a must stop again for us.
