Cone Health Reidsville Primary Care

As a new patient i was impressed by the Courteous staff and the Newly remodeled building.
Both nurse Ashley and Dr. Gray were Courteous and seemed to be sincere about my health. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a good doctor.
As far as the front staff, they also were very professional and courteous.

Dr Nelson was great with my brother. She listened to all his problems and addressed them. She was very sensitive to all his needs and prescribed meds to help him. I recommed her to anyone.

I have had an excellent experience with them.
I will continue to use them a my primary care.

Nothing but good things. And trust me. I needed to see a Dr at the time. Very nice and friendly.

I go there and i am truly satified. I love DR NELSON..

The doctors here are denying a refill on my asthma medication unless I come in and give them more money for a "check up". I've had asthma for 38 years, I don't need a check up. All they care about is your money. Oh and they will charge you 35 dollars to tell you to stop smoking if you're a smoker. Go somewhere else.

**Edit, I called to give them the benefit of the doubt. They still require an appointment/checkup/$$ same as before. You're a customer to them, not a patient.

First experience with them. My husband and I both have back to back appointments.

First they tell my husband that some mysterious stranger called and left a message to cancel his appointment. Really? Just admit your office made an error.

Next. After having scheduled my appointment for a physical, I had become sick. My husband advised them I was in the car w cough and cold symptoms and asked what their procedures were due to the pandemic. They say I have to reschedule. What!

Apparently, they don't treat sick people because they may have COVID. BUT they don't test for COVID. So just go away. That's the policy.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone. I was not even given a chance to be a patient because I was 10 minutes late to my first appointment, and apparently that is against their policy. Keep in mind that they had already rescheduled my appointment because Dr. Nelson had an emergency the day of my initial appointment, & I was not rescheduled for another 2 weeks. also, I had told the receptionist I had went to the wrong building, but she head to reschedule me anyway because of my lateness so she did. 3 hours later, another employee from the appointment department called me to tell me that I could not be seen by anyone at Reidsville Primary Care because I was late to my first appointment, and that is against their policy, and the receptionist had made a mistake rescheduling me again. I have serious medical issues that need to be addressed, but they did not care at all. these people should not have gone into the medical profession because they certainly do not care about the well being of others.

I am a patient there and the staff is rude and disrespectful. I was kept on hold for 8 minutes in which no one came back to the phone. I hung up and called right back only to be put on hold again. I have never seen a doctor where you can’t get worked in.......EVER! I had to hang up and call back and was put on hold again to be told Dr. Nelson didn’t have any availability today and won’t have anything available until November. The few encounters I have had with Dr. Nelson was okay. She was very nice and listened but the people that work at that front desk sucks. Every single time I have called I have experienced the same thing. It’s no point in going to this place bc if something unexpectedly happens you won’t be worked in and have to spend money at an urgent care. What’s the point of having a primary physician if you can’t ever see them. They really need to check their staffs attitude because it’s terrible!! It is very unprofessional to keep someone on hold for that long and not come back and say something. I will be getting a new primary physician ASAP!

I called this Dr. office requesting to be a new patient. Right out of the shoot, the receptionist gave me a "LIST" of people they will not take. Basically, if you have any current health issues, they won't accept you as a new patient and they don't except the "poor mans" insurance either, which I do not have!!! The list went ON AND ON and she was well rehearsed at giving the "speech". As a human being, we ALL have health issues at one time or another, that's why YOU NEED A DR. This practice is like Luke 10:30, there are no Good Samaritans there. They suck!!!!! Thanks for giving me an IN YOUR FACE of what to expect from this practice, ABSOLUTLY NOTHING.

First of all my Doctor completely LIED about a medication she said was not approved by my health insurance and they said they were never contacted. Her name is Dr. Kawanta Durham, she is completely lied, not cool, more on her later. So on top of that the main problems have been the staff never knows what's going on, they have told me that prescriptions were handled... and then they are not. They take forever to get anything done with prescriptions even after you WENT to an appointment. The last time I was going to go I was going to ask for a physical script on real paper... because of how bad they are. I was snowed in so I couldn't get to a visit and so they would not fill my script for non narcotic medications.. They just don't care about their patients and seem to only care about making that easy Obamacare money and if you have something worse than just common colds I would stay away from this place. Not recommended for people who can't wait over 3 days for them to get your medications properly called into the pharmacy.. Just stay away from them in general. They also had a nurse name Lou-anne or something sounding like that who gave me tons of attitude when I was trying to get help for my nerve pains... neuralgia meds which are not narcotics and they were not compassionate I had not been in a while but I had no way of driving there in the snow but I could walk to the pharmacy.. but no they don't care.. I've been to doctors my whole life and by far this was the worst experience.

Worst place I've ever seen on communication you can never call there and talk to anyone and when you leave a message 98% of the time you never receive a phone call back
