Ms Shannon Bauserman is the very best dental assistant at the VA dental clinic. She truly cares and shows her genuine concern to ensure each veteran is completely receiving 5 star care. Ms Shannon always greets everyone with a smile, makes everyone feel safe and exhibits professional customer service at all times. She truly loves her job and more so loves serving all veterans. She is the best so please let her know this!!

While some things may not great at this VA facility, the physical therapy department is by far the best group that I've had the pleasure to work with. Everyone there is pleasant, they go above and beyond in the care of their patients. I've been in PT multiple times and had okay experiences, but this department outdid them all!

I have been blessed to have VA benefits since leaving at he service in 1990. I am thankful to be able to say that the Services received have greatly improved so much. The staff at the clinic in Athens Ga as well as the VA hospital in Augusta Ga are very professional, courteous and timely. I appreciate the Veterans administration being their for all who served. Don't believe bad reviews, I've been a disabled Vet since Oct 2003, and Augusta VA has always given me 5 star service. Anything negative about VA service comes from trouble, if any, comes from upper management.

This VA is NOT as bad as it may seem. Yes, parking is BAD. However, pick your days wisely you have appts. Or just arrive early eat breakfast to prevent being late to an appointment or group session.As far as the VA, They are changing working personnel out constantly. However, the staff at Pool therapy has been exceptional and make you feel very welcomed and TRULY care that you are getting the best care. The Mental health department is another great department. They have caring Drs and customer service reps that i TRUST in. They have the appropriate classes to help the Veteran where they need help the most. I struggle with ALOT and the exceptional DRs provided the tools i needed. Make sure you recognize your DRs, Nurses and customer service reps treatment teams by filling out a comment card. Your appreciation for them goes a long way by being recognized by their higher ups. They are shortly manned and some of them are NEVER recognized. So realize its just not about your rating increase. To also be respectful to your Nurses, Drs and customer service reps.

After 20 years of military medicine, I get treated like a real human being. Appointments are quick, the staff are patient and polite, and I really feel like someone cares about all aspects of my health. And they maintain this high standard despite being understaffed.

Best VA I've ever been to. People care and the Drs are awesome. Other veterans know about how good they are, so appointment's can be long to get, but it's well worth it. The Drs here have saved my life. Could never song high enough praises about this place.

Her advice and service with helping me get my diabetes under control was the best I receive since my diagnosis in 1998. She is GREAT! Smart, well educated, and friendly. Although this facility had many flaws, none overshadowed Nurse Chris' kindness and compassion given to my family. I wish I knew your full name; thank you for risking your safety to allow my family and me to see him once last time before he passed, even if it was through a screen. Thank you. I will never forget your compassion.

It's a pretty good hospital they have all the services that you need. They don't help with shoes unless you are service-connected I don't understand why, but there's a lot of things that you don't get here that you can get another facilities other VA hospitals. I was waiting for a ear appointment about ringing in my ears and waited for three months and then when I came back to see the doctor the doctor said I didn't need an appointment.

The Veterans Administration in Augusta, GA is an awesome place whereby my husband-a Disabled Veteran - has received the best of the best medical services from the staff, Doctors, Nurses, and all those who volunteer. Thank you all! Dr. Dana Sheppard

This was my first time coming and the Caucasian lady at the front was rude to me and my 4 year old. I think her name is Mrs. Blanchard. She told us that we had to leave. You could've at least been nice about it and spoke.

The VA hospital in Augusta treated my husband with honor and respect, and gave him the quality care and attention he deserved (Uptown & Downtown locations).

That VA is OK the problem that i have is the parking they should have it like the VA on 15th street you don't have to worry about parking they will do it for you all you have to do is drive in and give the person your social security number and they will do the rest

I had real bad carpal tunnel and was sent to Augusta. After the surgery my hand is awesome, doesn't fall asleep while gripping things.
