West was extremely helpful, knew everything about safes, literally everything as well as soultions to ensure there would be no concerns getting it into the house. Highly recommend stopping in to this place if you are thinking about a safe. They have all kinds, guns, jewelry, night stand safe, biometric as well as lights and dehumidifiers that can be installed or bought separately

Had a great experience buying my safe from Smart Safes. I spoke to the owner Matt as well as Tim on two different occasions while shopping and both were incredibly helpful. I was next door buying car parts and stopped in on a Friday afternoon when they were closed but Matt happened to be in his truck about to leave but opened the store just for me and answered my questions for at least 20 minutes. Tim was just as helpful and showed me around again a couple months later answering my questions for about an hour. I felt like I got a lot of safe for my money. The installer crew led by another Matt was very professional and fast. They took all kinds of precautions and mapped their path thru the porch and the house in advance and had no issue with the tight porch and narrow door whatsoever. I'm glad I could buy a USA made product from a locally owned business with such a good cast of characters. Don't buy online or from a big chain!

Ordered a safe from Liberty Safes & Smart Safes was their dealer. Smart Safes did an excellent job! Responded to emails quickly; texted the delivery window and called to verify - though we ended up moving it a day - and they were very courteous and helpful.

They texted en route, showed up when they said they would, had everything- including a dehumidifier I bought on site - and handled everything. True “white glove” service.

Matt is an veritable wellspring of “no BS” information! Especially on how to keep your barrels from rusting inside the safe!?!?

Tim at the store was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. It took me three months to decide on a safe and do my research! They never waive red on price or showed the least frustration. When I finally pulled the trigger on my Colonial 50, they saved me over $400 compared to if I would have purchased the exact same safe and accessories directly online from Liberty, OR if I would have bought it at Cabelas!

I had been looking for a safe for a while before I found Smart Safes in North Augusta. I knew I wanted a Liberty, but I wasn't sure which on I wanted or how big they actually were because it can be difficult to visualize sizes just from looking at dimensions on line. I found Smart Safes after a Google search and decided to go check them out. I was pleasantly surprised to see an actual showroom that was fully stocked with a full line of Liberty and Fort Knox safes of all sizes and price points. Their prices were good from all of the research I had done and they actually offered a delivery and installation. This was why I ultimately went with them since nobody else offers more than drop shipping. The crew that showed up included the owner of the store and the delivery was done quickly, correctly, and without damaging anything. I am pretty happy with my experience with this company. If you are in the market, check them out!

My wife bought me a biometric handgun vault for my birthday. She, unfortunately, bought it online from a big box retailer. Luckily, she got me a Liberty HDX-250! Even more unfortunately, the vault was damaged when it arrived.
I immediately called Liberty and left a detailed message. Steve, from Liberty called me back quickly, and after informing him about the problem, and reminding him about Smart Safes store near me, Steve contacted them on my behalf.
Half an hour later, when I walked into Smart Safes, Matt, the owner, greeted me BY NAME, and said he and Steve had worked everything out for me! Matt had a new replacement in my hands in minutes, without so much as a signature or a single piece of paper!

These guys are AWESOME! We just had a BEAUTIFUL Lincoln safe delivered and installed. Not a scratch put on it, and very careful with our new carpet. You sure don't get that sort of delivery service with the big box stores that sell safes.
