Cove Lake State Park

Gorgeous campground! They have full hookups and we had a great experience. We stayed right by the lake so we got to fish from the campsite. The view was absolutely gorgeous. The lake was extremely peaceful and everyone around was really nice. We didn't stay long since we were passing by but it's definitely a place to go back to and fully enjoy the hikes and activities.

Nice quiet spot to stop after driving a long distance. There was a little picnic area but we just sat and enjoyed the quiet

Our stop for the night at Cove Lake State Park in Tennessee was nice. It rained a lot after we pulled in and set up. We still got to walk a bit. Nice campground, could use some tree trimming though for taller RVs. But all in all a really nice stop. 😊

Brought a friend from CA. It was absolutely beautiful. Went to the observation deck at the end of the trail. Lovely day

Cove lake was a very nicr park. There is a long paved trail there that is perfect for a stroll or a short bike ride. They have a kayak ramp and campground as well. It was not too crowded when we went and the scenery is beautiful.

This park is very peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of stuff for the whole family. Fishing, camping, playground, tennis, volleyball and more are available here. I have some of the best photos and memories of this park. Definitely a hidden gem for a quick stop. Picnics and bird watching are my favorite things to do here. My daughter loves all of the activities and the playground.

Great walking trails but if it has rained recently parts of trails may be covered in water or mud. Lots of pavilions and picinic tables. Couple playgrounds and a great restaurant in park.

Nice playground with lots of shade trees and a good walking trail. We liked the story book trail.

Wow...what an awesome park. We were passing through and needed a quick stop for lunch for ourselves and our new pup. The picnic area was beautiful and there was lots of green space for the pup. I'll totally stop by again when passing through.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! big beautiful trees, quiet and serene. Tons of different types of birds. Got completely lost in all of the beautiful songs of nature around me. A much needed escape into the beautiful landscapes of Tennessee.

It's such a beautiful Park, I've been going to it since 1973, and I'm still in awe of this picturesque spill off from Norris lake! The Canadian Geese are one of it's many waterfowl specie's! The walking and biking trails are amazing! I've included a few pictures for your viewing pleasure!

Definitely one of my favorite parks, clean, safe. Over 700 acres of park land with a lake, walking trails, picnic tables, and restrooms. Outdoor activities, basketball, tennis, softball, flag football. Camp Grounds, near a great restaurant in the park located in Caryville Tennessee surrounded by mountains less than a mile off interstate.

What a lovely little state park! It made a perfect day trip for us. We enjoyed the paved walking trails, nicely mowed lawns and gorgeous trees. The lake is pretty and we enjoyed the observation deck to watch a blue heron and other birds. There are many picnic spots to choose from as well as nice picnic pavilions. I wish we lived closer to rent one for our friends and family to enjoy. We drove through the campground and it is nicely kept and the sites are good; we will keep it in mind for a future camping trip. We didn't check out the bath house though. For dinner we ate at Rickards BBQ which is at the entrance to the park and is good.

Beautiful park with multiple paved walking trails. The park also offers play equipment, volleyball nets, tennis courts and places to sit and have a meal together. The scenery is gorgeous with the lake right near the walking path.

Lakeside path is nice.
Very enjoyingable place to chill out and to spend time with loved ones.

Cove Lake State Park is a beautiful park surrounded by mountains. There is a paved trail that takes you along the lake and swamp areas to view wildlife. Don't bypass the observation deck on the trail. There are plenty of picnic areas, a swimming pool, tennis courts, kayaking and fishing. The paved trail can also be used for biking. The campground appears to be packed is tightly but shaded.

This is a wonderful camping area. There are plenty of things to do if u don't want to just relax at camp...like boating, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, sight seeing, atving, walking, etc. The rv spots are nice with a picnic table and firepit. And each set isn't far from the shower/bathroom.

Even on a gloomy, cloudy day this park was beautiful! Side note: the bathroom even has heat in it! Great hiking and beautiful scenery!
