I’ve been using Palmetto for years. I never feel like I’m being rushed out the door, being ripped off or being sold procedures I don’t need. They explain everything so I feel confident in taking care of my babies after I leave. From the front desk, doctors and the people behind the scenes, their kindness and professionalism always is top notch. I recommend them to everyone.

- My cats and dogs aren’t as thrilled with them as I am. They tend to leave with bandaids and medicine 😂

Palmetto Vet was recommended to me a few years ago when I moved from Columbia, SC. Due to my dogs ongoing skin issues and finally getting them under control prior to leaving Columbia, it was important for me to find a vet I trusted. Palmetto Vet is exactly that. They treat your dog, as well as you like family. They are very fair priced in their services and are very professional. An employee also recommended a wonderful place to kennel my dog when I was away for awhile which assures me they are not out to take your money (they border and kennel dogs too). They fixed my dog a year ago and just recently did her annual check up plus vaccinations. If you’re considering trusting them with your pets and have doubts, you will not be let down I promise!

Had a great experience at Palmetto this morning. Dr. Gwinn was very compassionate and thorough. Both front office ladies are always super nice, but wanted to say that Ruby went above and beyond for me today. Palmetto Vet, I hope you know how lucky you are to have her!

I highly recommend them. They have been the best to my dogs, and they don't do unnecessary test either. Go to them you won't be disappointed!

All my babies go to this vet and I absolutely love them and trust them! They know my kittens as soon as I walk through the door. They are simply amazing!

The staff and doctor is so friendly and nice.They explain everything to you about what is wrong with your pet and why they are to be on medications. I highly recommend taking your pets here.

They were so kind and caring today when we had to go have our precious Snowball put to sleep . They seemed to truly care and gave us all the time we needed and offered to let us go out the back way since we were upset and crying .

I have taken my fur babies here since 2009. They have always been amazing. My last baby just passed and Faith was so amazing. She went above and beyond her job for me in a hard time. Ruby at the desk has always been wonderful and the doctors took care of my 2 special need dogs with so many health problems. They have always been caring and compassionate. When I'm ready for my next baby, I will gladly still drive the 40 minutes to see them. I have total trust and confidence in this group

I have been using the Vet services since they first opened the practice. Dr. Love, Dr. Quinn, the entire staff are great. My pets have had wonderful care at Palmetto Veterinary.

Oh my goodness I had went to Newport veterinarian and they are so expensive so friend of mine told me to come to palmetto and let me just say their staff is so sweet and there were so good with Luna as well as their price was much lower than in Newport. Bless these folks for the service they provide for our animals, and bless them for the service they provide the us as well. If it weren't for them caring for animals at veterinarians offices we wouldn't have as long with our animals so thank you.

Dr. Gwinn performed surgery on my 12 yr old Australian Shepherds back leg to remove a growth the size of a golf ball. He has healed beautifully. With no problems. The staff there in McConnells are very caring. 5 Star Rating for our first time experience.

Love this vet! I have never had a bad experience. They are always loving and kind to my high anxiety dog. I know she's in the best hands when she has to visit.

My wife and I have been to many vets in the surrounding area and this one takes the cake. We’ve been going here for just over a year for our dog and cats and we’ve had absolutely no issues. The staff is extremely welcoming and loving towards all of our pets. They are quick to accommodate our pets’ needs and are typically quick to get an appointment made. They are never in a rush when working with us. They take the time to answer any of our questions and genuinely teach us about what is going on with our pets. We’ve dealt with Dr. Love every time except for today, which was Dr. Gwinn, who was also fantastic and went above and beyond my expectations. Both doctors have been fantastic and I recommend this vet to any of our friends and family at any opportunity given.

Incredible service! Dr. Love and Dr. Quinn always take the best care of our dogs. From emergency visits to scheduled services- they take the best care of our dogs. We will not send our animals anywhere else! Thank you Palmetto!

I chose this vet originally because they were the cheapest option for my ESA to get the procedure she needed due to prices up everywhere, i couldn’t afford the most expensive. This ended up being the best decision I made. They are the most understanding and kind hearted people. I don’t know her name but the sweet blond girl has absolutely proven humanity is still kind. Thank you to Palmetto and their crew for taking care of our baby, and keeping us well taken care of.

Where do I even begin. Dr. Gwinn and his entire staff went above and beyond with us trying to fight for our puppy Tucker. The level of care and compassion here exceeds all expectations. There’s a reason I drive an hour out of my way for my babies. Thank you for showing Tucker love while he was here.

I cannot begin to share my gratitude for Dr. Love and his staff. My dog Manny is a special case. Food allergies, a heart murmur, LOVES to bark (a LOT) and then I found a little bump on his leg. I was told he would need to be put under for surgery, and I was scared because the murmur was detected one minute and gone the next. So, I listened to my sister and sought out Dr. Love. I’m so thankful I did.

Dr. Love found the murmur and explained the murmur rate to me as a stage 2. He took one look at the bump and gave me the option of removing it right there through lidocaine and without an anesthetic. He did chest X-rays, and Manny got his nails trimmed, too. Little guy got 2 stitches, a workup, and we discovered he has right side CHF. Dr. Love showed the images to me, walked me through it, got Manny on medication immediately. His entire staff was professional, respectful, and welcoming. Manny is my child, he’s all I have, so I take his health very seriously. I’m so thankful I found a vet that does the same for his patients, even though they may bark their head off at him!
