TACOS LA HUERTA

Oh my gosh! You absolutely need to try this out! I was greeted very kindly from the owner and we chatted a minute about the various choices. He was kind enough to offer a sample of carnitas. I ended up getting 2 carnitas tacos and 1 steak taco. The carnitas may be the best I've ever had! At least top 5. The steak was good, but the carnitas overwhelmed the steak. As I was eating, the owner offered me another sample, this time of brisket. It was fantastic, and I'll 100% be back to try it out (and another carnitas). 3 tacos (street size) we're under $8. Can't wait to revisit.

Update- so good, I went back two days later. Tried bria taco this time, and it was unreal good!! I love this place! Must try

I had the carnitas tordas. It was delicious. I added the container of green sauce to it. I'll definitely go back to try more of their menu items.

They special made us Vegetarian Tacos from mushrooms & corn [tacos de verduras] and they were scrumptious! Highly recommend. We were just passing through & this was perfect.

It's a super yummy taco truck!

I grew up in California and taco trucks were one of the things that I missed the most after moving here. Jose is the real deal. By far the tastiest Mexican food I’ve had in any state East of Arizona.

Get the birria tacos!!!!!! For real.

You've seen this blue truck sitting next to Maxine's across from the car wash. And maybe you've been scared to stop and give it a shot. Put your fear away and stop in. Juan, if I remember correctly, is from La Huerta which is located in the Jalisco region of Mexico. Super nice guy, and working alongside him in the truck you will often find various family members. he is putting out some excellent Mexican fare from this tiny little kitchen! My wife loves the Jalisco Bowl, especially when I tell them to add extra mushrooms, yum! I've eaten everything on the menu, and even a few things not on the menu. Nothing has disappointed me. If you've never had a torta, try one. All of the tacos are excellent. The burritos are super filling. Don't know what kind of meat to try, its simple. Chicken, is what you expect. Carne Asade is basically strips of marinated steak. Either of those, you can't go wrong. But, if you want to broaden your horizons try the Al Pastor.

Oh! I almost forgot the Birria Tacos.... Oh man... Just writing this is making me hungry. I know what I'm having for dinner. See you there.

Also, I could go on and one about this place. You can call your order in ahead of time and have it ready when you get there! Super helpful during these colder months.

Great food! I had the burrito chipotle, and my sister had a torta and a pastor taco. Amazing! Will definitely go back, as it's difficult to find really good Mexican food out here, but this place is the bomb.

Very Good Authentic Food!!!

This place is the greatest Mexican food eatery around the Savannah, pickwick, and Adamsville area. In just a little taco truck! Jose is the man. You can’t fake authenticity!!!

I have gotten the pork carnitas and the shrimp tacos. It has been delicious both times. Real, authentic food. Best meal in Savannah in my opinion!

Awesome authentic food. I drive 45 minutes to eat there once a week for 4 years now. Mouth waters everytime I start driving.
