The Restaurant at Pickwick Landing

I can not say enough good things about this restaurant! We arrived at the lodge on 1/11/24 to 1/15/24 and were here through the winter storm in which our flights were canceled. We weathered out the storm here, and the staff in this restaurant have gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Not only are they kind, but the food they provided has been excellent! They had a limited menu (to be expected when the town is shut down), and through this, their daily lunch and dinner menus have been hot comfort foods that have been absolutely delicious! We eat here every time we visit this town and have enjoyed every meal, but this time is different. They treated us as family, and we will never forget this warming hospitality. If I could, I'd rate this place with 10 stars!

What a wonderful hidden gem. Beautiful restaurant overlooking the water, with glass walls. The food was spectacular, but I could not say enough about their staff. What a wonderful group of human beings. Genuinely fantastic bunch. A family member was stranded due to inclement weather and the staff went above and beyond to make her feel at home. It is sometimes the simplest act of kindness that reveals the true nature of who people are. And if that holds true, everyone working this restaurant deserves an award. Do yourself a favor and visit them next time you're in the neighborhood. You won't regret it.

I had great service here. At one point I noticed that the server saw that my drink was low and came and filled it without being asked. The food was also amazing, all nice, hot, and freshly made.

I was visiting sites in southwest Tennessee and decided to stop at the restaurant at Pickwick landing state park. I'm glad I did.
My server, Nancy, was good at providing information on the menu and the special of the day. She also kept the drink full and removed the dishes as soon as I was done. A very good employee.
I got the special and it was delicious. There was more food than I could eat.
I'll be back the next time I'm in the area.

Stephanie was our bartender and made a pineapple jalapeño margarita for Mark and it was delicious.Had a great time stayed in the lodge..

Stephanie and the rest of the staff were super cool! She pours a great cocktail! Didn't have food but heard others rave over grilled shrimp tacos.

We visited on a Friday evening over the memorial day weekend. We loved it! The view from the dining room with the large windows looking out onto the lake is spectacular. Our server was very attentive and took care of everything we needed. Very friendly and cordial. Most of our group had the catfish and all of us felt like it was outstanding. Cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. Prices were reasonable. We would recommend and plan on returning the next time we are in the area.

Had delicious breakfast omelets ordered off the menu, and they have the buffet as well. The food was tasty, prices very reasonable, the staff was super nice, and we got to eat while enjoying a great view of the lake.

Hardworking staff and great food! We have been twice recently with a large group for highschool golf tournaments. Each time we have been impressed with the great service and the delicious food and menu options. Once they were short staffed but they went above and beyond and provided us with excellent service. Clean, up to date restaurant with beautiful scenery.

Very good dinner with 8 people. 4 kids 4 adults. Service was excellent and food was great. We had salads, kids food, catfish, fried shrimp, loaded fries. I suggest all. It was dead, so great place to come.

All the food was delicious - especially the Catfish tacos. And a great view of the lake.

Top place to eat at Pickwick on the water in my opinion. Lots of menu options, full bar, and reasonable prices. Clean and upscale feeling and overlooks the lake.

I had two fantastic meals in this wonderful restaurant overlooking the lake. They are doing a perfect job social distancing, the tables and decor are up to date, and the view is amazing. The servers at both meals were top of the line: friendly, efficient, and helpful.

The banana pudding is exceptionally good. This is not hype. The breakfast most excellent.

Food was great. Clean facility and our waitress Ashleigh, was very nice, professional, and a very hard worker! She constantly stayed busy. Definitely will be back! Best service I've had in a long time!!! I

The buffet had a good variety of traditional southern food (catfish, chicken and dressing, roast beef, beans, potatoes, cornbread, and cobbler). Our waitress was delightful. The best part was our kids ate free. I think there is an age limit but it helped our pocketbook.

Love this place! Great food and a beautiful view. Not a bad seat in the house. Generous portions served from friendly staff.

Excellent service. Good food at a good price. Nice people. They did their best to accommodate our super-large party. The waitresses are fun, full of spunk, fiesty, vivacious... real spitfires.

On a busy Monday night with a lodge full of people in for a conference, the staff at the lodge restaurant worked their butts off handling food and drink orders. Dedicated and professional crew!

I visited the Captain's Galley while on Holiday several years ago and I loved the lakeside atmosphere of the place.

They have a great menu selection and a friendly staff. The Fish & Chips I ordered was delicious.
