Love this place. Kind of like the "Cheers" of Cherokee (without the booze). Everyone knows everyone and if they don't know you, you feel welcomed and included. Lots of banter between the diners and the employees mostly due to the hilarious and beautiful Misty Riley. Food is great. Just what you want when you need that home cooked meal but don't want to cook it yourself. They have meat and 3 and also steaks, fish, salad, hamburgers, chicken fingers...Trust me, you won't regret stopping.

heard nothing but great things about jj's since moving to Cherokee and it did not disappoint! a very cute little small town spot with great food, highly recommend. the owner was very nice and patient while I figured out the menu. I have been a few times now and everyone is still just as kind!

We picked up our order and the food is as great. We will definitely be back.

Update: Second visit and our food was amazing. Price is very good and the staff is very friendly.

Do not sleep on JJ’s. Their food is home style and delicious. Price is like you stepped back into 2000. Tip the wait staff- they work hard for you! I always stop here in trips and get some lunch- onion rings are superb.

Absolutely amazing food, it’s definitely a family night dinner spot every week since we moved here to Cherokee! Good diner style southern food, great portions, and absolutely amazing prices!

The food was served fast and tasty. Everyone was friendly and cheerful. The old photos on the wall are a glimpse into a simple and happy world.

This is a good place for 3 veggies and a meat.

The staff are very personable and on point with everyone. The restaurant is clean and organized.

We came from visiting graceland and see this little restaurant on our way home and we were so glad we stopped by! The food was so delicious!! Great service and in expensive! We ate for 17 Dollars for 3 people, can't beat that this day and time!

Good food at a good price. A taste of hospitality and the south. Meca spot for Cherokee alabama. I want to say they been around for over 30 years. I got a burger and fries and it was a wonderful lunch! Must go!

JJs is what a small business in a small town is all about. Yes prices could be lower but that's not their fault.
Please support our small business and please please Tip your waitress. I believe all tips are split with all on shift. It's hard work and little pay.

Nice little cafe in Cherokee, AL. Appears more as a dairiette, but dont let that fool you, they have daily plate lunch specials and several all day food ootions.....including breakfast!! Also, they do have a good burger!

This is my go-to place when I'm on the way home from Alabama going back to Tennessee. I always call ahead and get a BLT french fries and large Coke. Sometimes I added milkshake, they are delicious. Their dining menu is off the chart with homemade food one time I had the fish it was excellent.

Catfish plate was awesome! I also had a plate lunch a few days ago. It was soooo good! Coconut pie is great too and wonderful friendly people! I will be back!
