River Heights Restaurant

Ethan was our server, and he did amazing. Attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. Our food was exceptional.

My first impression was, wow! What an amazing lil place, right on the water. The atmosphere was perfect for a Sunday afternoon. We were greeted at the door and seated right away. Our drink order was taken promptly and the mimosa was delightful, Service from our waitress Norma was very personal and pleasant. The food was fresh (I had a salad platter w/crispy chicken) and perfectly seasoned. The hand dipped chicken tenders were cooked to order and the homemade ranch was some of the best I've ever had. Definitely glad we found this place and will definitely visit again. Delicious!

We had our 40th class reunion there! We had a great time! Food, bar, and service was great! The atmosphere was super..so peaceful and serene by the river!

Great place to go to get away to somewhere different to eat. Our food was fantastic especially the onion soup. The wait staff are great people and the view is unbeatable. So if you ever get the chance it's worth the trip.

Nice scene of the Tennessee River. Very nice called and got reserved. Wife got fried shrimp. I got grilled. I have to say "closest to the gulf as you can get in this area". Great food!!!

The catfish and sides are wonderful. The service is lovely. The atmosphere is a newly-remodeled dining room and events space on the upper level overlooking the beautiful Tennessee River and a newly opened nightclub on the ground level opening onto a huge terrace that leads out to the river bank. Sit on the many Adirondack chairs on the terrace with a mint julep and watch the lazy river go by.

My dad and me went for a late lunch and it was great it was not busy we had great service and the food was good and a great view.

Salad bar was great. Loved my steak, it was cooked to perfection, which of course meant no steak sauce. The TN river view is a bonus.

Hailey was my waitress and she was amazing. Dinner was quickly served and my food was wonderful and all items were all HOT.

It’s been a very long time since I’ve had quality customer service as well as a fast and delicious dinner.

Been there 5 times Now, My dinner was really Good and The Service was Great . What a View. I will go back again. P.S Salad Bar was Great

Amazing place with incredible food!!

Found our way here on Mother's Day when all else has seemed to fail with over 2 hour wait times at 3 prior places we has stopped at...River Heights turned out to be a Hidden Gem!!! We had the Mozzarella Sticks, nothing out of the ordinary there, but the marinera sauce HAD to be home made, as it was absolutely delicious with tremendous flavor and spices. We had the fried fish fillet with hush puppies and loaded baked potato. The fish was to DIE for! Fresh Pond raised fish!! Not like Haggies fish that tastes like it came straight off the river bottom 🤢. The fish fillets were HUGE with more than enough meat on them and cooked Perfectly WITH amazing flavor! The hush puppies have peppers in the flavorful batter that just made the pups POP with flavor once bitten into. 😋. There was nothing held back on the potato. More than enough "loaded". Couldn't eat it all but HAD to save room for the Strawberry Cake as when we were coming in, a lady exiting told us to NOT skip the cake. When I say it was the most Moist cake I'd ever eaten .. that's exactly what I mean. The icing was spot on as well. MAN I wished I had taken the whole cake home! The ONLY regret(s) I have is that I've not found this place sooner and 2, that I'd taken a photo of the food prior to eating! I love in Jackson, TN. but WILL be back. Thank You River Heights for such a wonderful meal for my Mother on Mother's Day.

Great place to eat on the TN River. The entire menu is great. Never eaten anything bad or unsatisfactory ever ever ever from River Heights. Great view of the river from evry seat. Catfish is great. Waitresses are very nice and do a great job. The owner is excellent and keeps the place nice!

Food was delicious. First time there so we ordered onion rings as appetizer. The plate was xtra large piled high. We weren’t hungry anymore by the time my catfish plate and hubby’s heavenly Coconut shrimp.

Was beyond expectations. Out of state guests were very pleased and enjoyed the atmosphere and view as well as the food. Wonderful overall experience.

Great service, had catfish for the first time, it was done as fish should be (not overcooked). Barely had time to finish my salad from a great salad bar before my meal arrived. My server was very attentive. Surprised there is no sign on Hwy 64. Only reason I knew it was here was the fellow at the motel told me about it and glad he did.
