We love it there as does our dog. It's always clean with bathrooms on premises. Always peaceful and beautiful.

The campgrounds are pristine and beautiful! We strung up hammocks and enjoyed kayaking and just relaxing. The bathhouse was clean and spacious.

Awesome place to go Camping... $11 per Night (Price of Stay may Change) Beautiful View and Great place to Relax.. However I don't recommend Swimming in this location Sharp Rocks under Shore Line If you do wish to Swim Please be careful and aware of your surroundings Water Levels can change Quickly if there's a change in the Weather or if the Dam staff releasing more Water... Enjoy your stay and take a minute to capture the amazing View

The Rangers were very helpful& hospitality is#1 they will assist with all they can.The host was very hospitable. Her name is Peggy& she's on lot #10.Its a primitive camping I my.No going just for the day so they reserve customers spots. They're are plenty of picnic areas& swimming for day use.We had a great time& will be returning soon.It was just beautiful& very clean:)

We visited 9-22 and stayed a campsite 19. The river was up due to heavy rains the previous couple of days and rose approximately 9 inches during the only night we stayed. Bathrooms were clean and spacious.

Great primitive campground! Hope they maintain its status and never put in electrical and sewer! Best sunset on Pickwick Lake. A jewel of the State Park System

August is a great time to visit this wonderful campground. Sites are right on the lake. I would suggest reserving the sites on the website to ensure you have a site when you arrive. The site are first come first serve otherwise. Fishing in the cove was really good. You will have to bring in you own wood that is certified treated for insects.

Awesome primitive campground. Clean bathrooms, well maintained sites. The campground host, Lenora, was amazing. She was available if and when we needed her and made us feel like family. We will definitely be back!

Nice vista to enjoy watching boats of various types; motorboats, tugs pushing barges, etc.

Special place right on Pickwick Lake - the bathhouse keeps it from being primitive, but this is pretty close to roughing it. Gorgeous views of sunsets in the summer.

Enjoyed! Pretty clean area, and not as busy as the main campground. Make sure to bring ur own water! You can see the sunset here, but not sunrise.

I was definitely happy with my decision to camp here. Stayed in Site 8 and it was just about perfect. I had a heavy fishing kayak with me that was fully rigged and loaded down and the lakeside camp site made getting in and out of the water easy. Sites are roomy with plenty of space to setup multiple tents it you wanted to. Boat ramp is available at the campground as well. There is also a bathroom/shower building on-site which do get crowded at night with everyone seeming to decide to take nightly showers at the same time, so expect to wait in line.
Park staff and campground host were very friendly.

I live by the park and was having water problems at my home so I went to the park to use the showers. And I contacted the number to pay the $5 fee since I wasn't camping. Everything worked out great and was very nice and clean.
