What a gem. We got the 3 meat plate plus a hot link. Ribs, chicken & brisket. Beans and potato salad. Everything was delicious. Ribs was our favorite. Sides were seasoned well. Bob was a delight to talk to. A must stop if you are in east Texas.

We found this place by accident while driving through and decided to give them a try. We were not disappointed.

This is by far the best brisket I have ever had, and having been born and raised in Texas should say everything.

The staff has always been the friendliest ever time we have visited. Each time we have visited from Houston, we have made it a point to stop by and get some of their food. We love it!

This is the hometown BBQ place you’ve always wanted to visit. It’s not fancy. It’s not glitzy. But it’s good!!! Family-owned for decades…and they know what they’re doing!

I love this place it reminds me of my home town rib place called Hilary's in Waukegan IL. The only thing I find lacking it the portion for the price. Sausage only 6 pieces and brisket 7 slices. I know got to make a profit, but you don't have to make a killing. Let your customer enjoy. Especially out of towners.

This place was great! The brisket melts in your mouth. It had the beautiful pink smoke penetration. The potato salad and beans were absolutely delicious! The folks running the place were very friendly and personable. If you want bbq in Henderson, Texas, this is the place to go!

Great food and LOVE the BBQ beans!!

We ordered about half the menu. From the sausage to the sweet tea, everything is delicious. They have the best sweet tea and baked beans!! My husband's favorite was the sausage. He loved the flavor! Best bbq place around!

I have lived in Texas for many years, spent time in Memphis, and many other states that purport to have great BBQ.

I have to say that Bob's is one of my new favorites. The brisket was moist (even the lean) and had great depth of taste. The smoked sausage was also very good. The true measure of BBQ is whether the meat 'needs the sauce' to have taste. Bob's definitely did not. The sides were also very good...the beans, the coleslaw, etc.

It is worth the drive to Henderson for this BBQ.

Been going to Bob's BBQ for so many years!! Local family owned restaurant where everyone is very friendly. Anything you choose from their menu board could be featured in a magazine it's so good! Especially the ribs & sausage! Henderson is very fortunate to have Bob's & his always tasty BBQ!!

As usual, my trip to Bob's is like visiting with family and friends. The food is always great!! If the service at a place is not both friendly and efficient, we never go back. Well, we keep going back. My mother-in-law (Margaret) and father-in-law (Ilester Little, Sr.) turned us onto Bob's. It was their getaway when he was living. A #1 in service and A#1 in cuisine. Loved it. Meat is so tender. I had ribs and a sliced brisket sandwich. Great BBQ sauce. Brisket was as soft as the bread. Best brisket sandwich I have ever had. Very yummy. Great friendly service too.

The food is great. I recommend. Their boudin. Both spicy and regular are really flavorful and the casing isn't gummy. Their chop beef sandwiches are really dense. I know some places skimp on stuff like that.

I tried this place for the 1st time today, and I'm in love. The brisket was amazing, I loved the beans and sausage. The peaches and pecan cobbler was excellent. I would also note the owner has many awards for his BBQ. Definitely coming back.

Best BBQ in all of East TX and Northwest Louisiana. Hands down. I have been eating here since I was a little boy and now that I have moved away I stop by every time I come home to get this world class BBQ. Highly recommend everyone passing through to stop and have a bite.

Stopped here on our way back to Dallas! The BBQ melted in my mouth! It was everything I hoped it would be! Will def be stopping every time I come through! Potatoe salad and coleslaw were perfect! Real home cooking and very friendly family!

Great bbq , traditionally the best bbq restaurant in Henderson, hands down no competition , when it comes to Henderson dine in bbq places, Bob Allen’s bbq wins. I get the ribs they are awesome, chicken is perfect., brisket is always tender and tasty, and sausages are really good . His sauce is much better than the guys across the road too, perfectly balanced.

Hands down, the very best BBQ in East Texas! Bob and his family take pride in making the customers bellies full and their tastebuds jumping with joy. They have been featured in Oprah Magazine as having amazing BBQ. When Bodacious built a restaurant across the street there was no concern because they aren't "family owned and operated" with a smile as big as Mr. Bob's and the kind "hello" from the family. Not to mention the great food!
