Lightburn's Restaurant at The Palmer Course

The husband and I decided to treat ourselves and had lunch here one afternoon. Everyone was great, the food was phenomenal, and the views were breathtaking.

Fabulous experience. The menu was varied and accommodated different dietary needs. I had the Roast Pork Shoulder, Yukon mashed potatoes and carrots. OMG One of the best meals I have ever eaten. The chief came out to talk to us…a nice addition to our experience. I should mention, we were there Sunday evening and it wasn’t that crowded. I’m sure when they are busy it would be difficult to interact with all the guests. Loved it! No complaints.

great experience. food is excellent!! we had the cheese wheel appetizer, smoked pork shoulder and citrus snapper. all three were awesome. had the chocolate cake....it is huge...plenty of cake for 2-4 people. the cake was delicious as well. our server, paul (bartender as well) was great. he is super friendly, attentive, answered all of questions and made great recommendations. if you are staying at the stonewall resort, do not waste your time and money at the on-site restaurants. lightburns is only a couple minutes away, the food is 10x better, the service is 100x better and the price is about the same.

The food was amazing! I got the chicken and it was so good. Steak was also good. Wine was good. The atmosphere is great and the views outside are flawless. Great for a bar, date night, or after golfing.

Had the wrap and sliders at the beginning of our visit to the resort. It is a great place to start so you can look over the property. The food was delicious and Samantha good good care of us.

We were Planners at a wedding at Lightburn in October & their whole team was amazing to work with! Kylie M & Paul T went out of their way to make everything perfect & was so flexible with last minute changes! Kudos to Jimmy & Steve for managing such a great team! I can't wait to work with them again!

We stayed at the Stonewall resort for a few days. First time there. Very nice place. Ate at the restaurant several times. They offer breakfast and dinner buffets and a full menu. We ordered from the menu for breakfast one morning. I got the Bananas Foster French toast. Best thing ever. We were there at the very start of the spring season. Restaurant had only been open for four days. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. They all said they liked working there and couldn't wait for the summer season.

Wonderful dining experience! From the beginning to the end. The staff is definitely top notch. It's so clean you want to take your shoes off at the door. It overlooks Stonewall Jackson Lake, as well as Stonewall Resort, home of an Arnold Palmer golf course.

I dont give 5 stars to anyone lightly, this resort is as good as it gets. Everything was as it should be, service was friendly, in a timely manner, drinks stayed full, Mary Beth done a great job. Food was excellent, the atmosphere was inviting, very clean facility. Highly recommended if your in the area.

The chicken Alfredo is a huge portion and absolutely delicious! You can make at least 2 meals out of it. You get your money worth.

Great views, rain or shine....but to be able to sit on the porch!!! Menu boasts unique choices, no where else comparable. Staff accommodating and friendly. A place to take your time......
