The radiation Girls (and guy) were AMAZING! I have a crazy schedule, and my kids schedule is worse! They were so accommodating to help me get my treatments scheduled and fit my crazy day. I drove an hour to the facility and then these wonderful people were always smiling and joyful l, even before the sun was shining. Every detail of my treatment plan was fully explained and i never felt that I had any surprises or major questions during the process. I absolutely had a lot of unknown fear and dread going into this stage of my treatment, but these awesome humans made it through as easy as could be. Thank Y’all forever! ❤❤❤

Very friendly and compassionate people that work here. I have a bad back and they gave me extra help getting up and down so it wouldn't aggregate my back. They always greeted me with a smile and I highly recommend them.

I was a patient recently, I can’t say enough good things about Texas Oncology. Dr Kilgore, his staff. Dr. K and his staff , the chemotherapy staff, front desk girls.
Everyone was very pleasant, kind. Always trying to meet my needs. Worked hard to give me the best treatment. I was so pleased with my treatment I received. I would recommend TEXAS ONCOLOGY to anyone, you will not be sorry

Everyone on the staff has been super friendly and helpful. Amazing facility. Only problem I have is that you refuse cash payments. That's a very inconvenient thing to do to your patients when they already have enough to worry about. Worrying about trying to get a checking account or a credit card to pay you as little much. If all you have to pay with is cash then you should have to accept it. Other than that the facility again is absolutely wonderful and everyone that works there is amazing in what they do. Friendly Pleasant and very helpful highly recommend if you need anything they have to offer.

Battling cancer is not an easy task. The radiology team was awesome. All of the team members were knowledgeable but they were also very kind, compassionate, and understanding. They made me comfortable and truly cared about me. They are a very special team.

After receiving a breast cancer diagnosis in May, I came to Texas Oncology for my cancer care. The doctors, nurses, radiation technicians, and support staff have been so kind and sensitive to my needs and emotions during my healing journey. I am healed from my surgery and radiation treatments and am confident that I will enjoy good health once again. A big thank you to each person who aided me on my way.

I just finished my radiation treatment and Dr. K and all his team were very kind and professional and showed compassion for my needs and took the time to help accommodate my needs. Dr. Forerro and his nurses and the nurses in the infusion room have been wonderful. I would like to say thank you to each and every one of them, God Bless every one of them in a special way. They have truly been angels in my journey.

My son and husband have both been treated at Texas Oncology in Amarillo. The staff and doctors have bent over backwards to provide the highest quality care available. We have had only positive experiences, considering the circumstances. No one wants to deal with cancer, but we could not have done it without the expertise and advise from our doctors here. They really take you under their wings and treat you as if you are family!! We are blessed to get to continue our care here with caring staff and doctors. Thank you.

What kind of doctors and nurses would you trust to treat you after a cancer diagnosis?
Doctors who are knowledgeable about current treatment options and up to date on new treatments as they come out, are calm and collected when unexpected complications happen, are compassionate about your situation and the challenges it imposes on your life, are considerate of how treatments make you feel, and who prioritize your comfort at all times?
Nurses and techs who can explain side effects to your treatments, don’t make you feel like you’re interrupting them if you need an extra blanket or more nausea medication, are confident in their abilities so they immediately respond if you have a medical emergency, are doing everything in their power not to stab you with needles all day, are not afraid to call your doctor for any reason necessary, are observant and attentive so they don’t miss any sudden side effects or new symptoms, and who prioritize your comfort at all times?
Texas Oncology gave me that and so much more.
Every doctor, nurse, technician, pharmacist, janitor, and scheduler does their job with a smile. Even when I was in a bad mood, showed up late, missed an appointment, or showed up without an appointment, I have never been treated with anything other than respect and left in better mood than when I arrived.
I would highly recommend Texas Oncology. Whether you have similar expectations for your medical care or you expect much more, I’m confident that you won’t find a better place to go or better people to entrust with your life.

I had my radiation treatment for breast cancer at Texas Oncology. They were very professional and you always felt like they had your best interest at the forefront. I will never forget that on the last day of treatment that I received a card of congratulations from all the staff. They helped lesson the stress of dealing with cancer and I will always be grateful for them!
