Ascension St. Vincent’s Blount

I cant say anything bad about my experiences with them. Ive had some blood drawn, an MRI scan and was in the emergency room a couple times and always found the nurses and medical personnel very friendly and professional. The facility is well maintained, clean and quiet. I would go there for an emergency.

I just want to tell all of the staff at Blount how wonderful and appreciated they are! Blount is small but fierce!!! The ER staff, respiratory, and Dr. were amazing to my grand baby and family. We did not have time to get to Children’s, with all of the hospital diversions and delay in transport we stopped at Blount! They did an amazing job and we are so grateful! They were prompt in having a plan in place and didn’t miss a beat from the time we walked in the door. Thank you all so much for what you do we are blessed in this little town to have such caring professionals!!

I was taken care of with the best staff. Barbi was my nurse and she always told me what was going on. She kept me informed the whole visit. Then when I was told I was being transmitted, the Doctor explained the reason and the necessity for it. I would like to thank everyone for their hard work at such a late time into the early morning hours.

Everything was good there. Everyone was friendly & there wasn’t a long wait time went right it & they got started on me. When I left I was short of breathe & spitting up colored matter. Going to Dr. Tomorrow to find out what is wrong or is this normal after a endoscopy.

I received really good care. They located a pin hole with a polyp that was infected. Diverticulitis. Transported me to East. Aggressively treated my condition that could of ended with me coming home with a colon bag. I did not . Thank you Dr. Hinesman and staff. Cynthia Logsdon

Dr. Ambrosia and his team are wonderful. They are always happy, friendly, eager to help, and just a pure joy to be around. The same goes for the Radiology team. I can’t say enough great things about them!!!

Family member admitted for extended stay for rehabilitation due to repair of broken hip. I spend 5 days here helping care for her. I am so impressed with the kindness, compassion and all around professionalism of the staff. The sweet folks that cleaned the room did excellent work. The dietary staff staff were so quick to bring a different item if we asked for it. The meals provided were well prepared and delivered with a smile. The RNs were precious: Madison, Haley, & Hazel showed pure loving care and were so patience even when we seems to be pressing that “call button” every 5 minutes. The case manager went above and beyond to keeps us informed about what needs we might have in the future. There is an obvious Godly spirit guiding the workers and medical staff here at St. Vincent’s Blount. I will never forget the kindness and love shown to my family. And they have free wi-fi.

The doctor and nurses where amazing. They listened to me and jumped in to check all avenues to make sure I had no internal damage. The women who did my scans in radiology where patient and very kind to me. Especially when I was terrified, they kept me calm. The emergency staff was excellent. The lobby part waiting and others jumping in front upset me. The doctor ( I’m sorry I can’t remember his name) talked to me through every step . I would definitely recommend him.

We are a small town with a well equipped hospital. Although I felt bad, the staff showed respect and compassion. My wait time for testing was short and I was kept informed regarding the procedure.

I am very satisfied with the care that I am receiving. My nurse is very attentive and talks to me about what's going on with me and walks me through the process of her changing my wounds I would use Ascension again in the future if I needed to and would gladly gladly refer anyone to this company.

Friendly staff. No long wait. Dr Akers was very thorough, listened and took his time. Painless blood blood draw. Very helpful.

My CRNP, Traci Mason, was very thorough explaining my lab results and attentive to my needs. She always takes time to listen to my concerns. I’m thankful to have her on my health team!

I have had sub par experiences with this hospital but today has been very good! Seems to have been some changes made. Karen (RN) in the ER was a star and she did wonderful. Amazing bedside manner and very understanding. Even the front desk attendant and security guard was great and patient! Will definitely be back!

I had the best experience from check-in to leaving. Everyone and I mean everyone was very polite and friendly. I was back within 5 minutes of registering and had the absolute best visit from beginning to end.

The people there were super nice,and the Dr.was super nice as well. Thanks for making me feel comfortable.

Everyone was so attentive to my needs and concerns. Some of the best people that I have encountered in my experience with other hospitals. Nurses were fantastic and so very nice no matter what my requests were. Will definitely choose St. Vincents Blount in the future

Fast and courteous from the front desk to everyone else from start to finish! Blount has made some great improvements.

I had to get an X-ray. They were very friendly and the checkin process was very smooth. The X-ray staff were excellent and very careful not to hurt my ankle. They even sent the results to my doctor within a few hours! I couldn’t be happier! Turns out I fractured my fibia.

St. Vincent’s Blount has always been an excellent experience. Friendly, professional and caring.
Can’t ask for a better experience!
