Marion Eye Center

My family and I were visiting Greenville over a long weekend for a wedding. I realized while in route that I had forgotten to pack my contacts. Marion Eye Center was the first place I reached out to on a Friday morning and they were wonderful to work with. Using my existing prescription they provided me a new pair from their inventory along with supplies to get me through. I felt like I’d been a customer for many years. Greenville is fortunate to have such a wonderful business like this in town. Thank you!

Fantastic service!! Kim was wonderful with my laundry list of problems. I had glasses replaced for one child, old glasses repaired for him, and another new pair of glasses ordered to replace a lost pair for another child. I was in and out in no time! They even had a sale going on so I was able to get a pair of new glasses for my son for only $20! Fast and super friendly service. I would definitely recommend Marion eye center in Greenville.

The girls got me in right away when I called about an eye problem I am having. They were also gracious enough to also take the time to adjust a couple pairs of glasses I brought in with me. The doctor was very thorough and explained my problem in detail. Everyone in the office is polite, helpful and knowledgeable.

This is a great place for glasses! Kim was especially awesome in setting up my bifocals. Fully recommend.

People are so nice there and got me in fast and they explained everything to you so I'll be happy when I get my new glasses

I had a fantastic experience in early 2019, got a great deal on two pairs of glasses. Two months ago I called and asked about scheduling an annual follow up and they booked me in, but when I showed up today I was told the doctor wasn't in and that I had actually been scheduled the day before and the appointment had been canceled.

Now, I don't know if they booked it wrong or if I just scribbled down the wrong day, but the only communication I got from them in the last year was a voicemail last month telling me I needed to schedule my annual checkup. Since I'd already scheduled one myself, I assumed I didn't need to follow up. I should've just called them back and confirmed everything then, so that's on me. Anyway, didn't receive a phone call or follow up from anyone about confirming or rescheduling or anything for today's (yesterday's) appointment. Again, great service the first time I went, but just a head's up RE: Communication. We had a few crossed wires.

The employees are great. Problem: I asked about having the arms extended so that they would go behind my ears and hopefully prevent them from slipping and I was told that it couldn't be done, I was directed to the Oakley brand, being told that they are designed to squeeze tighter. They slip worse than my previous pair. I had my eye exam and was told that my left eye had improved. I ordered and paid for my glasses, they called me when they received my glasses and told me that I had an additional fee to pay before I could get my glasses due to insurance . I picked them up; a short time later I had a physical and I was unable to read the required line with my left eye, I returned for a recheck and was told that the eye doctor wasn't in and I'd have to come back the following day (Note: The eye doctor was about 10 feet away from me when I walked in and then she vanished) after they discussed it, I was told that I could get in in an hour. I rode around, killing time since I live 30 minutes away, 45 minutes later I got a call telling me that I have to come back the following day to see a different doctor. I accepted the appointment. Later that day I got a call saying that they couldn't remember the day that I was to come in and that I could come in either Tuesday or Thursday. I didn't return, I'll live with it until my next eye exam but it won't be at Marion Eye Center.

Update: My glasses got broken (I had taken out the insurance on them), I called them for a replacement, they told me that I had to pay 20% for the lenses and full price for the frames. When I questioned them about the frames, I was told that I didn't take out the proper insurance to cover the frames. I told her that I took out the insurance that was offered to me. Lesson learned. Thank you Marion Eye Center for the "experience"

Me and my family went to the Greenville location . I ended up having to go to a different eye Doctor to get my eyes rechecked because I couldn't use my new glasses. I was told that I couldn't have the add ons to my lenses which was not true the office manager was rude to her staff and didn't give good customer service. I also had to get my daughters eyes rechecked. All of this cost me extra money because I had to pay about of pocket. I do not recommend this office

Had to wait almost 2 hours to be seen after the scheduled appointment time. Then were given the wrong size contacts since the proper size was out of stock. The receptionist wasnt sure how to enter the insurance information so just guessed on the fees for the day. They place is very unorganized and very understaffed. I would highly consider looking elsewhere for an eye doctor.
