Comfy beds - nice views of the mighty Mississippi - restaurant/bar closed during our stay, but looked cool - part of our total eclipse adventure - easy drive to St Louis - hot water a bit finicky. Abigail took my tweezers…not scary, just a prank from a kid ghost. Would stay again.

Awesome place. We stayed in Captains room on second floor. Girlfriend went looking for ice machine at midnight. Something spooked her and she came back to the room pretty quick. That was great!!! Was it Abigail? Don't forget to try the breakfast.

The staff in the hotel and in Abigail's tap room are awesome. We had so much fun. The only thing I'd change is making the bed a bit softer

Loved the Ruebel!!! My husband and I had a weekend getaway to Grafton and stayed in the Jacuzzi Suite. Everything was amazing. The room was clean, the Jacuzzi tub was awesome, and the location was perfect within walking distance of so many restaurants and shops. The only bummer was that the little restaurant that is attached wasn't open so we couldn't have breakfast there. But other than that it was amazing!! Thanks so much for the hospitality!! We'll be back!

Great stay for a weekend get away! So cute inside and cozy. Cyrus at the front desk was also very accommodating and hospitable. He helped us with all of our concerns and was so kind. Would love to stay here again, great breakfast too.

We had a wonderful time in Grafton. The hotel was so comfortable, we loved the bed, sheets, towels etc. The staff was amazing from Mo, to waitresses and maids, all so nice, like one big family. They want to make sure you are comfortable and do what it takes. We had an awesome breakfast on Sunday before we left. Thanks again Mo!! Can't wait to come back very soon. And we are bringing our friends.

I have stayed at another of places, this place is in my top five.. I love the character of this place. It's old and they keep that feel. So do expect that your going to have some old issues. I am live with the bed I want to take it home with me if you ever get rid of the furniture let me know I'll come back here for the bed.. the rooms were super clean . And the service was amazing I felt like that really wanted me here and they appreciated I chose this hotel.

We stayed in the room with a deck. Since it rained quite a bit we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we could but it was a nice room. Comfortable beds and more pillows than I could ever use. We really appreciated the mini fridge with two bottles of water too.

We stayed here and walked to all the places we could go in Grafton.

This was our view and the continental breakfast was a great start to our day. A lovely old school hotel, I recommend it.

Nice. Friendly. Clean. The owners were very nice and personable and spoke to us as if we had been friends forever, very down to earth and friendly and welcoming. We were definitely treated as guest and not just customers. It was a nice and different experience then anywhere else I've ever stayed. We will most definetly be back again.

My wife and I booked the Ruebel Hotel to stay at for her birthday! When the weekend rolled around it was so cold and rainy we called to see we could push it a week and the owner gladly did it! Then we checked in early the day we arrived and ate lunch in the restaurant which had amazing food and the service was so amazing!!!! We the. Visited the shops that were located all around the hotel including having some very good ice cream from The awhile Scoop across the street. We went and drank wine ate Aeris winery and had an afternoon snack at The Loading Dock (all of which were right by Ruebel Hotel) we finished by walking to the Oyster Bar for a good dinner and went back to the Hotel where my wife and I planned to spend the evening on the big deck overlooking the confluence of the Illinois and Mississippi! To bad we got a call from our family saying our kid got sick and we had to leave around 7 that night! The owner however felt terrible that we had to leave and offered us a discount on our next stay and and bottle of wine to take home with us! Neither of which we took because this hotel was so amazing and the ownership so generous that we couldn’t imagine taking more from them! We will be back to the Ruebel very soon because of their great ownership, central location, great employees and the fantastic accommodations!

What a neat place to stay. Highly recommend this hotel for it's location, cleanliness, and outdoor patio seating. Right next door to a bar/restaurant. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. He was very personable and went out of his way to make sure our stay was excellent.

Everything was wonderful. It is a very old hotel with a lot of history which the owner is very happy to share. The staff are very welcoming and the showers were fantastic!!!!! Wonderful view!! And within walking distance of anything on main Street and beyond. Will absolutely stay again

We stayed 2 nights at Reubel Hotel this last weekend for July 3rd fireworks. Very nice, clean and Mo the owner/manager is the best!!! We shared lots of conversation and laughs. Planning to stay again soon! Definitely a lovely, historical location to visit!

Beautiful hotel with nice, modern amenities added without compromising the historic charm. Room was small, but adequate. Linens and towels were nice quality. Price was extremely reasonable!

I got blasted one night at the Loading Dock. I couldn't find my keys, so I walked over here and got a room for the night. A great rest, and I probably avoided getting my 3rd DUI. Highly recommend.

I had read all the reviews for places to stay in Grafton and this place seemed the best. I wasn't wrong! It is a quaint, little, family owned hotel. When you walk in, there was a sign on the front desk that said come to the bar for help - that was our kinda place! We received a key for our hotel room, not a card to swipe! The room was sufficient for our needs. My boyfriend and I ate at the restaurant there in the Reubel twice and both times it was delicious. The wait staff was super friendly and efficient. If going back to Grafton, I would most definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Hotel! We live 90 minutes away from Grafton and frequent the town often. We have had excellent dinner at the Ruebel Restaurant over the years but have never stayed at the Hotel. Yesterday we couldn't tear ourselves away from enjoying the time in town and decided to spend the night. We called multiple places and the Ruebel had the best rate and location for what we wanted. The owner and his son treated us like we were 5 star guests. The entire place was very clean and staff was friendly. We cannot wait to return!

I tired to book online before we got to Grafton, but it said the hotel was full. Still needed a place when we got there - so asked at the desk. They had 2 rooms available and got us right in. Beautiful old building, clean rooms, friendly people, great food. Couldn't have turned out any better!

We had a relaxing time at the Ruebel. It is so quaint with many antiques and historic atmosphere. The rooms have been kept in the 19th century motif with lovely décor. Our room was extremely clean and bed was just right. They do provide TV/internet, but who needs that when you can sit on a deck and watch the old muddy Mississippi and its traffic?! My only change would be to not go on Monday since their "saloon restaurant" is closed on Mondays and the menu looked delicious. Would go again and recommend.
