Port of Grafton

A beautiful, calm place... with a great view of the river.
There are a few stone tables to sit on or to have some lunch.

There is plenty of parking if you’re wanting to explore downtown Grafton by walking. The ferry is near here too.

This is a fun little park along the Mississippi River, just a couple miles south of the confluence point of the Mississippi and Illinois rivers. The lighthouse is really cool, and attracts a lot of attention. We enjoyed walking along the shore, and Lacey decided to get in the water. Sometimes there's just no stopping her!
Port of Grafton is a fun and worthwhile stop.

Nice river front it’s a place we enjoy running to… the town is a beach… great state park go south there’s a water park and a little town tucked away in between two hills … drive through even stop at the little store … back on the road to the southe the Mississippi on your right and bright limestone bluffs on your left great drive …Grafton has a lift you can ride ice skating in fall through spring ferry rides are free on the Illinois river.. crossing the Mississippi ferry you pay but worth getting out of your vehicle look around take some pictures and say hi to the crew they love the hi….

My son and I were out looking for some different fishing spots for this fall and there are a lot of spots to fish on the bank.

Great place to stop and watch the boats.

Great river views. Especially at sunset.

Great place to take photos & look around. Limo liked all the free "sniffs". Took ferry across river, $8 one way/$15 round trip. Spent weekend at Pere Marquette SP. Beautiful scenery & trails. Wanted to do zip line but was too hot to leave Limo in the truck. Limo liked eating at The Landing.
