Cleburne Welcome Center

This is an easy off rest stop for west bound traffic on I 20. Large truck/RV parking area as well as large car park area w handicap ♿ spaces. Nice picnic shelters. We didn't use the bathrooms. It's the Alabama welcome.center, but we didn't go in.

Beautiful rest stop ! Staff were very friendly and helpful. We walked the area and sat down to have a picnic. Great place to stop and stretch the legs. Clean restrooms is always a big plus !!

This is a great rest stop area! The bathrooms are very clean. The scenery is wonderful. There's a very nice back porch with rocking chairs with ferns. There's picnic tables and grills. It is very peaceful and I highly recommend that you stop here if passing through!

I am impressed with the overall design and detail that this welcome center possesses. There is actually a wood burning fireplace inside that gives the rest of the facility a campfire smell. The amount information on different cities and attractions within the state is enormous. There is definitely something to suit everyone's interest in the beautiful state of Alabama.

The best rest stop I have ever found, anywhere. After getting through Atlanta and its sometimes terrifying traffic, arriving at this rest stop, just over the border in Alabama, feels like coming home. The buildings are very nice, and there's a lovely porch with rocking chairs in the back where you can sit, rock and rest before getting back on the road.

The Cleburne Welcome Center is a great place to stop and rest. There is a ton of picnic seating and a back porch. The area is very clean and well maintained. There are vending machines on the side of the building. The staff is friendly and helpful on planning out ideas to explore Alabama.

Very well kept, clean grounds, but here yet again dumb idiots walking their pets and don't pick up behind the pet. Bags were there cause I used them instead of my own. City police or state troopers should get involved here. It was a much needed stop before I got home into Douglasville Georgia and to walk my dogs. After a 10 hr drive from Tulsa Oklahoma that last leg of 1.5 hrs this stop was badly needed. Thanks Alabama for digging out this oasis for the tired solo driver to stay safe. Hats off to you on a very nice facility.

My daughter and I stopped here on our drive from Florida to California. Nicest one we stopped at. Added bonus for those taking photos (what did we do before Instagram?) several state signs/monuments to take a photo with.

Such a lovely stop.. We could have sat in the rocking chairs all day. Friendly atmosphere and lots of brochures that make you want to come back to Alabama.

This Alabama Welcome Center was just perfect for a pitstop on my way to the Birmingham area. Restroom was clean and warm on a cool January morning.

Gotta do it when in Flagstaff.
Bonus.... multiple trails through the Ponderosa pine forrest from 1/4 mile to 2 miles long adjacent to the parking lot. Take your dogs on a grand adventure. Must do!!!

This place a regular stop for me and it’s hands down one of the best welcome center in the country. The exterior is clean and well lit at night and the inside is spotless and smells clean and fresh. Dianna is great at what she does so a big thank you to her for keeping the place in top shape.
