Butera Market

Frank's Freshway Market, formerly the Butera Market in Genoa is a good, well stocked store. Very good selection of meat at reasonable prices, good wine/beer/liquor department, as well as dairy, vegetables, and bakery. The meat products we bought here have all been great quality.

We love shopping at Butera.
I had a bit of an issue with a couple of employees at the Deli, but one of the management team (Red) handled and resolved the situation calmly and professionally.
We need more people like Red working in Customer Service positions.

Great place to buy meats. They cut it there and grind the beef there so there is no cross contamination of meats to worry about. Sale prices cannot be beat on their meats either! It is worth the extra driving time for us to shop there. They also have good variety of deli cheeses.

I do all my shopping at Butera in Genoa. Hands down the best pricing on meats and produce around. Great selection and always well stocked. Only store I know that has lamb all the time and not just Holidays.

Fantastic small town grocery store. Best produce and prices. Avocados for a buck cheaper than other grocery stores. Clean and well organized interior. Very friendly and helpful employees. Fresh meat and Deli markets. Rarely need to go elsewhere as they have a great selection and reasonable prices. Well done Butera!

Butera has the freshest produce, and the prices are fantastic! I make a trip there once a week to stock up on veggies and a few pounds of the beef fajitas from the meat counter. They're our favorite! If you haven't already, you should definitely check them out.

Gone are the days of Piggly Wiggly being known as the "emergency stops only" store around Genoa - Butera Market took over and it's a brand new store!

Prices are very reasonable around the store - even for non-sale items. If you're on a budget or trying to feed a bunch of hungry kids - here's the place to shop. When you do the math, between gas mileage and cost of groceries, you will actually SAVE money coming here from other stores in the area.

Produce is fresh and routinely rotated. Deli, the same. Protip: get the fried chicken, it's good and an 8 piece deal is very cheap ($5.99) Unfortunately it doesn't come as a meal, but if you stick to the sale salads you can come out with a good meal for 3 for a very reasonable price.

A concern people had was meat. DON'T BUY THE RUMORS! It's fresh, it's very strictly controlled. And you also get a good bang for your buck - so much so that most other chains will not do ad-matching for Butera meat.

The employees and the vibe are excellent. Expect to be met with positivity and a willingness to help. Make Butera your grocery "home" - you won't regret it.

Great deals on meat and small town atmosphere. Staff is nice, prices are good and most of the time it is not super busy. Though since it is smaller it may not have all the things you are looking for. But more times than not it does.

Butera always has super specials. Good selection of fresh produce, a great assortment of Deli items including homemade salads and the fresh meat especially the Mexican style carne asada or pastor beautiful beautiful beautiful. You can shop there and walk out with eggs deli meats vegetables and fresh meat and you've only spent a little over $50 super savings great store

Not a huge store, but big enough to have most grocery items you'd want. Very pleasant staff in the meat section and at the check out area. Parking is ample.

Butera in Genoa. Hell I go there all the time for the freshest produce and the BEST deli. Last time I was in I could not find the a very specific and hearty soup. A gentleman who I believe is a manager named Colin, saw me looking quite puzzled and asked if I needed help and found me the correct soup! Now that’s what I call customer service! You go Butera Market!

Great staff!!!!!!... I had stoped in about 7pm and the meat department had already closed, I was making dinner that night .
Erica and Tonya went above and beyond to help me , they never even gave me a hard time they just rolled their sleeves up and went to work on helping me with my order and it wasn’t even their job or department!!! Thank you so much!!

I buy unique ethnic items and love the Meat department & weekly sales.I live far from both Butera where I shop,this location near Chicago I adjust my trip to go here@ home I RECIEVE SALE AD BY MAIL( GENOA store customer service put us on mailing list) 22miles away BUT MAKE SEVERAL TRIPS PER MONTH JUST TO SHOP THERE!
