Lodo Company

First time here in a decade, and had a really great meal here. The prices at first seemed a little high, but after the food came to the table it was WELL worth it for the quality, presentation, and size. Plus the atmosphere is nice. We had the spicy chicken sandwich, and the California club. Our server was great and friendly. The atmosphere is nice, and relaxing. Even the bathrooms were really clean and smelled good - that's rare for a restaurant bathroom. All around very clean and highly recommend. The side salad was also well worth a $1 upcharge. It was large and had tons of fresh veggies in it. We'll definitely be back!

First time trying out this restaurant. We walked in and not to busy and I was impressed by the tables and how clean it was. The waiter was at our table very quickly and the service was excellent. We were treated very well and the food was very good. I would give the food a 4 stars and that is good in my book. The beer was cold and overall the atmosphere was great. I will be back.

I really enjoyed getting lunch here. The food as great and I enjoyed my drink. The fish and chips were really good and I loved the fact that the fries were cooked to perfection. I would definitely come again.

It had been over a year since my last stop at Lodo Company; usually getting an order to go. I was greeted at door for seating preference. I told him I wanted to get a food to go order, have a beverage while waiting.
He directed me to the bar to place my order.
I asked him if I could take my drink outside to the small patio area. (Nice sunny afternoon it was). After I placed my order and received my drink I asked the bartender
Dion Fromman about a small card on the bar that referenced the Michigan COVID-19 Contact tracing. (I had down loaded the app to my phone months ago). Dion explained its purpose, and interjected most establishments have been participating with such communication; that being a choice for the customer. Its one of their ways in keeping community safe...if I did not see such posting in my next endeavor of "eating out", I should inquire.
I sat on the patio briefly, and a young lady (Kristen Schoder) brought my order out.
I asked her about the process of the barcode with link to Michigan Department of Health; she acknowledged she would walk me through it and we went back inside. Kristen held the small card at an angle so I could scan the bar code.

Information as my name and email address.

Masks required to enter: employees wearing masks. Bar stools sat long the bar for social distancing. Tables for seating up to 4 individuals also spaced.

Never a bad experience!! Always friendly, helpful and a perfect atmosphere for a fun guys night or a date night.

This was our first time in portage. We looked around for a dine in restaurants. Found this gem of a place. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was cozy. The service we received was exceptional. First time ever seeing bacon jam. We asked for a sample. They brought us out a sample and we loved the taste. So we ordered a burger with bacon jam. It was great. Upon paying. We asked if we could buy some to take home. Since we live more than an hour from portage. The server said yes.
This place is definitely worth the drive.

This was a delightful surprise. We spotted this place on our way to do some shopping and, my wife looking over the menu online, knew we had to stop on our way home. Our server was Kyla and she was just amazing. Erin had the ham and bacon Jam wrap and I did the build-a-burger, but we were both really taken with the chorizo puffs. And she had the tiramisu, which seems to have been divine from how happy she was. Overall this was a terrific little stop, and we will absolutely be back.

I eat it every Sunday with carrier out, and the food is delicious. The Buffalo Dry Rub and the Shrimp Tacos our favorites and only one server is always busy.
However, the one server works hard so we are satisfied. Thank you.

It's my 21st birthday! And this place has some amazing drinks! They have this cider that is incredible called Zombie Killer. Have to try it. Their food is really good too. They have some unique items as well as some normal but amazing meals. Their wings are pretty good and they also have decent calamari! The atmosphere here is pretty decent as well. For being in a strip mall type location, it seems like it may not be a true brick and mortar bar, but the moment you walk in, that all changes. It's wonderful. Please come here and have a wonderful time!

One of the best vegan menus I've seen wow the waitress was on point the food is on point one of my favorite bars great atmosphere good reasonable pricing on drinks and high quality food had a half order of Veggie Nachos 5 star spinach and artichoke dip 5 star tennesse Mule yum🤩🤩 strawberry Peach Sangria the wife loved. wine selection is good nothing but good vibes if you're ever in the portage area I suggest you stop in.

So, before last night I never heard of Lodo Company.

We ended up at the restaurant Lodo on Sunday because we were hungry and it pulled up on maps.

Well, we had a wonderful experience! We ordered a build your own burger, bacon bleu cheese… they season the meat and it was juicy! It was one of the better burgers I’ve had…

And… the bartender Chris made a freaking phenomenal blood Mary! PHE•Nom•ENAL!

We ended the meal with a carrot cake that rivals my moms. Which is saying a lot because my moms is amazing, like shred your own carrots amazing.

The price was reasonable, the service (Erin) was wonderful and the food delicious… we will definitely be back!!

I hosted my Husbands birthday in the private room and had over 50 people attend. All the appetizers I ordered were so good and a beautiful presentation. All the guests raved about the food and hidden gem of a room. Steve, Kristen and our waitress Korin were attentive and professional. Thank you for a great night!

I've eaten there a handful of times now, making sure I sample different items from the menu. So far I have been impressed every time, whether it be a signature entree, or a burger at lunch, its all great. you can tell care is given in the kitchen. Wait staff is on point and the dining area is very well kept. I have not been up to the bar yet, but I have ordered a few drinks made at the bar and they too have all been on point. If you're in Portage, MI try this place.

Ordered Mother’s Day dinner and it did not disappoint!! Not only were they on time and I didn’t have to wait for my curbside delivery, the prime rib, mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts were amazing!!! Thank you for a delicious meal!

My partner and I visited Lodo Company recently for their comedy night. It was a quality experience! We had the roasted cauliflower appetizer, Which was tastey. The staff was helpful finding us an unreserved seat at the bar. The facilities are up to date and well maintained.

Locally owned and the owner is always there to guarantee great food and service. They have so many good food options that I can't begin to list them. Go in a stranger and leave a friend.

I can't believe I've never been here! Great service, amazing atmosphere and delicious food! Drinks were my favorite part!

Love the Food! Staff is Amazing as well, always great service and I can't name a bad experience I've ever had there.
