Veni's Sweet Shop

An amazing craft chocalatier and I love their dark chocolate so much. You can buy a box and hand select which pieces you want for yourself or a gift. They have gift wrapping at the counter and seasonal wraps for the most recent upcoming holiday. 🎃

Awesome chocolate. Great service from people who care. I love the small town feel and the conversations that take place there from customers and staff, including me...lol

We visited Vali's today in the search for some salt water taffy for a friend of ours. The store smells amazing as soon as you walk in and the chocolates did not disappoint either! I tried the mocha, orange, and mint cream chocolates and loved all three of them. Sometimes filled chocolates can taste a bit "toothpastey" but the flavors in these were absolutely incredible and perfectly balanced. Their chocolate-covered orange peel is amazing too!
Highly recommend a stop by this lovely little store. We will be back for sure!

My grandparents used to bring me here when I was a kid more than 40 years ago and it brings me joy to know that it’s still there and making the same delicious candies that I remember!

The chocolates are so good! We first received them as a gift from a contractor, and we've been back so many times since. My only complaint is that certain holiday specialities aren't offered regularly, so I can't get my fix until they decide to make them again. 🥺

Take my family here once a month at least. Staff is so sweet. Chocolate is good and fairly priced.

Went to hunter ice festival, always stop at Veni's. Red wine chocolate truffles great flavor. My husband likes the mint melt aways.

This is THE place to go to satisfy your sweet tooth!!! Everything is fresh and delicious. There's something for everyone in there! The minute you walk in the front door you'll smell the awesomeness and the tastes are simply beyond words. Worth the drive from wherever you are to downtown Niles to experience Veni's.

Chocolate is amazing, stopped in last weekend and bought 6 pieces of fudge that tasted amazing, the only thing I noticed was that the fudge blocks did get pretty hard after a day or two. I just need to eat them faster next time!

Delighted to walk into this classic chocolate shop. The sights and smell make your mouth water! Terrific staff - patient, knowledgeable, and happy to be there even on the busiest of days.

I've been going to this place since I was a kid!! And that's been over 40+ years!!

The service is old school excellent. The quality is way above excellent. You can try samples. The selection is over the top. This is my go to gift giving shop. Everyone has loved this candy shop for longer than I have been alive. I would have given them 6 stars if I could.

The handmade artisan chocolates and candies at Veni's taste marvelous, and the cases are always full of tempting treats. A beautiful, historic shop with incredible chocolates and friendly staff, Veni's offers an experience that's reminiscent of a chocolate shop I remember visiting in Old Town Nice, France.
They offer sugar free options, nuts, candies (rock candy, taffy, licorice, and more), and of course chocolates! Dark, milk, and white chocolate creations are available in a wide variety of options, including truffles. Our favorites are the pecan turtles and toffee.
All items are clearly priced, and are also available to order online if you can't visit the shop in person!

Great place for old fashioned candy and new candy made the right way

Really good candy with a big variety for a small, local shop. Everything is made by hand and tastes delicious. Love their fudge and chocolate covered walnuts.
