Sagano Japanese Bistro & Steakhouse, Flint

Came here for lunch with my best friend and her kids. They have good food. Loved the soup and salad. Steak fried rice and the noodles were yummy. Would make another trip out here for some yummy food but next time I would love to try their sushi 🙂

Been coming here for years and I don't think I've ever had a bad experience.
It's a little on the pricey end, but you get considerably more food than a normal restaurant entree, plus of course there's entertainment!
Have I seen the volcano/ Choo-Choo train onion a hundred times? Yes.
Do I still want to see it when I visit?
Also yes. 🤣
Great fun for the whole family and oh...they have the best sushi in town as well.

Great place for dinner for a date night or family dinner. We had the crab rangoon for an appetizer. Delicious 😋. The chef came out cooked the rice, noodles, and vegetables on the grill. He did a little entertaining with fire and smoke rings. Balancing eggs and flipping his spatula. He cooked the meat last. Salmon, steak, shrimp, and chicken. Highly recommend 💚💯💯

They have the best fried rice I have ever had. We went early on a Sunday for my birthday right when they opened at 4:00. Almost no wait in line or hibachi chef was excellent food was wonderful service was on point.

Been coming here for a number of years. I enjoy not only the hibachi grill but I enjoy the sushi side as well. The whole hibachi experience is pretty cool. They have some talented staff. They put on a nice performance. I enjoy all their tricks and jokes. They put on a good show. I have been over to that side many times. I prefer to have lunch at the sushi 🍣 bar tho. I love sushi though. I could eat it ever day. We usually get a platter of sushi and then get tea and sake. It is always delicious. I have never had bad sushi from them ever. Their soup and salad is the best as well. Mmm 😋

Great food. So much food you will be stuffed and need 2 boxed on the way out the door. The food is cooked in front of you and is sooooo delicious. We absolutely love this place. The cooks make it fun for the kids too. They also have a great bar that makes the drinks 🍸 strong. I love the chicken, filet and shrimp meal. The noodles and veggies are cooked in front of you too and are off the chain. Heavenly. Ready to go back there now. The bathrooms, the seating area, waiting area and the bar area is always clean and fresh. The wait staff is very friendly and so are the cooks. Sometimes there is a wait but it is always worth it everytime. We love the food as much as the experience and show they put on everytime. Its easy to get to rite off of Linden Rd and easy to exit when you are fat and full and ready to head home. On my way.

Delish! The scallops were great. Love that the meals come with rice and noodles. The hibachi veggies are very good. Kind of a small place.. might have to wait a bit as they don’t take reservations.

Food is Delicious every time 😋 Our cook was hilarious and a Great time. 🤣My family all went for my daughters 20th Birthday, cause she Absolutely loves this Restaurant and this is her go to place every time. We enjoyed our dinner and had Great entertainment. The staff was wonderful and worked their buttons off cause they were short staffed. They took a picture 📸 of us because it was my daughters Birthday 🎂🥳What a nice Gesture 🖤❤ Love this place!

My family has been coming here for years, and we've always enjoyed it thoroughly. The food is great, the chefs are very entertaining, and while it's loud, it's part of the experience! I hope they don't change a thing!

Always delicious food I can barely walk when I get out of there and I'm taking home food for lunch the next day so much good food love this place

This place has amazing chef's that give you a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Food cooked in front of you with chef's that take time to entertain and talk with you. They have an amazing staff and great food. For those that don't want the stuff off the regular menu, they have sushi. Their sushi is great and the clear soup is delicious.

Food and service are excellent as always. They were pretty busy but we still got our table for 10 on time.

Chef was amazing and so was the service! Our drinks never even got to the halfway point before someone would come and refill them. And of course as always…food was delicious! My 5 year old son that is autistic and won’t even eat any of the food still absolutely LOVES going there for the entertainment of the hibachi experience! He screams and belly laughs and gets so excited and the entire restaurant ends up in a roar of laughter from it <3 Highly Recommend!!!

Great experience! Yum yum sauce & miso soup was very tasty. Such a great place full of flavor. You will not be disappointed. Fast service and I also got a sushi roll + edamame outside of the hibachi.

I love this restaurant. The food is amazing. I will say this went in on a Thursday and was told it would be a 30 minute wait but was more like an hour. The food was worth it.

A great unique place to have lunch or dinner for a special event or date. My kids also love eating here because of all the dinner entertainment. The food is always delicious!

Have not been on the sushi side in a while. Our hostess/waitress was very attentive , polite and friendly. Our meals were prepared fabulously. The mackerel was fresh, had a Flint roll, a katsudon bowl and lunch bento. Then we each tried a flavor of the Japanese ice cream. We all like the red bean, ginger was good the grren tea only one person liked. All in all a very pleasant and nice experience.

Super fun time, great food. My wife and I felt like we were splurging, steak, scallops, appetizers, drinks. Awesome entertainment. Then the bill was WAY less than expected! Definitely recommend!

Our family went to this location for our anniversary today and the service was outstanding! They were friendly, fast and kept our drinks topped off for our entire visit! The best experience we have had out to eat in a while! Well done!
