Taboon Middle Eastern Cuisine

Delicious food, and good customer service. This was my first time there, and I'll definitely be back. I got the chicken shawarma lunch plate, mixed vegetables, salad, bread and toum, and baklava ...yummy!

Excellent!! Finding quality middle eastern food in the area is difficult but I’ve found a new favorite! The gallaba is FANTASTIC. They were a bit short staffed so it took a little while for my food to come out but it was WELL worth the wait. All the staff were super nice and accommodating and even asked if I would like anything to drink while I waited for my food. I will be a new regular here.

This was my first time at Taboon but it certainly won't be my last! Every bite of food was fresh flavorful and delicious! We had fresh squeezed juice that was incredible. We were there for lunch and had appetizers (chicken saute and spinach pies) and fatoosh salad. Our service was excellent and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I can't hardly wait to try more dinners at Taboon!

I wish that I had gone well before tonight. Such good food and staff. Carmel was so nice to talk to. Bread, hummus, garlic sauce, lentil soup, and my falafel sandwich were all delicious. Great place.

This was our first time back in a while and Jackie was an excellent server. She is the reason for the 5 star review. & We always love the garlic spread.

OMG Absolutely the best lamb chops I've ever had. Totally worth the price. You can choose between 3 chops or 5 chops. If you get the 3 chops, you'll be upset that you didn't choose the 5. Great fresh bread and soooo yummy garlic paste. The fatoosh salad is amazing! We been to all the Taboons in the area, this is the best.

The food and staff are outstanding with generous portions, reasonable prices and good people. They're a great local business that I will happily support.

Taboon is one of Flint's hidden gems. Always eat here when I'm in town, it's a can't miss! So fresh and tasty. I forgot the name of my dish but it was chicken in lemon and herb sauce, delicious 😋 Only 1 waiter working on a Friday night, he was rocking it! Thank you for the amazing dinner and experience

Last weekend, a group of 10 of us showed up right before dinner rush without calling ahead. So sorry! But the ladies there took amazing care of us and the food was delicious. Thanks for everything.

Everything was great! The food was fresh and very tasty, the service was excellent. I don't eat meat and the selection was good my son ordered some type of meat and loved it, he lives close by and said he'd definitely go back. Thanks for a great lunch!

We were in Flint specifically to meet friends at Taboon. It was our first visit to Taboon. The menu, atmosphere, location, food and service were outstanding. I would rate the food as the best Middle Eastern food that I have had in the past 10 years, and that include many restaurants in many different places. The freshly-baked pita bread, the declicious fresh salad and the excellent falafel sandwich will bring me back when I am next in Flint. There are many items on the menu that I would like to try. This restaurant is very close to the I-75, and it is along the Miller Road corridor.

Excellent food, excellent service. The fresh pita and garlic sauce is to die for.

Authentic Middle East food. Large portions make sure you are full when you leave. The wood fire oven keeps you warm and your nose happy. We had continuous fresh from the oven pitas.

My brother and I used to go to the Taboon location in Hartland regularly before it closed. We were THRILLED to have the opportunity eat the fabulous food at a different location and it did not disappoint! So tasty and so much food for such a reasonable price! Our server was GREAT too! She checked back with us several times to see if we needed anything else and because we had leftovers, she brought us everything we needed to pack things up -- even little containers for the garlic sauce and hummus -- and a separate bag for the bread without us even asking for those separate things. And she offered a to go cup for my water refill with lemon. It's rare to see a place going the extra mile (understandably) with so much short staffing but it made our dining experience extra enjoyable. We'll definitely be back again when we're in the area. I don't write reviews often but this exceeded our expectations so I wanted to make sure that I took the time to do it. Thank you!

Their bread and garlic sauce are to die for!!!! Worth a trip just for this. You'll thank me later! We had eaten over half of the basket of bread before I thought about taking a picture.

I had to convince my boyfriend to try this place as he was unsure if he'd like Lebanese cuisine. He loved it!! We got the mixed grill for two. The rice is mainly what I wanted. It was so good. I loved the chicken shwarma, too. Overall, it was a great experience.

Wonderful place with wonderful food and staff! The new bar is a nice added bonus. I can’t wait to come back and see the new bread oven up and running.
