The opportunity to handpick our teacups from the elegant china cabinet added a personalized touch to our afternoon ritual. As we settled in, a complimentary pot of Formosa Oolong tea greeted us, its delicate notes swirling with promise.

Our gastronomic voyage commenced with the comforting embrace of lentil soup, paving the way for a feast of flavors to come. From the Beef Wellinglette to the Lemon Basil Mousse, each dish showcased meticulous craftsmanship and a harmonious blend of ingredients.

The English Scones, adorned with clotted cream and jam, elicited nostalgic delight, while the ethereal Lemon Basil Mousse left an indelible mark on our palates. Accompanied by an array of teas, each sip was a journey of discovery, from the light and rich White Grape tea to the smooth indulgence of Orange Cookie.

Such a cute place! There is local art on the walls and all different kinds of tea sets. We got to choose our own teacup that spoke to us and then there is a huge, extensive list of teas to choose from. We did the high tea lunch which came with 2 pots of tea each and then a tea tray of savories, sandwiches, scones and sweets! The scones were absolutely the best part of the tray - delicious and served warm! I wasn't convinced I'd leave full but we definitely got more than enough I was satisfied. And they have a whole other side menu of all kinds of goodies! We got to chat with one of the pastry chefs who was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job, we liked her dessert best! Worth a drive out to Niles for a fun afternoon date and tea party 💜. 10/10 would go back!

My friends and I had an absolutely wonderful experience here. Food was DELICIOUS and all made from scratch! The selection of teas was so diverse and each one was a hit. All our servers were so kind that they honestly felt like good friends by the end of the experience. I will 100% be returning as soon as possible.

Apothica is a gem of the Niles downtown strip. Everyone who works there that I've met so far is friendly and welcoming. The vibe of the establishment is inviting and inclusive. Extensive variety of loose leaf teas and a monthly changing menu mean you'll always find something new to try! Freshly baked goods daily as well. Stop in and give them a try!

Went with my sister and loved everything. I had the Blood Orange Tea, and she had the Indigo Punch. We weren't planning on getting food, but after seeing the menu, we decided to try some scones and the baked Brie. Our server recommended the butterscotch scone with the blueberry and lavender jam. I thought it was a little weird sounding but took their advice, and it was delicious! My sister said she loved the brie (I didn't try it).

When we were on our way out, we decided to stop and get so tea to make at home. At the front, we received just as good of customer service as we did from our server. I took home a few different teas to try to hold me over until I can return.

I absolutely LOVE this store! I am hooked! Me and my husband have gotten into handmade loose leaf teas and this is the BEST place in the area to get it! They have an ENORMOUS variety of loose leaf tea to choose from. The staff are all incredibly knowledgeable about the tea. And their prices are UNBEATABLE! They are so so affordable! The tea quality is sl far superior to any other tea in the area! I highly recommend stopping in. The atmosphere here is also extremely neat!

my mother took me for my birthday and I've made it a point to bring friends and family at least once a month since. i have loved a vast majority of the food I've tried and i love the tea so much! everyone I've brought has had a great time and are always ready to make plans to come again. seriously worth your time!

Afternoon tea was a delightful experience. Tea service was amicable and refreshing. Picking out a tea cup from the cabinet was so much fun! Every morsel of food was delicious. The clotted cream was so tasty on the warm scones. The tea selection is amazing and one can easily enjoy a pot or two or more because there is such a variety. This is a lovely place to enjoy conversation and connect. Definitely will be visiting again. Thank you to the staff, the chef's, the tea masters and owner's for such a darling place to shop and enjoy.

Absolute wonderful space for a birthday or other special event. I love coming here for a relaxing afternoon. Bringing home teas until next visit is a plus.

If you love tea this is a great place to go whether it is to have the full experience of high tea, sit and have a small luncheon, a scone and tea, or even just to buy some loose leaf tea. The steam punk atmosphere just makes it that much more fun!

If I could give this place more than five stars, I would. The people here are so friendly and provide excellent service, always going above and beyond to make sure we have a good experience. There is a wide range of interesting teas, as well as incredible hot chocolate (pictured) and matcha lattes. The baked goods are delicious, and we greatly enjoyed the meal provided in this month's afternoon tea menu (pictured). I wasn't much of a tea drinker before I started coming here, and they completely changed my mind. I am always excited to come back and try something new.

We had a wonderful time when we stopped by Apothica recently. The shop itself is adorable! They have a wide ranging tea selection, which you can buy either to have in the shop or take home in bulk. The food was delicious - the sausage roll (I think) and the Scotch eggs were a favorite. The staff is top notch. We were just there yesterday and we're already looking forward to our next visit.

This was my first visit and it was even more lovely than expected! Even though Apothica was in the middle of a Sunday afternoon rush, the service was exceptional. Everything was thoroughly explained and all of our amateur questions were answered. Of course, the tea was amazing, but so was the food. Be sure to try the Scotch Egg (it's worth the 25 mins wait!) and, the Chestnut Tamarind soup. I also took home a few of the beautiful, locally handmade items (tea pot & steeper and honey) from the gift area. All around, it was a great experience and I'll definitely be back soon!

Absolutely love this place! We've been for afternoon tea with a large group and just lunch for 2. The apothecary tea shop vibes are on point. Pick your own teacup and enjoy some amazing food and tea. We always end up bringing home some loose leaf and they have some awesome locally made knick knacks.

My daughter and I had a baby shower for my youngest daughter on 10/09/2022. It was better than expected, more perfect than we could have dreamed of. The set up and food/beverages were all exquisitely put together/created by the staff at Apothica. The price for the space, food and staff was more than reasonable. I would highly recommend treating your family and friends to this experience.

We had two little girls with us and they went above and beyond to make the tea party special for them. They made special penny jammers for the little girls and at the end they surprised them with tiaras to wear and take home. Our server was excellent and so kind to the girls and the food was delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough! Please treat yourself and book a high tea at Apothica.

I've been to Apothica Teas three times now, and have always had a wonderful experience. All of the employees are friendly and helpful. Tonight, Nathan was very helpful in offering suggestions when the store was out of my first choice selection. The suggestions he offered were great, and he was very patient in explaining everything. Would recommend this location for anyone who wants a unique and relaxing experience in Niles.

Even though busy and short staffed, we were not kept waiting. Great Teas, and great service. Loved the local artists items for sale and on display. Nice Steampunk vibes. Will happily return.

Apothica Teas was a teasure I stumbled upon while on Niles. This is the only place I get my teas. Staff is super friendly and helpful! I appreciate that they even ship! I have friends and family on the West Coast who love their tea now, too! It's always fresh and delicious! I'm excited to try the lemon curd they make next time.
