Amazing pizza! Picked our pepperoni pizza up 20 mins ago, and we are so full and satisfied with our meal! The best pizza we have had in the UP so far, will be back for sure . Staff is amazing as well. Keep up the great work!

Irene’s pizza met my high expectations! The pizza was good, lots of toppings, plenty of cheese, and crust was perfect. The employees also were good sports for taking some ribbing from me!

Pizza here is delicious! Thin crust loaded with toppings and cheese. When we were there (2023) the dining room was closed but we could do carry out.

🥴 UPDATE. NOT the best pizza ever anymore. They have changed crust and sauce . Still ok,but nothing to rave about. Sad. Been coming here for nearly 30 years.

My wife and I were in the area for a few days and heard nothing but good things about the pizza. So naturally we had to try it and it was fantastic!! Definitely believe the hype.

I’m from Ohio and travel a decent amount. Always on the look out for a good pizza. Irene’s did not disappoint!! It came in a paper bag with a cardboard base. Which at first I thought would provide a challenge for both transport and initial removal when I arrived at my dining location. However it did not.

Super amazing place love the pizza every time it’s always steaming hot like so hot you’ll get burnt if you eat it right away without letting it sit otherwise no complaints, I haven’t eaten inside in a while but last time I did it was pretty clean

Excellent pizza place, with interesting toppings and reasonable prices. If you're going to be traveling with your pizza, make sure you ask for a box not a bag.

Take it from a foodie (fat guy) when I say Irene's has the best local pizza! While I do spread my business around locally, Irene's is the take-out dinner spot I frequent most. While known for their pizza, they also have excellent sandwiches, bread sticks, and BBQ pizza. If you are visiting our area do yourself a favor and give Irene's a try. Don't be surprised by a 30 minute wait for food as they are always busy. Well worth the wait!

Best pizza ever! My family loves their pizza, and Irene's is the favorite! Watching the pizza artists create is amazing, they really know what they're doing and you can always expect the same awesome service and exceptional taste, every time!

Be careful when you get your pizza... it's no "hot and ready" it is HOT and your tongue and roof of your mouth will thank you... DEFINITELY OUR FAMILY'S FAVORITE!! Get the paintshop special!!! Shrimp is surprisingly awesome on pizza!!

Great tasting pizza that's a little different from the other area's around. It's very busy so you need to order ahead of time if possible.

The homemade breadsticks are the best. Pizza is really good and worth the price. The sauce, the Crust, the cheese, all great tasting and in perfect ratios.

I moved here from Chicago. I have had the pizza in L'anse and it is not bad for a pizza from Michigan. My friend Max Revis told me about Irene's and how awesome the pizza was. I was a skeptic after trying many in the area. All I can say is "if your used to Chicago style pizza, this is your place do not look any place else" I mean I am serious about this pizza. I ordered the House special and will continue to eat here because it is THE BEST. I just moved here from a place where food has a festival in late summer called the taste of Chicago. This pizza could give the guys that always win a run for their money. I am a regular customer from now on. I saw another review and the price was mentioned. You know what, because I am so far from home and this brings me back there I am ok with it being a few bucks more.

Really good pizza here. I recommend the thin crust. Called in for pickup and it was ready in 25 minutes. The large is a good size for two hungry people.
