Great Lakes Grinders & Restaurant

I'm a fan of less fancy and more wholesome, tasty lunches, and this fit the bill really well. I recommend eating here if you have a little bit of time, though it wasn't a long wait either. The inside was clean and I was greeted right away.

The grinders are what made me stop in, and I was very impressed with my Chicago style grinder. It was super tasty, not too greasy, and a 9" was plenty to fill me up at lunchtime.

Service was about 11 minutes and i would recommend it to anyone who likes grinders! I hear the burgers are good, and I'll try one of those next time.

Very nice and quiet place to eat. Me and my husband got the Friday special which is perch basket and also cod baskets. Delicious. 😋✨

Their goal is to have satisfied customers. I forgot to ask for onions in my hash browns. They grilled up some onions so I could mix them with the hash browns. No charge. Great team of employees.

I ordered the Italian grinder for pick up. Great price, smooth transaction, friendly staff, good sandwich.

These days, even McDonald's is expensive. Here you get a home cooked meal and they keep their prices as low as possible. They outbeat McDonald's and other places. Thank you to the girls who work there for always being so nice. My son and I love going there! 🤗

Been going there since open. Food used to be a 50-50 chance (like most food in Muskegon that isn't $$).... But it's been consistently good last year or so..

Loved the Reuben. Nice lean corned beef. Big enough for2 meals. The different varieties of pizza's are out of this world. Beats Scribs hands down and priced well within most people's budget. On Wednesday they have senior discount. Highly recommend it.

The food is delicious and the staff is welcoming and very friendly. An absolute must if your hungry! I've tried a few different things on the menu now and will keep going there whenever I am in town.

Friendly staff and yummy food

My family moved to Muskegon earlier this year and just tried Great Lakes Grinders for the first time and it was excellent! I wish we would have tried it sooner. I absolutely love wet burritos and try them where ever I go. The wet burrito I had totoday was the best I've ever had! They are a bit smaller than most restaurants but I'm stuffed and the prices are beyond great. It is definitely a place we will be ordering from much more. Great job!

Absolutely lovely atmosphere. Very cozy place. Buy they don't have any fruit dishes.

Was good food nice people

My friend and I stopped in while heading up north this past fourth of July weekend. The waitress was friendly with good suggestions and the chicken and bacon ranch grinder was excellent. Highly recommend!

Food is great and the price is even better. Great place to eat and service is good. Can't really say anything bad about this place.

Very nice place. Friendly staff and great food. I had the "house favorite" Italian grinder with fries. Great bread, plenty of yummy toppings and of course the CHEESE 🤩

Absolutely love this place. I work at the BP down the road and we order stuffed hash browns for breakfast all the time. My husband is obsessed with the stuffed hash browns now. Way better than Papa bears.
