Whenever I get a chance I stop in to look at books, buy a card, just enjoy the energy!
What a treat to go to a charming book store with an excellent selection!
There is a large toy section but I didn't look at it.
Lots of cards and they do have tissue paper and wrapping paper.

We have always been lovers of book stores especially really great ones. Little Village, we are so in love with you!! The variety of books is excellent. The staff is so happy to place a special order if they do not have your request in stock. For Christmas we purchased over 90% of our son's gifts here. Thank you for the great selection of young reader books, legos, STEM activity sets, puzzles, games and sooooo much more!! Plus the bonus points for shopping really do add up! Keep up the greatness!! Awesome toy and bookstore. The heart of Littleton definitely. Great atmosphere always clean and fully stocked and always new merchandise. Great displays. Also where's waldo books. Lol no hardcover ones unfortunately. Brings back nostalgia definitely with some of the great items they have. Check it out if your in town. It's a must just as much as chutters is.

A lovely bookstore and toy store! Will definitely visit again! The also have a piano out front that people of all ages were playing!

So many fun books and games! I particularly enjoyed the classic board games. They also have an extensive collection of books on the local NH and White Mountains area, including guides on flora and fauna, trail maps, history books, guides on places of note (including quirky ones like haunted historical sites), road trip guides, and more. The owner was very kind and she had a beautiful goldendoodle that was sweet.

Neat little toy shop with a good book selection, prices were fair, staff were friendly. They had a wide variety of toys as well as books, and the store was laid out nicely. In a good spot in town so relatively easy to get to. There are also two floors both with good items. This is a neat stop and definitely worth a visit, highly recommend.

One of my favourite places to visit when I'm in New Hampshire! Amazing selection, beautiful layout and decor, great staff. I could spend hours there.

The Little Village Toy & Bookshop is one of the gems on Main Street in Littleton. It is a wonderful place to spend some time. There is a plentiful selection of children's books, games, toys, and puzzles. One can also find adult brain teasers, games, puzzles, and entertainment. For budding artists, there is a small selection of supplies for drawing, sketching, or painting.

Yes, there are books. Though you will not find an inventory as large as a Barnes and Noble, there is a good selection of books across a wide variety of genres. There is a little bit of everything. Of particular interest is the section on local hiking and outdoor activities. They also carry used books as well as cards and journals.

For the young at heart, it's hard to visit here and not find something worthwhile or some sort of amusement or entertainment that catches your eye.

On street parking is available on Main Street and there is additional free parking behind the store. To get to parking behind the store you cut down one of the side streets. There is also an entrance from the rear parking lot as long as you don't mind having to walk up a flight of stairs. The front entrance of the store is handicap accessible but the doors are not automatic.

Have been going there for decades whenever I am in the area. Over the years focus changes as do customer interests however I am always pleased with their stock. I buy cards there every year! Love the local artists offerings. Absolutely wonderful gifts for kids! The staff is very helpful. Be sure to stop in if you are in the area.

I lived in Littleton NH for 20 years and 2 years ago retired to Northern Portugal. I still contact Little Village 3-4 times a year to purchase gifts for my family in America continuing the tradition that I started whilst I lived in Littleton. The help and guidance face-to-face was amazing and I have found that to be the same remotely when I contact Katherine, Kayla or Clare via the website. Not only am I able to find just the right gift for the person and occasion but I get much help in that I'm given options from which to choose. It's as if I have a highly trained personal shopper at my disposal. Also, the gifts are always beautifully gift-wrapped and delivered timely to my family's homes in California, Virginia, New York and of course, New Hampshire. Great spot! Good selection of toys, stuffed animals, games, and books, but it is limited to an extent due to the medium size of the store.

So many great books and toys to choose from. My 3 kids each chose 2 toys since they did not have a local author's section for kids. My husband and I each chose books by local authors. Local authors who write about local history = ❤. I was hoping to find some books about local animals or the surrounding ecology for the kids but we settled on some adorable stuffed animals instead. You should defintley stop in and find something to take home from this shop as a way to remember your trip too. I hope the next time we venture out that way I can find local books for my kids too.

Fantastic selection of toys and books. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of fun that the store had. They had games, stuffies, and puppets too. My favorites were the fruit and vegetable stuffies. This is the perfect store to stop at if you need a gift for the hard to buy for kiddo or adult.

Great book store and more. Took my 11 year old nephew there and he found lots he was interested in and staff were very friendly and helpful

I got all of my Christmas shopping done here for the littles on my list (ages 2-12). Cute store with unique gift ideas for my nieces and nephews-I'm really excited for them to get these gifts now! Added bonus, they gift wrapped everything!! Very friendly and helpful staff. It was a truly special shopping experience. I even wished them Merry Christmas when I left and it isn't even Thanksgiving 😁

Awesome local toy/book store with a large selection of quality toys and books. Fun atmosphere, friendly staff, and inclusive environment. Great selection of local lore/literature and lots of cool science kits for the hard to buy for kiddo. We love it!

The staff here is absolutely wonderful. I could spend all day talking books and walking this store, and my daughter the toy side. This is absolutely a must go for lit and tabletop game lovers, and young kids alike and a truely great local business to support.
