Avid golfer here. I play all over SW Washington. This course used to be the course I booked when nothing else was available. Recently they have changed ownership and over the last year or so, this course has bounced back in a huge way.

Greens are impeccable. Fast and true. Fairways are in amazing condition for this time of year. They just re graveled the cart path throughout the course. They have updated and are continuing to make improvements on the tee boxes.

If you haven’t played Lewis River recently. Go check it out. It’s worth every penny.

Also the most affordable course around. Don’t think it will be that way for long.

I was invited to perform violin for wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at Lewis River Golf Course. It is very beautiful place to get married! I highly recommend it to all couples. The view is breathtaking and the stuff is very kind and friendly.🤍

First time at this course yesterday. Really impressed with the beauty and upkeep of the course. Apparently there's new ownership and reworked the greens. We were REALLY impressed with the greens!
I would say it was a really long course (650 yards at times!) And lacking creativity - but making up for it on the greens. Also impressed that with our rainy winter- not a bit of soggy- great job!
The restaurant was beautiful!!! And on the river with stunning views and great staff! We enjoyed that very much and look forward to returning for events and live music in the summer.
We left feeling like we had just discovered a total secret treasure. Thank you!

I love this course! It's a little bit expensive, but it's a nice course to walk and has a hole along the river, along with some other great views. It's in good shape, the back 9 is tough and so is the 600 yard par 5!

I didn't go to the golf course but I did go to the boat launch. This is a nice little location to launch a boat. It was not crowded when I was there, it was just a few of us going fishing on the river.

I was so happy to hear a couple of years ago, that the new owners were going to give Pro/Mgr Adam King a couple of years to restore the course to what it was, and to make it profitable.

When I played it last year, the turnaround was noticeable, but it still had quite a ways to go. I was out there this past Saturday, and I was amazed.

The improvement from year one to year two has been remarkable. The greens are back to the way they used to be. The clubhouse has been renovated, with new paint and all of the wood re-stained.

They have a new fleet of carts, and there's a new energy throughout the course and clubhouse. It's just so pleasing to see pride in ownership back at Lewis River.

I can't give enough praise to the new owners for their generous reinvestment, nor enough credit to the hard work that Adam, and the superintendent, crew, and entire staff have put in to make Lewis River one of the best golf experiences in this region.

If you haven't been there, make the trip to Woodland, and go see how beautiful it is.

New ownership of Lewis River Golf Course has improved the course immensely! Greens are in great shape. A few tee boxes are being reseeded. The onsite restaurant has very very good food and cocktails. Beautiful course with lots of shade for playing in hot weather yet it still manages to dry out pretty fast after a rain.

As a short term RV visitor to the area, Lewis River was recommended to me by a local during a short conversation. Glad our conversation included golf.

As a RV traveller, I play public golf courses all over the country, but it’s rare to find one the caliber of Lewis River and at a very reasonable rate. The scenery of this course is beautiful, it is well manicured, and the greens were in excellent shape. The greens are undulating and, on the day I played, extremely fast. I’m not a bad putter, but I suffered through five 3-putts (stay below the hole).

As a single who had never seen the course, I asked the Pro Shop Staff to pair me with someone who had played the course previously and they were more than willing to do so. Many thanks for that and I recommend other first timers do the same. You can hit driver a lot on this course, but you better be able to control it or the mature trees will make you pay.

I look forward to playing LRGC again when I’m back in the area and wouldn't hesitate to become a member if I lived in the area.

Great track and a ton of fun!

I've played a tournament for the firefighters of Cowlitz County 2 years in a row now here at this course. Pretty challenging for a weekender like myself, but, well Kept, pretty greens, well placed sand traps... some gray water holes. Love this place.

The food at the North Fork Grill is amazing!! I was a vendor at the golf course's holiday bazaar (The Homestead Farm) and I went back for seconds on their brisket quesadilla on day 2! The staff at the golf course was amazing throughout the weekend the bazaar! Gorgeous venue!

Pleased to play again at Lewis River. I can see the improvement in the grounds after playing on and off for the past several seasons. This was an excellent place to play, and I'm glad to see there's effort being made to regain its quality. Cameron at the front desk was engaging and sincere.

We appreciate the new staff! Cameron and the NEW girl at the front desk. Many thanks to them and making us feel like we were at a nice golf course and after playing golf there for almost ten years we feel like we can come back with no problems.
This course is beautiful and all I can say is that there is a positive change and I can't wait to come back and play.!

Honestly its a tough course. Fairways are narrow and lined with large trees. Even when you do land on the fairway chances are you're still going to have a tough lie. A couple of the greens right now appear to be having major issues and at certain areas aren't playable. That said the pace seems to move along here and the course is in a beautiful area and the facility is very high end. One of my favorite courses around.

Sitting outside by the river is a treat on a nice day. Menu isn't massive but quality of food is good.
