We recently had our 17 year old floors refinished. Higgins did the installation when our house was built, and only needed refinishing due to damage from a refrigerator delivery. From start to finish the staff was easy to work with and very accommodating. The work was done exactly as planned, neatly and efficiently. Our cleanup was minimal. We are extremely happy with a job very well done. We think these photos speak for the quality of work.

Our experience with Higgins Flooring was seamless from start to finish. On our initial visit we met with Cindi . We were impressed with her in-depth knowledge of flooring as well as her professionalism. She was patient with us taking time to learn our flooring preferences. Next, flooring installation and finish, which was done to perfection as was evidence by their excellent workmanship and attention to detail. This is often difficult to find in today's world. Higgins delivered this level of workmanship and in a timely manner. They are an outstanding company to do business with and deeply appreciated.

Higgins did our family room, living room, dining room, and hallway and did a fantastic job. We went with the red oak and the floors look great. Jason and the crew were so easy to work with, everything was perfectly clean when they finished and we would certainly recommend them to anyone who wants new flooring. We are so happy the way things came out.

I just want to say that this company did an AMAZING job our our old pine flooring in our 1850 Greek Revival. Only wish they were lead certified to do the other flooring.

We just had Higgins install new hardwood cherry floors in our house and we couldn't be happier. We just had Higgins install new wood floors in our family room. And then refinish and stain four other rooms as well as a large stair case. Their work was Fabulous!! They took time with us before the job up at their showroom in Rochester as we had many color stains to pick from. Dean was very helpful and patient with us during the whole process. Often I would call the store and speak to Ryan with questions, and he was well was very helpful and quick to return all my calls. The fella that layed the wood around our fireplace also did an impeccable job, as he had to marry up the wood to the brick that was laying on the hearth. truly a beautiful job. Higgins was recommended by a close friend who is a realtor in the Seacoast. said they were the best around. and she was right! we couldn't be more pleased! thank you all so much!!

From the first phone call, to the estimate, to the scheduling and finally to the installation... Higgins was a top notch experience. Everyone there is professional, friendly, and allowed me to ask all of my questions while they patiently answered each one. Above all, I want to sing the praises of Adrian, our installer. He was so professional, polite, considerate, careful, and talented! I can't say enough about him. Adrian became a favorite of my whole family. What a nice guy, and how amazing my floor are. Exceptional service, quality, and professionalism! The work was completed when originally scheduled and our floors came out great! We had them remove our tired carpet and install Hickory flooring in our entire upstairs. I would highly recommend using them for your wood flooring project!

Every aspect of my experience with Higgins Wood Floors was exceptional. Bob Higgins came to my house to survey the job- replacing carpet in the Master Bedroom and stairs and redoing the all of the hardwood floors. I then received a detailed estimate for every phase of the operation, along with a timetable for each phase. The individuals and/or teams showed up on time, did the appropiate work and left everything neat and clean. The job was completed on time for the exact cost and looks great. I would recommend Higgins for any job. Everyone from the owners to the employees exceeds expectations in delivering a great service.

We are very pleased with our absolutely beautiful new Oak Hardwood Floors in the Hallway, Den & Living Room. Prior to the installation, all of the options were explained to us in detail, & all of our questions were answered. The installer Jason is very detail orientated & very skilled at installing the floor around our circular hearth, which was a time consuming task, as well as the other two rooms & two closets. As our home is a log cabin, the Living Room was always dark when we had carpet. The new floors have really brightened up our home, added a warmer atmosphere & increased the value substantially! We have received many compliments from friends & family, & we would highly recommend HIGGINS WOOD FLOORS INC. to anyone who is considering installing new wood flooring!

Higgins told us that it would take two or maybe even three days to complete the job (3rd day was a buffer). When we came home to find everything was finished in one day, we were pleasantly surprised! Apparently they finished early on another job and sent one of the guys to our house to help finish up early.

I have never written a review in my life. But the quality of entire company inspired be do it. From the show room, to the sales people, the person who quoted the job, to people I talked to on the phone, the billing, to the installer, great job!! If you are looking to install a floor, look no further than this web site. They were recommended to me by a local builder, and he was right. I also looked at the reviewer that gave them a 1 star, I had to laugh too. :-)

I wanted to make a comment, which I do rarely, about this company. They are first class company and put their name behind their products.

I had purchased a large quantity of product from them. They handled a questionable return very professionally, which most companies would not have.

I would highly recommend this firm. My biggest mistake was not hiring them to install the product.

We knocked down a wall in our Kennebunk, Maine renovation. Higgins had to lay a new oak floor in the kitchen, and "weave" it into the existing wood floor from 1962 in the living room. After sanding, you simply cannot tell where the old floor starts and the new floor begins. It looks awesome, and Higgins has made our two rooms into one room. Really a great job, and scheduling was not a problem.

Higgins Wood Floors is a 6 star company.. Couldn't be more pleased with their work and with the relationship they establish with their customers. They are on my "A" list..
