What a fabulous location with beautiful scenery. The check in was a breeze and the staff were kind. The view spaces by the river were exceptional for watching the large ships traveling between the river and the ocean. Large open space for games and fun, a trail along with beach walking made this a beautiful location. Just 40 minutes from Cape Disappointment for a ride on the paved trail all the way to Long Beach. It’s a five star all the way.

We love Vista Park and probably camp here 2 or 3 times a year. Sites are nice and you get big ships close to the shore as that's where the deep water channel is.
Bathrooms are clean and they will do anything to make your stay more enjoyable.

Beautiful RV park right on the Columbia River. Can watch the massive ships cruise down the river. Take in some amazing sunsets. Camp host very pleasant and helpful, same for front office staff. Campsite was roomy and clean. Plan to book another trip soon!

My wife's and I favorite camping spot and the employees that work there are amazing as well. Good camp host as well. Always checking if we need anything or just to chit chat. Also pet friendly even for our "lap dog" pit bull. Having the Columbia River right there is a plus as well.

This is a very beautiful park! I love to go here to watch the sunset, fly kites, and fly my drone. The views of the Columbia River are awesome! Often you can watch the ships go down the river which is fun to see. Just stay away from the water when they do! The beach is fun to walk along, and if you want to hike a short hard trail, there is one. It's a bit muddy sometimes, and at one part you have to climb a rope to get up a steep hill. I wouldn't suggest taking it if you don't like to get dirty, aren't in shape, and aren't properly dressed for it. People can camp at the park here. I have not, but I've heard it's nice. The restrooms are pretty good. A few times I've come here, and the restrooms weren't very clean, but for the most part they do a good job at keeping them nice. There is nice play equipment for the kids. Just be careful when walking in the grassy areas - there are some very poky stickers out there.

My absolute favorite place to camp. We love staying in the yurts which easily accommodate our family of 6 plus our dog! Our favorite is yurt 5. Its a 20 foot yurt and has the most privacy! Amazing scenery. The river is beautiful and I love seeing the big ships. Check out the trail down to Pebble Beach!!

Nice county park with campground and day use area on the Columbia river. Good sized sandy beach with lots of room for the kids to play. The beach is very kid-friendly during the summer for water play and swimming. There are good kayaking opportunities accessible from this park.

Beautiful park.
Probably the BEST spot on the Columbia to watch ships and boats as the dredged shipping channel is really close to the shore.
Every vessel imaginable from barges to giant auto and ocean bound cargo ships can be seen.
There is also a big sandy beach that's perfect for sunbathing and swimming.
On a clear day, you can see as far as Tongue Point in Astoria.

The reviews are accurate. This is a very nice RV/Campground. The Hosts were super friendly and delivered our firewood. The bathrooms were very clean. Based on a previous review I was nervous our campsite would be out in the open, but we had a great spot, T3, under a canopy of trees, with views of big boats passing by. There is potable water, but you have to look for it/ask about it. We'll go back. The campsites are close together, but this didn't pose a problem for us. And sound travels very easily around the park - but everyone obeyed quiet hours. The best part is that the sandy beach was literally 40 ft away, being this close also made it a rather windy spot - so FYI, there's less windy sites closer in.

Beautiful campground. It was very well kept, right on the river, but not windy. Restrooms if you need it. Camp hosts are very much around, ensuring this place stays nice and respectful, but they do not bother you or make you feel your being watched. We loved this place and are telling everyone we know and will definitely be back.

Vista park is absolutely gorgeous! I can't seem to get over the breathtaking views and they have everything you could want in a campground. Ive never stayed in the yurts but my daughter has and she just adored them!

This last summer was the first time we have ever heard of this awesome little camping spot. It is a very nice park with a kind of private beach right on the Columbia. Our kids really enjoyed flying kites and waving at all the ships that go by! We will definitely be going back!

What a nice find! Friendly hosts let us explore this idyllic setting. There are all types of sites, from tent to full hook-up. Yurts and tepees are available for rent as well. Nicely maintained property and private beach on the river. Great place for family, or get-away time.

Excellent park. Enjoyed all the amenities and really ejoyed the shipping lanes on the Columbia River. Will most definitely return. It's a nugget. The Washington State Parks have priced themselves out of most retirees pockets so nice parks like this get our business for sure.

We visited at sunset on 6 March. The frogs were croaking loudly from the ponds, the gulls were saying good night to the day, a grain ship cruised past, leaving a noisy wake. I look forward to coming back for a long walk on the beach, and a picnic!
