Houston's Trail's End Restaurant

I stopped in one day for the first time and enjoyed their double cheeseburger with house fries. Today I stopped in because I didn’t have room for pie last time. I love a good coconut cream, and this one did not disappoint. This in-house-made pie is custardy with lots of whipped cream and made with actual shredded coconut throughout. The crust was so flaky. I took this one to go up 89 near Hog Canyon to enjoy. So my last chance to try the chocolate cream pie before they close for the 2023 season. It too is made in house as well. So good 🫶🏼. For a visit both short and sweet, thank you for the good food and pie.

Had the shrimp bowl. It was so good I recommended it to another diner. Liked the decor and subtle country western music in the background. French dip sandwich was a hit with the hubby.

Pick them because of their good Google reviews. Nicely laid out restaurant lots of Western art on the walls.

Dinner comes with some delicious hearty dinner rolls. If you do the side salad or the mashed potatoes make sure you get the salad deluxe or the potatoes loaded for the additional cost they were delicious! The country fried steak had delicious gravy. Portions were large. The guy across from me got a porterhouse steak and it was beautiful.

Would recommend to anyone coming through town.

Amazing place that really felt comfortable. Dropped in after hiking around the surrounding area and needed food quick. The longest part was trying to decide what to order. Once ordered, the food came extremely fast. We were shocked when it came out. The sandwich wraps we chose were succulent and scrumptious. The chicken was tender and seasoned well. The fries were beer-battered and wonderfully crunchy. Really enjoyable. The service was friendly and warm and very attentive.

From the western atmosphere to the great food you will not be disappointed our waitress was polite and friendly making recommendations and the food was excellent my favorite was the rolls that tasted like your grandma made them

While in Kenab for two nights we had breakfast here twice and really enjoyed it.

The ladies were very helpful with suggestions

The food was great, portion were perfect for my wife and I.

They mentioned a pot roast for dinner, mighy have to eat here on our last night.

Stopped in on our way to the Grand Canyon- delicious flank steak sandwiches and garlic butter shrimp bowl. The mashed potatoes were superb.

Wow!!!! The food here is absolutely fantastic! Service was great. THE best pie we’re ever had!!! U must get some pie! If ur hungry, look no further!!

Comfort food perfection. The Philly Cheesteak sandwich with aujus was the most delicious, and flavorful sandwich I've ever had. The chicken fried chicken was tender and the mashed potatoes were definitely homemade and so good. The fries were crispy, and the pie at the end was the *very rich* sweet ending to a great meal that was priced pretty fairly for what you get. If we are ever back in small town Kanab, we will stop here!

I was very impressed, the staff are friendly and attentive. The environment is inviting and home like. I feel like I came to my grandma's house and she made me a home cooked meal.

I had the ribs and the chicken fried steak definitely the best. All the food was made in house with out taking any shortcut.

We ate there twice and would definitely come back when in the area. Between our two visits we had a taco salad, nachos, cheeseburger & steak. Everything was great, accurately customized & fresh. Cream pies is a must have. Atmosphere was pleasant & interaction with hostess & waitresses easy. Everyone was courteous, professional & service was efficient. We wanted to come back for the third time while in town, but it was Sunday & they were closed.

Great place to eat for sure. I had the Ranch Burger X2 no bun. Staff was friendly. Clientele seemed very local (which is a good sign in my opinion). Served just as I needed and was FAST. Was moist and delicious as much as any burger I have had in the past. Decor is fitting and price was right.

We stopped in on a whim and it is a great place. We were seated immediately and the service was great. We got a non menu special, Navajo taco and also got chicken fried steak with fries. It's good stuff.

The food , price and service was good. The rolls were good, doughy and hot. The chicken fried steak was better than the chicken fried chicken. The chicken alfredo was good but a little rich unless you are sharing. Pecan pie a la mode was delicious.

The food was amazing. We got the turkey sandwich and the gravy was outstanding. Everything we had there was just delicious to be in fact on our way back through from Bryce Canyon. We stopped again to have lunch on our way back.

Outstanding food and service. They did forgot to bring my side dish but everything else was delicious. Very reasonably priced which was quite a surprise.

This is the best food we've had thus far while visiting Kanab. Their chicken fried steak is great. The shrimp and broccoli Alfredo was great as well!

The Mac and cheese is amazing and the chicken fried steak is so good it will make you want to slap your mamma! The Banna Veeam pie is good I'm a Pecan guy and there's is really good!
