Sprague Brook County Park

Maybe the coolest County park I have ever been too. So much to do - so much fun. Spent a lot of time here as a kid growing up - fantastic memories of this place. Hot days in the summer included a creek hike - and there are plenty of pools to sit in and cool off. The parks topology has in interesting chasm/ravine that rips through the center of the park and should be seen from several of the main trails. The place has a mountainous feel and has some of the best hiking around. Winters can feel like
Alaska with extreme cold and snow that produces dead silence.

Love this place, best kept secret in Erie County. If you are oozing for a clean quiet place to camp this is it.

The hiking trails weren't too difficult even for a very non-athletic person like me. If I can finish it, anyone can. Even a five year old kid finished before me. We saw snakes, lots of frogs, mushrooms, spiders, and etc.Very fun to hike as a group here. It was my second time hiking here, and I had fun on both occasions. Would probably return for camping one day.

Trails are well maintained by the MTB group here. Users are also kind to, generally, stay off when they're wet, so there's minimal damage. Water crossings vary across the seasons.

Beautiful scenery. Nice trail, but watch out for tree roots! Also, keep track of which trail you turn down. They are all marked the same.

Fat biking the rim trail here in winter or summer is amazing. Great for hiking, xc skiing, snow shoeing, camping, fishing. Bring your friends and get outside!!

This is one of the nicest parks in WNY. Great for a hike, picnic, biking, camping, or anything else you want to do outdoors.

Beautiful park with newly needed paved roads! Has a wonderful wooded walking trail and bike trail.

The cross country ski trail is beautiful and relatively flat and easy to walk. We were directed there by Tom, a staff member of the park, after our original trail was blocked by a road closure. He went out if his way to go back to office and get us maps after we said it was our first time there. It was such a kind gesture and because if it we found our new favorite spot.

Great hiking trails, nice camping loops, fishing, several playgrounds, great place to go in the fall with views of Kissing Bridge. Maybe Erie County's most underrated park.

Great place to go for a creekwalk on a hot day! The cross-country ski trails are great for summer walks as well.

Lodge is located in the park, always open there's bathrooms and water in there great place 2 rent, for a great family reunions, baby showers, weddings, summer or winter, theres also a kitchen, with sink fridge and stove, very, very clean. Plenty of parking, next to tennis courts.

We've been coming here for over 25 years. It's a beautiful campground!

My family has been coming here for nearly 40+ years, and have camped in a variety of sites. We've camped on the top and bottom. The bottom sites are electric, and half the top sites are electric (no water hookup). The staff mainly keep to themselves but the ones I've encountered have been very kind.

There are multiple playgrounds and 3 ponds to fish in. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, picnic shelters, and multiple hiking trails. One of our favorite things to do is go down to the creek, and build rock dams to redirect the water through the large culvert pipes.

Quiet time is 11pm which people abide by most of the time. It's hit or miss but the park rangers and sheriff drive through almost nightly.

The bathrooms are relatively clean but the shower water pressure is lacking in some buildings.

Overall, it's a great place to spend time with family and relax on a camping trip.

I have been going camping here ever since I was a child and like always it is an excellent place to bring my family and a lot of their campsites are further from one another so it really helps with social distancing and I felt safe with my family being there I'm pretty sure that it will be the only camping destination I will ever go to, as a matter of fact I will be going again next Friday without the kids for a celebration. They have amenities like bathroom, shower, running water and you have a few options for camping. You can RV camp here or you can tent camp you also have the option of electric or non-electric sites. Overall an excellent place.

Been here about 5 times this year. I am new to mountain biking and other then my lungs and legs being able to not keep up this place is amazing. Great trail lots of fun and during middle of week sparsely populated. Highly recommend!

We camped here in our 5th wheel July 2020. Many of the sites are not gravel but they're very spacious with up to 50 amp for power. No water hookup as expected. The bathrooms are pretty clean. At this point during the pandemic the store is closed so you have to bring your own wood and make sure that your propane doesn't need to be filled. We'll come back for sure as it's beautiful here to hike, ride bikes and nice modern playgrounds for the kiddos. They can also fish and go to the creek.
