A Wonderful Experience here and i would totally recommend!! Just a cute little house tucked in to Huntington where it’s like getting your hair done at home. Barbara was so amazing she really took the time with me and listened to exactly what i was looking for. No hard sells just a friendly professional experience. I will definitely be back.

I had the most extraordinary experience with Andrea today. I decided to cut off 61 years of hair that was very very long. She did a buzz cut so that was just my gray is showing. She was kind she was fun and we had an incredible time together. Today was truly one of the highlights of my life, and I was delighted to have it occur in your salon.

Fatih is the absolute best hair stylist. I came to Long Island after moving and the first place I had to go was to get my hair done. Carlos is also outstanding. He was my colorist and I miss them both. Can’t find anyone even close to them in my new town and city. Jen gives the best shampoo and head massage ever. Always a great experience and I will fly up if I have to again !!

Andrea is absolutely amazing! I have autism and sensory issues especially surrounding hair and she was so aware and accommodating! Definitely a safe space! She walked me through each step telling me what she was doing as she was doing it, and even was able to figure out a perfect hairstyle for me (we went with shaved sides and back, and a short Bob that can still be put up in a bun for my food service job, or on days where I feel more masc or sensory issues) I have no clue how she was able to perfectly interpret my vague description of what I wanted into exactly what I had imagined in my head!
She’s seriously amazing! She also helped me put it into a braid to dry because I don’t like the sound of hair dryers. Honestly cannot recommend her more! 100/10 recommended. 💜 (I can’t figure out how to post a picture but it’s so perfect!)

Kristine is a top notch colorist professional!! She completely transformed my dry, dull, over-processed and curly hair into a glamorous color that completely exceeded my expectations! She went above and beyond to deliver the best hair color I’ve ever had!!

Igor is a top notch stylist professional!! His precision and expertise in cutting my hair was unparalleled! His technique and styling tips for creating volume and bouncy waves in my hair was truly impeccable!!

This was my first visit to Papillon & I had a great experience. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and made me feel very comfortable. Jen shampooed my hair which was a treat in itself. Fatih cut & styled my hair (which was badly in need of styling) and I am so pleased with it! So much better! I called to schedule my next appointment as soon as I got home & spoke to the same lovely, patient & friendly receptionist/coordinator/person who makes it all happen who made my appointment for me today and was helpful and patient in every interaction. I left there today feeling so much better. Yes, I would definitely recommend this salon.

First time I tried this place for a haircut. I’m definitely going back. Fatih gave me one of the best haircuts. Everybody was very professional, pleasant very clean, welcoming atmosphere.

Kristine is amazing. I have never loved my hair color more. She was very professional and accommodating and really exceeded my expectations. The final result came out beautifully and I can’t wait to come back again. Igor gave me the best blowout of all time and I wish I could pay him to live at my house and style my hair everyday. 10/10 recommend Papillon and Kristine and Igor’s services. The best!

The haircut that Edwin gave me today was the best I've had in my 43 years of life. He truly understands how to work with curly hair. This is the first cut in a long time that I'll be maintaining. I usually get a haircut every year or so because I'm always waiting for everything to grow out. That is DEFINITELY not the case with Edwin!!

OK, I just had my second cut with Edwin.... he is amazing! He managed to turn every single strand into a well defined curl (My hair is naturally curly and he knew better what to do with my hair than anyone including myself!) I highly recommend Edwin for everyone with curly hair!

Kristine is wonderful. Her expertise in color is precise. I always feel 100% better after my blonde highlights have been refreshed.

Andrea was amazing!! She is the sweetest and knows all types of hair. I’ve always had a hard time finding someone that is able to understand my fine, wavy/straight hair, and she didn’t pull my hair! You will absolutely enjoy her hairstyling and shampoo suggestions.

That was an awesome experience! I’m so glad Andrea was able to take me as a walk in-she was quick, professional and so personable! And my hair came out great, too! I’ll definitely spread the word to my family & friends & be back again.

Andrea did a fantastic job! She is so knowledgeable and really steered me in the right direction about what I wanted, her suggestions and the best way to achieve my look. She went above and beyond with her attention to detail. Never once did I feel like she was rushing my process along and wound up keeping me an hour after close! I am so happy with the results and getting to know her over the course of 4.5 hours 😝. I will be absolutely coming to see her again. I need a keratin! Andrea is amazing! She took in what I want to achieve with my hair and injects wonderful suggestions and my hair color and cut turns out great! She also did an amazing blowout for me and now I only wish I can recreate what she did at home myself…lol! Highly recommend!
