Suite Pieces

I was referred to Suite Pieces as I was tired of paint and wanted to dabble into the world of wallpaper. I worked with Deann, who spent hours with me going through wallpaper books to select the “right” Pattern/color paper and complimentary trim paint colors. Her patience, attention to detail, and Exquisite taste led to 4 rooms that were beautifully transitioned with wallpaper. She is not only talented but a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her.

Suite Pieces is the hidden gem right in our neighborhood for all of our design, home decorating and gift giving advice. My husband David and I are both in the business field so decorating the house was not our forte but we needed help. Enter Amanda and her amazing staff who designed our home offices, kitchen, dining room and living room. Amanda's vision made everything perfect incorporating furniture, paint colors, wallpaper, window treatments and accent pieces as well as revitalizing some family heirlooms which were very important to us. Thanks to Suite Pieces our home is a perfect reflection of us and we are so proud to show it off.

My most recent experience with Suite Pieces was to repair a broken shade; Deann facilitated a manufacturer repair and sent me a mailing label. She was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, not to mention patient. She even went the extra mile by following up with both Hunter Douglas and with me after the repair was completed.

My husband has been to the store to shop, which he said is pretty suite (haha). He found the nicest gifts for our friends and some lovely decor pieces for our own home. There is also a vintage shop downstairs. I am looking forward to visiting in person to shop soon, and will only ever use them the next time I need shades, wallpaper or interior design.

Aside from it being an absolutely beautiful place to shop, I’m an interior designer that frequently uses Suite Pieces as a resource for many of my projects. Whether it’s custom’s upholstery or wall coverings or gathering pieces to style a home, Deann is there to assist me with everything. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, has exquisite taste! I can’t say enough all around!

If you’re thinking about using anyone BUT Amanda and the Suite Pieces team to decorate your house, refresh a room, or add a bit of magic- you are going to miss out.

When my husband and I purchased our home, we called Amanda immediately for help. She made the process easy and FUN (not a word I ever thought we would use for all things design) going above and beyond to make our house a home.

Amanda takes the time to understand what her clients are looking for but more importantly - who her clients are. Through Pinterest boards, meetings, etc. Amanda was able to narrow down what style/colors we were looking for and execute seamlessly providing lots of very personal touches along the way.

We loved every moment of our time with the entire Suite Pieces Team- shout outs to Julie and John - and strongly recommend them for any project you may have.

Also- if you haven’t been into the shop to see what they are working on - you are missing out!

I recently had a wonderful experience working with Sherry Vaders at Suite Pieces. From the selection of wallpaper for our bathroom, fabric for cornices for our bedroom and a Roman shade for the bathroom, Sherry was incredibly helpful, kind, and professional. She was also able to recommend and coordinate the various craftsmen who were terrific as well and kept us apprised of progress throughout the process. I would highly recommend her and would look forward to working with her again!!

I have been to Suite Pieces multiple times and done a few DIY projects with Jolie paint. Amanda's tutorials on YouTube have been so helpful and the store itself has so many beautiful things inside !

Everyone that works in this amazing place is awesome. They are very knowledgeable, and the paint is the best. You can’t imagine how much $$$ you can save by redoing furniture.

Just had two dining room chairs reupholstered. They came out fantastic. Dealt with Sherry and she was wonderful as well as any other staff I met. There’s a great selection of fabrics and the workmanship is just perfect. Will be using again. Terrific shop

I recently worked with Sherry who helped me select wallpaper for my 2 bathrooms. It didn't take long for her to zero in on my taste and point me to samples I'd like. I selected wallpaper for both bathrooms quickly and Sherry made note of both making my second visit quick and easy to order. It didn't take long for all wallpaper rolls to arrive. I love them!!

On a second note, the store had various merchandise, both new and vintage, for sale that I purchased a lot for my home and log cabin upstate!! I love Suite Pieces and highly recommend Sherry and staff.....they all couldn't be more helpful!!

These guys helped us with wallpaper and drapes/fabric for our new homes. Sherry was amazing, she spent so much time with me going thru options and made hugely helpful suggestions as the decisions can be a bit overwhelming. They have beautiful fabric! And the shop does amazing work. I’d recommend them to anyone as they are totally full service.

Lovely. Wonderful stock of art. Great vibe . You won’t be hawked or followed here. They let you know there here for you then you go on a journey to find your treasure.

The women at Suite Pieces were incredibly helpful! They walked the entire store with me, lent me a measuring tape and ultimately gave advice for refinishing. If you want something unique, definitely visit! I ended up with a beautiful, one of a kind , high-quality chest for the same price I could have gotten a composite boring piece online.

Suite Pieces is absolutely fabulous. Not only do they carry Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, but they will help ensure you a successful DIY project. It's a one-stop-shop for your DIY projects. From paint, to hardware, to instructions.

I had an old piece that came with my house when I moved in. It didn't fit my style or the decor. After showing Amanda pictures on my phone of the piece and the room it was in, she helped set me up with the paint, wax, and brushes, and gave me a little in store tutorial so I could paint my piece with confidence. I was still super nervous when doing it on my own at home, but thanks to my in-store prep and questions, I successfully transformed my piece to something I love that truly reflects my style.

Even if you don't have an old piece to DIY, you can still purchase gorgeous pieces redone by the team there. The shop also has antiques, decor items, and even has regular events to DIY your own items like seasonal wreaths and other home decor.

If you're really looking for interesting things, go when you have some time to spend because there's a ton of stuff and 3 floors. It's not just a furniture store and I felt like a lot of the items on the main floor were reasonably priced. Upstairs is more fine art stuff and there's also a guy who makes all his art shaped like cats. Bottom floor is more furniture plus some odd antique store stuff.

The employees were really nice, too. When I went there were a lot of Christmas stuff so that was all cute.

Classes are wonderful. Three of us completed a small piece each in just one class. Amanda provided all the supplies and guidance for our individual tastes. We left with finished pieces from beach to bling! .... and a lot of fun!

Suite Pieces took over the HunterDouglas window treatment business from Aboff's where we bought our Duette top-down/bottom-up cellular shades in 2007. In 2020 one of the shades needed to be returned to H-D by Aboff's to be restrung due to wear and tear over 13 years which I paid for, including shipping. Now, only a year and a half later, one of the strings has frayed preventing the top right section from locking in place causing it to sag. Obviously, the repair was not done well. I contacted Aboff's and was told to take it to Suite Pieces. Matt at Suite Pieces photo'd the frayed cord and the repair label, contacted H-D, and persuaded them to pay for the repair at their authorized blind/shade repair facility, Instant Verticals, in Farmingdale. I really appreciated Suite Pieces' going to bat for me in convincing H-D to pay the cost of repair and it's good to know that H-D stands by its products.

From Antiques to re-purposed treasures. Great Variety and a Fun place to take Chalk painting classes. Many vendors. Amanda and John are super accommodating. Your'e sure to find a gift or an accessory from the past for everyone. Reasonable prices and eclectic selections. See Chapter 2's room. You may just want to move in. Many Events, Classes and Artists studios are upstairs.The best Huntington has to offer.
