Veterans Park

I went for a walk along the walking path with a friend. It was decently sized and encompasses the whole perimeter of the park. The trail is mostly fenced in, areas that lead into heavily wooded areas or steep hill areas have a safety fence. There's plenty of parking, a playground and bathroom facilities.

This is a very neat park that is tucked away in Anderson Township. If you have not checked it out, it is worth a visit!

Just a generally lovely park. Friendly people, nice walking trail, good playground if you’ve got kids. There’s also a neat little creek that you can walk along if you go off the trail at some points

Anderson has the best parks. We loved all the new play and nature centers and the all inclusive playground and nature trail.

We have used this park for multiple cub scout events, and birthday parties. The large shelter is rentable and is right next to the park. The large field is awesome for getting people together and playing games. If you get a permit you can also launch rockets here!

A very nice park. A nice trail, basketball court, baseball field, soccer goals and decent bathrooms. Covered picnic area and small playground for the little ones. Very clean and plenty of recycle trash cans along with regular trash bins. Very happy to be down the street from a nice family and pet friendly park.

A nice little park. Walking trail is not paved, made from fine gravel and is well groomed. Doesn't seem to ever be overcrowded like some of the other nearby parks like Beech Acres or Julifs. Restrooms are open.

This is my local park and it's great, a simple field with a basketball court, baseball diamond, and a children's play area all encircled by a .4 mile track with various exercise points dispersed around it. There's a nice shade structure with picnic tables to sit and cool off at and bathrooms that are kept clean. A simple little park and a nice place to spend an afternoon.

I am so happy that I am just a 30 second drive away from a goof morning run.

Great park and well kept. Empty the whole time we were there, minus a handful of elderly walkers on the trail. The playground doesn't have a lot of little little kid stuff, but enough to fill up an hour or so of time.

Nice park, good playset for the kids. Always pretty quiet and empty compared to the more popular parks. The loop trail is only .4 miles, but it's still nice. Would definitely recommend.

I absolutely love this park there is a trail around it that is a quarter-mile there is exercise equipment around the trail there is also a baseball field a basketball court picnic tables and a play area. there is a fire pit as well but you need to get a permit from Anderson township to use that.

The playground is tucked away out of sight from the parking lot so kids can't run out to the parking lot easily. The grounds are always well kept and it's never busy.

Great park for kids and walking your pets. Also, for some quick exercises.

Great park, .4 mile jogging track with hills in sections. Also has workout posts along jogging track. Great place to bring your kids, dogs, or sneak in some cardio.
