RECOVRY PT

I have been going to various PT offices on and off for many years. Recovery PT was recommended to me by a friend. They are very unique . Your therapist stays with you and works only on you for the entire session! No gym machines ... just you and them and maybe some devices to help. They also have a machine I had not seen before that targets scar tissue . All the people there are great including the office staff but I mainly booked my sessions with Diana. She is wonderful, thoughtful & smart & has helped me tremendously !

I was one of the first patients at the Garden City location and I have nothing but positive things to say about RECOVRY PT.

They have been so accommodating from the very beginning and truly care about their clients. The staff is well experienced and friendly and the office space is well-updated and clean all the time.

I had several issues with pain/injury in different areas over the year I have been going to PT and had such successful results from the RECOVRY physical therapists every time.

I will continue to utilize RECOVRY and all their benefits they have to offer!

I have been a patient at Recovery PT since July 2022 and I am never leaving. I usually work with James who has helped me tremendously with everything from recovering from ankle surgery to herniated discs in my neck to sciatica and lumbar pain, but every person I have had the pleasure to work with in that office is outstanding. I go religiously to work on my chronic issues and I always leaving feeling exponentially better than when I arrived. They use an app to assign exercises for me to do at home in between treatments and it’s great because it provides videos and detailed instructions which is so helpful! I highly recommend James and the rest of the team at Recovery PT; they will change your life.

I had issues with swollen hands after recent breast and arm surgery. Recovery PT has therapists that have training in lymphatic massages. After watch session I could see the difference. I was educated on how to manage this at home and with great success. The swelling is subsiding and once all the connective stuff heals internally I will be good to go. Thank you to Kevin and his team on helping me get to where I am ( and reminding me this is part of the healing process).

I've been to several PT establishments and was dissolutioned at the prospect of going again until a Recovery Fitness commercial! It seemed different and is it ever! My therapist Rich is amazing. He is helping me immensely!

Had great one on one assistance at Recovry PT. They take a different, more personable, approach than your average PT clinic. The physical therapist is with you 100% of the time, ensuring you are in the correct form for the exercises, and assigns you exercises to do at home as well. The staff is really nice, the office is clean/modern, and overall the experience is outstanding! Highly recommend.

Love Recovry. Have recommended it to at least 6 other people and 2 doctors. Went in with bone on bone in my knees. Last ditch effort before gel shots. AND did NOT need the shots. My knees are great. Worked with several people there Alex, Dana and Rachel. . All great.

I've been coming here for a year and a half and I cannot say enough great things about Recovry. Every PT I've ever had has been knowledgeable and caring towards my needs and concerns. The office staff is extremely pleasant to deal with. The physical therapists work one to one with you and it's not just your cookie cutter PT place. I have so many more words than this, but in short, this practice truly helped me get my life back. I had a bad experience with PT in college, but I saw an ad for an intro offer in 2021 and liked their approach, so I went in for a session with Diana, trying to address an old injury that had kept me from being active for over 10 years. My plans changed and I didn’t continue despite wanting to, but needed physical therapy again a year later due to a knee injury, and called Recovry again. I was nervous to start with James as Diana was unavailable and I have some trust issues due to a long history of medical gaslighting, but was so relieved after my first visit. Long story short, I’ve been going there consistently since 2022 and have seen almost every PT there-they are all amazing, personable, caring, and knowledgeable. Since going, I’ve had less pain from work and run two half marathons. They even noticed details that were related to and aided in finding medical conditions that I’m being tested and treated for currently. All of the receptionists are also very welcoming, friendly and ready to assist with scheduling and any other questions. This place is simply the best; I will never go anywhere else.

I love recovery PT! If it’s a session to help prevent an injury or to help treat an injury I leave feeling good every time! Can’t recommend them enough ! I love how Dr. Diana switches up what she does for me depending on how/what I’m feeling that day ! Love everyone here at the Huntington location! The absolute best

Kevin and his staff have saved my life and helped me become pain free. The one on one treatments I received are by far the best in the industry. I have recommended all my friends and family who needed physical therapy and they all agree. Recovery is number 1 in their field.

The physical therapist I worked with (John I believe) was professional, empathetic, skilled and a pleasure to work with. The Huntington facility was spotless and the staff were great. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Can’t say enough good things about this place and the people who work here (Rachel & Diana) -after surgeon said I would never have mobility past shoulder height and bad typical rehab where they spend about 10 mins hands on, here at Recovry they spend the whole hour and practice Eastern and Western treatments-in a short of time, I had and still have full range of motion! The environment is so positive and light-hearted-would highly recommend to everyone!

Kevin and his staff at Recovry PT are all awesome people. I’ve been a patient at the Garden City location for some time now. Dr Jay has helped me immensely. I struggled with pain for so long prior to coming here. I am much much better than I was, prior to beginning PT. This was the best decision I made for my health! Thank you Kevin, and Dr Jay!!

This is a place where the therapists actually spend exactly an hour. Staff are caring professionals and place is exceptionally clean. I feel much better as well. I highly recommend this facility. Go for it. You will not regret it.
I had gone to other facilities but they only leave you on their machines after touching you for 10 to 15 minutes. This is a bad practice.

I walked in with a strained ham string and I had a lot of pain. My range of motion was minimal and I felt off balance. After a series of treatments and exercises over a six week period I was able to resume dancing with my performance group without pain. I was given exercises to continue with after PT was complete. I am 100% back to normal. Thank you James and Recovry PT!

I have been going to Recovry since early 2020. I was referred by a friend to go see Kevin for an injury. The attention to their clients is not like any other physical therapy places I have been to. They spend the full session with you and work to get you feeling better. I now see James for maintenance and he also works with me on nagging old injuries. I am very active and lift weights so he focuses on a mix of manual therapy and strengthening work, typically ending my session with cupping. Highly recommend Recovry and the whole staff.

Recovry PT is simply the best physical therapy establishment that I ever worked with. Kevin, the owner, is incredible. All of his staff are great, from the office to all of the physical therapists. I cannot say enough good things about Recovry PT

How refreshing to go for PT when they actually listen to the patient and design the workout for their individual needs. I loved my sessions after my shoulder surgery and Kevin’s deep tissue massages really helped break up the scar tissue . I recommend them whenever I can!!

I first went to Recovry PT while recovering form a shoulder injury- and after making the decision (against the advice of my orthopedist) to avoid surgery. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to regain full function in my shoulder - however after just a few months of regular visits I was almost back to 100% function.

The staff at Recovry are top notch in every aspect - knowledge, approach, communication and experience. Many techniques I had access to at Recovry I hadn't seen before - an excellent combination hands-on rehab as well as the latest technology. The location is clean, parking is easy, and every PT I've worked with has been amazing. I wouln't, and won't go anywhere else!
