Miss Monticello Diner

A real diamond in the rough. We were staying at the Kartrite and didn't feel welcome so we ventured out to find this gem. We found plenty of off street parking. We were greeted by a cheerful waitress. Our food was genuine and homemade. The special board is daunting (20 choices) and the menu is busier yet!!! My wife had the chicken tortellini alfredo which was rich with milkfat. I had their philly cheese steak which was in house shaved steak on a fantastic fresh crusty roll. We also had a kids meal which consisted of spaghetti, a homemade sauce and a 6 oz hand packed meatball. Our portions were overly generous and we met another family who also left the resort looking for an alternative.

Quaint little diner with positive, upbeat atmosphere. The food/fare is standard diner food but I thought it tasted better than most diner food that I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for delicious diner style food, I recommend Monticello diner!

Went here for breakfast while on vacation , the food was so good! The waitress was so nice, I would deff stop on in for some food if you are nearby.

Excellent Dinner! The food was so delicious! OMG the pancakes are amazing, big, fluffy and flavorful. The plates are big and at good prices, and the service was excellent, friendly and welcoming. The potatoes seasoning it’s really good too.

I loved this place and I only came here because the first two diners that came up on my GPS were both "permanently closed". Lucky me! I had great service and my food was delicious. I am a bit of a creature of habit and if there is French Onion Soup on the menu .. I HAVE TO GET IT. It was delicious — and not just the cheese but the soup itself. I also had a bacon cheeseburger and cheese fries. Good lord, I was stuffed, but it was sooooo good. Check out my photos! So glad I ended up here.

Really good food and our waitress was super friendly. I had an mushroom & ham omelette, home fries, cheese grits, and a single stack! My only complaint would be that the home fries were a little bland. Definitely, a must try if you’re in the area!

Went here as a stop off just to eat. The food though was really good as was the service. Beware, if you order a lunch time special you also get a desert! Had the meatloaf and it was very nice, but I couldn't eat it all. Hope to be back. Thanks

Had an absolutely delightful experience here on Saturday night around 8pm. Our waitress was patient and nice, we were seated right away and the menu was vast and everything was delicious. This was the best restaurant experience I've had in quite some time.

If you are looking for an authentic diner experience with excellent food this is the place. I asked for fries w/ cheese sauce and my teen said it was the best ever. Thanks for the dad points. Really good experience!

Now, I have been a resident of Brooklyn for almost 35+ years, but I grew up in the area. Took a random day trip to Monticello with friends, and before returning home, we stopped at this beloved little diner. The food was delicious, the portions were large, and the service was full of hometown love. No place like home.

We were just passing through town and decided to stop for a quick bite. You could it's a place where the local eat but we felt right at home. Excellent Nachos. Can't wait to make a trip back.

A busy diner, my waitress was terrific. The food took about 15 minutes to come out. Not too many other diners nearby. Other people eating here seemed happy. My food was great, I had The Big Breakfast.

This was such find. A local diner with an amazing staff, wonderful food and baklava. Great food, great price , awe inspiring... if I am ever within 20 miles of Miss Monticello again.. I am there.. thank you guys for helping make my anniversary weekend one to remember

Miss Monticello diner is definitely a place to go. The food is delicious you get a huge portion and will definitely leave with leftovers

The burgers are very good, wraps are also very good, but I prefer a burger over the wrap any day 😁

Stopped here for a farewell breakfast after a family trip and man, are we happy we did! I swear I think everything was scratch made - the biscuits were flaky and amazing, the gravy was flavorful without being overly salted, the home fries were perfectly crispy, and geez, one of the fluffiest pancakes I've ever had! Every person at the table was happy with their choices and the service was attentive and friendly. The next time we're back in this neck of the woods, we'll make it a point to stop back in!
