I went to eat here last night. My friends and I ordered Sunday sauce, Sardinian cavatelli and veal saltimbocca. We all agreed the sunday sauce was the best. It was FRESH cut ribbon pasta…was like a thicker, heartier linguini cooked to perfection. The veal meatballs had a perfect classic meatball flavour. The fennel sausages were probably premio sausages but those are great so no complaints. My friend got the Sardinian cavatelli and it had divine hand rolled fresh pasta that was also on the thicker side and perfectly cooked. It was mixed with the same meatball I had and some peas and other fun things. The veal was very good as well and the prosciutto gave it a saltier more cured taste that was fun. Ambiance and wait staff were great !!

Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. The cod special and scallops appetizer were truly delightful. Another aspect that makes the restaurant stand out is its non-alcoholic selection, offering a variety of cocktails and beers to satisfy those looking for a non-alcoholic beverage.

Tuesday early evening, not crowded. I had the Sunday sauce, it was ok, shrimp risotto was fair for another diner. Went with people who go there often so maybe it was an off night? Might try again cause friends rave about it.

For starters we had sea scallops and mussels, both were fantastic. I had the chicken Florentine and my wife had the shrimp curry and we were both satisfied. Excellent bread dish also. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Loved the atmosphere. We sat outdoors in the back. The service was superb as was the food.

The gluten free Hay and Straw dish was amazing. It’s so nice to see a restaurant and chef care that the gluten free dishes are just as delicious as the regular ones. I can’t wait to go back and taste the gluten free ravioli that the chef recommended. The restaurant was cozy and I’m still thinking about my truffle cream sauce. So many gluten free options.

A place located in the heart of Huntington Village with FREE parking just for them. Service is great with their food which is perfect in every way. I definitely suggest getting your brunch or dinner on at this place and leave the pretentious places to themselves.

Food is pricey. Service is good. Food is gourmet. Overall an expensive happy experience.

We happened upon this place, and we were glad we did. There were four in our group and we were impressed with the decor, the food and service. The prices were very reasonable and we will be back!

Red has been a favorite of mine for over a decade but last night’s dinner was over the top. We ate out back on the beautiful patio where the pergolas are covered in live greenery. (We were lucky to get a seat out there, will make a reservation for outside next time). The service was impeccable, as always, but the food is the reason I’m posting this review. Absolutely superb from the first bite to the last. We started with the shrimp rolls (scrumptious!!!!), and the grilled octopus (the best I’ve had anywhere), followed with a perfectly dressed Caesar salad (light, not doused), and finished with the carbonara, which took us right back to Trastevere. I’ve never tasted Carbonara that good outside Rome. Sheer Perfection. A big thank you to Nino, Joel and staff who made the night so memorable, and to our adorable waiter, Charlie, good luck at Fordham law!

Had a fantastic dinner in the outdoor garden. We had the burrata with prosciutto and arugula, coconut curry mussels, cauliflower salad, rigatoni with eggplant zucchini and ricotta special and steak frites. To drink I had the French 75. Everything was perfect, and our waiter was very friendly.

Excellent food and great service! The food here is always consistent and fresh. I'm addition to the food they offer a fantastic wine selection offered by the glass and bottle. The owner has a couple other restaurants in the Huntington area that are all very successful.

During the summer months be sure to enjoy the outdoor courtyard. It is a hidden gem that no other restaurant in Huntington Village offers.

Red one of the best restaurants in a town filled with great spots. Their food is simply at another level. Locally-sourced ingredients, Italian inspiration, and New American dishes are served in a gorgeous, cozy yet upscale setting worthy of Manhattan. This is the perfect spot for a quiet romantic dinner or family celebration. The service is second to none. I highly recommend Red.

Gluten-free options are abundant at this restaurant. You can eat outdoors in a beautiful area behind the restaurant, wait staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Food is absolutely delicious, and they even have wonderful gluten-free bread before your meal as long as you let them know ahead of time. We love it here!

We went to appliance world across the street and asked for an recommendation for dinner. 2 different peoples first choice was Red. We were greeted by Nino, the owner. He was great. Funny and engaging.
We both had the price fix which is $31 for appetizer, dinner and dessert.
I started with calamari. It was fantastic. Fresh tomato, capers and cooked to perfection. My wife picked the cauliflower salad which was very nice. Entrees were paella and salmon. The paella was the best I have ever had. There was protein in every bite. Calamari, chicken, andouille sausage....WOW! The salmon was cooked to perfection. Crisp on be outside, buttery on the inside.
Desserts we're bread pudding and sorbet. They were both fantastic. Can't wait to go back.
