Parea, That Little Greek Place

Tried this place after seeing it on Instagram. The food did not disappoint. Had the grilled octopus for the first time and it was delicious and well prepared. The branzino was a hit too. The waiting staff was very friendly and welcoming and the overall atmosphere was great. I will definitely be visiting again to try to other items on the menu.

I walked in here with what I thought was a very slim chance of being fed before going next door to the Paramount, to see Tom Jones, whom they warned would take the stage 8pm Prompt!

Well my server Pam, said she would make it happen, and oh my gosh this food is so darn tasty, and was served up so quick, I couldn't believe it.
Grilled Octopus appetizer, Avgolemeno chicken/lemon soup, the Baked Lamb with Orzo, and some Lemon Potatoes! Everything tasted great, and came out perfect.
I made the show with barely any minutes to spare, but Tom Jones ended up coming on just a bit late anyway.

I have some Baked Lamb w Orzo leftover, and can't wait to have it again. Although I like trying new places, I think I'm going to come here for a repeat performance, next time I go to the Paramount!

P.S. I started to pick my lamb apart before my photo, so rest assured, it comes as a shank.

Stumbled upon this place when walking around the village.

Was greeted and sat right away. The staff were all so friendly and polite. The food was really good and so was the coffee! We went during lunchtime so it was nice and quiet. They didn't mind at all that we took out time drinking and talking.

Overall, it was a great experience. Will be back next time I want Greek food in the area.

Always fresh, fast great quality food here and the woman on the register with blonde hair ( I'm so sorry I forgot your name) was so kind and sweet. I wish I could come here everyday. what a great place!

Wonderful Greek spot in Huntington village. I ordered the Greek salad with gyro. The salad had the perfect amount of salad to feta ratio and the dressing was amazing 🤤 the gyro in top was so tender and was truly melt in your mouth delicious. As I was sitting there I realized this was a spot I went often with my family called “Mediterranean Snack Bar” . Im so happy they kept it a Greek spot!

The service was great. The atmosphere was so nice for lunch with a friend and felt like I was sitting in Greece with the white and blue decor. Will definitely be back again with friends.

Very cute little place we stopped in before going to the cinema arts center in Huntington. My wife ordered the stuffed peppers and I had a small Greek salad with a skewer of grilled chicken. The food was delicious, but the meat in the peppers was a little oily. We brought home one of the stuffed peppers because they were so huge! We followed it up with some coffee. I had a piece of baklava. It was okay except for being a little well done on the bottom.
The waitress and other staff were very good and the prices were reasonable.

I had my wife’s party catered out from here. First off the owner was extremely helpful and took extreme pride to make sure everything was perfect. Food was a hit with all the guests. He made sure to help me to the car with everything. It’s rare to find owners now a days that actually take pride and care about the customer. I highly recommend this place for a night out or having a party catered.

Really cute little spot! Delish octopus app and yummy gyros, my bf got the chicken souvlaki which was also yummy. I made my gyro loaded & the fries were really crisp and yummy too. Will definitely be back!

The place is clean, staff friendly and food is good. The traditional Greek soup was delicious and salad is excellent and comes with an enjoyable dressing. Grilled octopus was cooked perfectly and the saganaki with tomatoes was very good. The service was super quick too. Very happy with this new spot! Prices are reasonable and will be back to try other items.

The gyro was even better than I remember!! Also the Greek pizza is excellent! Good service also!

Parea is the best in town. If you’re looking for fresh quality greek food this is your place. Not to mention the phenomenal staff. thank you Niko and everyone at parea for always making lunchtime better for us !!!

Worthy successor to the village favorite Mediterranean Snack Bar, which occupied this space forever with a similar menu.

The food is even better, if a bit pricier.

Portions are generous. You can eat mezze style, slowly enjoying every bite, or add an entree if still hungry.

We ordered pasticio and it was as perfect as it gets.

The bechamel was not too much. The meat was seasoned perfect and not dry but NOT oily.

None of the dishes ordered were overly fatty and not oily.

My go to for healthy takeout, I absolutely love going to Parea. Everything always tastes so fresh and delicious. My go to is the Greek salad with falafel, but everything I’ve ever had here was great, especially the lamb gyro. The grape leaves are amazing, and this is my favorite hummus of any place, I could eat it every day. The staff is always so kind and friendly, this place is always busy! Thank you for always hitting the mark!

Stopped in for lunch and had the greek salad with gyro meat. The gyro meat may have been some of the best I've ever had, definitely ranks up there. The portion was also large and delicious.
