Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

I love everything about Highway 55 in Ahoskie but the atmosphere on the other hand not so much the entire summer 2023 they have had this bad stench coming from their septic tanks did they seem to be refusing to fix and when my family and myself have been in there it has gotten so bad that you gag while you try to eat so we have quit going for the time being and would love to know when the stench is fixed

Hi, I want people to know if you want a good meal; visit HWY 55. The food is hot when you receive it and the servers are very polite and friendly with a smile. The chicken subs are awesome.I’ve been there before but the food is so much better now.

Fast and good service. Delicious burgers, always taste fresh. We will continue to return. I love the fried pickles.

First time eating here and the food was very good 👍. A wide variety of menu selections from burgers, chicken, shrimp and salads. Great friendly customer service 👏😊.

Update- The prices went up. The servers are always nice and attentive. The food is fast and very good. While there you must get a frozen custard! As good as it always is.

This the place to be. I had just got off work and heading home, hungry, tired from a rough work day. It was closing time and the manager unlocked the door to let me in. They were in the process of cleaning up, but yet they stopped and prepared my order. I was so amazed at what they did for me that I tipped the cook and my server. The food was Outstandingly Awesome stayed warm for the 26 miles home.

My grandmother and I visited during this past summer. And it was absolutely wonderful! The staff was friendly and polite and the service was excellent! We will definitely be stopping by again when we are in the area!😁👍

The food was freshly prepared and quite tasty.
A bit pricy for families, 2 steak sandwich platters and one burger platter with 3 milk shakes $37. + change, that's $12. per person for burgers and fries.
I reiterate the food was tasty.
I'll go back again "ALONE" to fill my card for discounts.

There food was fresh and prices are ideal for a family of 6. The burgers where the best I've had In a while, they did not taste like them frozen nasty Patties. The staff where quick getting the food to us and friendly. Their credit
Card machine was down so I did have to leave to pay with cash, I had asked if I could get a discount to go out of my way to pay my bill and they worked with me.

Stopped in here last weekend....

The milkshake was the most creamiest I have ever had.The onion rings were just the right amount of crispyness..
The service was FAST and waitress was very PLEASANT..our new out of state restaurant.....

We come here occasionally for something different, I've enjoyed the chicken and cheese for years. Now I discovered the hamburgers and I'm in love all over. It tastes fresh everytime I buy it. The wait is not long for good food and I have waited longer for much worse. I try to support different businesses here in Ahoskie,NC. Hwy 55 is one of my top places to eat.

Can't go wrong with HWY 55. Good food, decently quick. Staff is very friendly and keep up with everything even during really busy times.

Very good food!! My favorite place to eat in Ahoskie, the service is as good as the food... I absolutely love their shrimp plates! Another one of my favorites is their grilled pimento cheese sandwich with cheese fries! I do truly wish they would open a Hwy 55 in Windsor, NC..... I love the feel of the whole restaurant, the 50,s theme, from the decore to the music!! I would recommend it to anyone, even our President Trump 😀
