NWO Orthopedic Surgery Center

I had carpal tunnel surgery in the new NWO surgery center, and my experience was exceptional. It was a very quick check-in, and the nurses and staff were very helpful & informative. All of my questions were addressed, and my procedure went very smoothly. I received multiple followup calls, both from the center & my doctor to check on me and answer any questions. I would definitely recommend the NWO Center to anyone needing procedures!

This place opens early in the morning.
Also, the staff here are very friendly.

On January 2oth, 2022 I was at the NWO Surgery Center for surgery on my right hand. This was the first time I had been in the new NWO Surgery Center. Dr. Brian Hecht was the attending surgeon. I was sedated and about half awake during the 49 minute procedure. Dr. Hecht did a great job as usual. Before, during and after three nurses attending to me and were exceptionally patient and very caring for me. They were Taylor, Jessica and Jayme. I want to pass along my thank you to all and say that if I should ever need their services again I will not hesitate to go to the
NWO Surgery Center.

Everyone was very friendly & helpful. They really made your brief stay very relaxing & made you feel at ease before surgery. Dr. Nye did a great job on my surgery . I am very pleased to have chosen NWO. Thank you.

Dr. Bruce Heck did a fabulous job on my left thumb knuckle. He removed what he called a "significant" size bone chip which was caught under the nerve running down my thumb. While he was in there he took care of a couple if bone spurs and cleaned up my arthritis. Overall the pain was minimal for the surgery. Wish I could say the same for the steroid shot into my hand. If you have ever had one you know what I mean. Thank goodness a couple of days later my hand is feeling much better. Swelling was minimal for my thumb as well.
Although, I don't look forward to the future surgery I will have to use a tendon from my forearm to create a new cushion for my thumb joint, I know I will be in the best hands!!!

They seem to be genuinely interested in your well being. I've dealt with at least 3 Drs here and I highly recommend NWO to anyone who needs their services.

Staff was wonderful. Fun, intelligent, outgoing — even at 8:00 AM. Doctor did an excellent job — barely felt the injections. Everything explained well.

Dr. Bruce Hecker did a fabulous job on my left thumb knuckle. I was awake as he removed a significant bone chip, 2 bone spurs & the arthritis from the knuckle joint. Only complaint is those steroid shots (always painful) into the hand & thumb joint really flared up when the anesthetic wore off. I know steroid shots are painful so it was expected to be sore. It was just much sorer than the thumb knuckle & incision... Overall, they really took care of me and I will be back later for the thumb joint to be done. Thanks for the relief you have given me on the knuckle!!! Two thumbs up!!!

I’ve been working with Dr. Bret Bahn in the pain management area. I have an issue with my spine going back to an accident that happened over 40 years ago. My back was broken in three places in the lower lumbar area. This has never bothered me until 2 years. I was directed to NWO Orthopedic by friends who were very satisfied with the treatment they received from this group. I’m glad I followed their advise as I’m happy with the treatments I have received thus far.

Great, very professional experience. The discharge after surgery felt a little rushed, but everyone was very nice and helpful and they do great work, so overall, very happy to be in and out and done.

Very good people. I was nervous and they assured me everything would be fine. It was I would recommend them. I had lower facet injections. Dr. Schweitzer was the one in charge.

I had total hip replacement 2 years ago on my left with Dr. Brian Hecht. Things went so well there was no question who would replace my right hip. It has been less than a week since surgery, and I am able to walk without the walker or crutches. The pain before the surgery was worst than any if the pain afterwards. Dr. Brian will keep your lifestyle in your life. Don’t delay, you will have regrets after surgery for the time you stayed in pain.

The staff was awesome! Very friendly and caring and they always make sure you are doing well. I will always go to NWO for my my health care needs.

Everyone there is so nice and answer any questions you may have. Everyone, whether it's the Dr, the nurses, and the receptionist are all wonderful. I am so happy I switch to them!

Dr Bahn did an awesome job at my epidural injections, very nice team. Defiantly recommend this team!
