One Love Jamaican Restaurant

The food looked, smelled, and tasted delicious! We got the oxtail (spicy and savory), curried goat (extremely flavorful and moist, and the spice level increased as the meat was cherished), and jerk chicken thigh and leg (it was simple and flavorful - moist in the meat with crispy blackened skin). The service was kind, warming, and welcoming both on the phone call and in person! I can't wait to go back and try something new. The red snapper fish fish looks tempting, but I can't wait to try the jerk salmon!

This was by far the absolute best Jamaican food I have ever had! I got the curry goat/jerk chicken combo. The meats were perfectly spice and tender! Also the beans and rice and the cabbage were awesome. Definitely on my favorites list!

Had the pleasure of meeting the owner, very kind person. Very good customer service and the food was great. The food tasted authentic with great atmosphere.

My first time trying this restaurant and I was so impressed and satisfied the delivery lady delivered my food with a big smile the rice was super fluffy and the quantity was perfect definitely worth the money

Stubbled across this restaurant today seen the signs out front and stopped . The man that greeted us was really nice and helpful. The food was so so good omg the best Jamaican food in the city of Toledo hands down. We also tried the chicken wings and plantains . I’ve tried every Jamaican restaurant in Toledo and this is the only one I loved

It was my first time trying their food. I didn't even know the restaurant had been there for three years. I got the jerk chicken and curry chicken platter. It was good. The spice and seasoning were on point, and I'll be back there to try the Red Snapper.

Just wanted to come here to say one love has great service, very warm and inviting, not to mention the food was beyond delicious. I will definitely be coming back soon. The oxtail was finger licking good. Stop by and show them some love ✌🏼❤

Me and my fiancé stopped in for lunch today on our way back to Michigan. We ordered the oxtail and jerk chicken combo with rice and beans and fried cabbage and truly chefs kiss! The wonderful lady that took our order was pleasant to talk to! Will be going back soon!

The food here is incredible, and Marley made us feel like we were guests in her own home. One of the best restaurants in Toledo!

Food was absolutely amazing and the owner was awesome!!! He talked with us about the menu and made the whole experience phenomenal. I had the goat and oxtail combo and could not have been happier. Clean, good customer service, ordered jerk salmon with veggies which was delicious. The spicy beef patties was soo good, they had a crunch and good seasoning. Will be going back again!

We ordered the curry chicken/jerk chicken combo with rice and peas and the cabbage. We also got a side of plantains and one of the beef patties! Everything was soooo good! You couldn't even pick up the chicken because the bones just fell right out of it. Delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more stuff!

I had jerk chicken in St. Thomas in the caribbean once. I don't remember it being this good! Also, my wife and I split the combo, and still had some of the delicious red beans and rice left over.

Very friendly service and excellent food. I've tried both the oxtails and the curry goat and both were very good. Small and medium meals are served with 1 side and large and x-large get 2 sides. I always get the white rice and stir-fry as sides and they are both prepared very well.

I've know the owner for 30 years. I've always enjoyed his family's traditional Jamaican cooking. I really love the goat curry but honestly everything is absolutely delicious.
The Fride Plantains are a wonderful sweet treat.

I have personally tried everything on the menu ! As a Jamaican I can tell you it’s authentic and very delicious ! The atmosphere is very welcoming and the food is comfort for the soul . My personal favorite is the jerk chicken with rice and beans and stir fry vegetables! Except of course when they do breakfast then I have to order the ackee and salt fish with fry dumplings. Reminds me of being at home in Jamaica so good! My children love the mac and cheese and fry chicken . So many favorites I keep coming back . Big up one love excited that your open and providing delicious meals to the neighborhood !!!!!

Had the oxtail dinner with red beans and rice yesterday, very delicious. Had the escovitch fish dinner with cabbage today and I almost lost my mind it was so flavorful and delicious. I'm fairly new to Jamaican cuisine and I'm very satisfied with what it has to offer and I plan to try every dish possible.
