Andrew and the team at Harrigan Parkside made planning our final farewell worry free. The attention that was paid to details that expressed my mothers personality were amazing. They went above and beyond our expectations and made it possible for us to focus on our family and the grieving process. There are not enough words to express our thanks for all they did to make this a beautiful send off for our mother.

When a loved one passes, it is normally, a very emotional time. Recently I experienced this and had never had to personally handle all the details that come along with it. Andy was very helpful, to the point he significantly eased my anxiety of the overwhelming days to come. To add another dimension, I live in New Mexico so I really was concerned how I was going to handle all the details from several miles away. I would strongly recommend Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home to anyone wanting someone that is not only greatly empathetic, but goes above and beyond to show they care. Harrigan Parkside, especially directors Andy and Max, provided exceptional funeral services during the heartbreaking recent death of my husband Mike. Their compassion and attention to every detail was beyond measure and greatly appreciated. From the excellent care taken in preparation for my husband’s viewing, to kindness towards all the many family and friends at the service, to the wonderful luncheon including respectful service staff throughout, the professionalism never faltered. One feels deeply sad, fragile and vulnerable at times like these, but would never hesitate to call upon Harrigan Parkside to provide their expertise following the death of a loved one.

We came to Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory to place our pre-planning of our lives in Andy's care. Andy & his staff did a remarkable job to make it as easy as possible to do this project.
My daughter recently passed. At a large hospital over an hour away. Andy & Matt brought my daughter home, safely, the very same day she passed. The entire team at Harrigans have been wonderfu to me & my family. This gave us comfort. Andy Harrigan has angel wings that we can't see, but they are there. I find him & his Dad, Dennis, with their staff, highly recommended for care of your loved ones and yourself. God Bless them.

I simply can not recommend Harrigan Parkside highly enough. Planning a funeral or memorial can be a very stressful and emotional time. We worked with Max and Taylor who walked us thoroughly over all the details so we didn’t have a question. And yet somehow it was not overwhelming. More importantly they listened to what we were looking for to honor our mother and captured every small detail. They had great empathy for my entire family and we were treated with great respect as were all of our guests. They encouraged our laughs when they came as well as our tears. The vendors that they work with (flowers, catering, etc) worked seamlessly with Harrigan. We did not need to do anything, they did all the planning and set up. When we walked in the room set up for our celebration, it was perfect from guests being greeted to the placement of flowers and pictures. Staff was available the entire time for us prior to the celebration and through the entire service assisting with clean up. Quite simply, Harrigan made it possible for my family and I to focus on our family and friends and truly celebrate and honor my mother.

Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home did a wonderful job with my dad’s funeral. Andy made the planning process as seamless as possible and throughout the entire process we did not have to worry about anything. He had everything under control so we could just focus on my dad and attendees. It made a very difficult time much easier and much less stressful. I highly recommend!

It was a great pleasure to work with Andy and his father Dennis. Everything that we needed to do was planned very well with no problems. Both men made sure we were taken care of and if we needed anything to just give them a call. They took care of everything. I was very happy with all of the work we did with them.

If I could give 100 stars I would!! I honestly cannot say enough good things about this funeral home, and the amazing people that work here. My husband passed away unexpectedly last month, and the last thing that I wanted to do was plan his funeral. I thought that it was going to be stressful, and scary, and SO hard to do..but in reality, it was the complete opposite. The minute we walked through that door, we felt like family. We had Max as our funeral director, and I could not be more grateful for this man. He was so kind, so genuine, so humble, and so compassionate throughout this whole process. He went above and beyond, and exceeded ANY expectations that we had. Everything turned out BEAUTIFUL..and we left this place, feeling like we made a friend.

Harrigan’s staff was professional, compassionate, and with their guidance the funeral was beautiful and uneventful. The video our family put together of Mom’s life was especially meaningful. Mom would have been happy with our decision to use Harrigan Parkside.

On one of the hardest days of mine and my families life, every single one of the Harrigan Parkside crew made the day go so smoothly, and made us feel as comfortable and loved as possible. They were so compassionate, and made sure that anything and everything we needed, we had. I consider every single one of the members a part of my family and will hands down recommend them to anybody who needs a place to set their family/friends free, into the eternal hands of God. Also a shout out to a long time friend, Max Wagner, who went out of his way to send me my grandpa’s obituary and card, and kept in touch with me throughout my grieving process.

This was the first time that I have had to plan a funeral. Fortunately, my mother preplanned her funeral with Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, so that made it so much easier for me. Andrew was so kind, helpful, and understanding. He reviewed what my mother had already planned, and I provided some wishes that my mother had shared with me before she went to Heaven. Andrew also provided some options for me to consider, as well as what is customary, and what are best practices. He answered all of my questions. Max was awesome, and was so helpful, professional and personable, guiding us through the day of the funeral and taking care of so many details, so that I (and my family) didn't have to concern ourselves with.
