Wonderfully run and the food was amazing. My wife’s favorite pizza on earth. Two times ever to Racine but plan to continue to come back here to have lunch and some beer. Eventually will branch out to other items on the menu like lasagna as it looks good.

Soon as I walk through the door, my family was greeted with outstanding service. I never felt so comfortable they were so nice so kind and Polite.

This was our first time trying this place btw

They were super busy and still got seated less than 10 minutes. Our waiter was so nice.

The pizza was so delicious so thin the perfect pizza

I didn’t care for the wings but The atmosphere in Restaurant was worth more than the whole meal

I appreciate you guys. Keep doing what you do best!

Amazing great thin crust pizza. Reminds me of Barnaby's but not quite as crispy. The pizza was excellent. I had a double pepperoni Pizza . The only problem is keeping it warm all the way home into Illinois . I might have to get a thermal Pizza bag ! This place has been in business for over 100 years. Must be doing something right!

Wow, there is a reason this pizza is so well-known. I grew up in Racine and regret not eating more of this while I was around.

Crust: I am accustomed to Dayton's cracker crust pizza. This is absolutely next level. This is like a flaky croissant or layered biscuit meets pizza, whereas Dayton style is just a true cracker. The salt is just right

Cheese: Just the right amount to avoid grease. Tasty.

Sauce: Divine. Although I do prefer a more traditional tomato pie, like New Haven style, they have to make sure it doesn't weigh down on the crust too heavily. Just sweet enough. Some tang. *Chef's kiss*

PS - to the chef: I recommend roasting your garlic and putting less on if someone orders garlic

Must visit in Racine. How many restaurants have been around for 100 years? They have a menu focused on pizza and Italian food and they nail it every time. The pizzas are phenomenal, the pasta dishes never disappoint. Prices are super affordable.

Met one of the owner’s at a different establishment in Milwaukee on St patty’s day. When he told us he was one of the owners of this place and how good the food was we just had to check it out even though it’s a little bit of a drive for us. Have to say we weren’t disappointed by any means. Our cheesy & regular garlic bread was delicious and the cracker crust pizza amazing. Not sure when, but we’ll be back. Oh the service was just as excellent. Thanks for a great experience.

This week was at Wells Brothers Italian Restaurant. Known for their pizza and I'm here for the fish. It was very busy but everyone was super nice and polite. We got the cod both fried and broiled with American fries. Fish was great. Portion sizes were good sized. It also came with soup big enough for a meal on its own. The order of cheese curds was about triple what you normally get in a restaurant. Atmosphere and vibe in here is like a throw back in time. Watching over the parking and patrons was one of Racine County's finest making sure your visit is uneventful.

Super cool place with a century of history.

If you're in need of a Chicago style thin crust in Wisconsin, then look no further. This place can compete with any top Chicago pizza places. The atmosphere is old school Wisconsin bar and great drinks to enjoy while you wait for your delicious pizza. Definitely will be going back.

A fun local experience with excellent thin crust pizza and fun ambiance. The antipasto salad was delicious…ordered the olives on the side … but they were a great addition for those who like them. The staff was friendly. It reminded me of many NYC pizza places. There’s a sheriff at location to keep the patrons safe…we were told it’s best to go during daylight for you and your car’s safety. Be aware of your surroundings when there.

Went for the pizza, which I heard so much about, and it was delicious! Super thin crust with a nice char, the toppings were fresh tasting, and the sauce was fantastic! I also ordered some wings and garlic bread, and meatballs.

The marinara sauce was the best I had tasted. the wings were good. Meatballs were a little dense but decent. I'm definitely going back for the pizza because I love a good pizza!

This establishment really has history AND outstanding food. Please don't let its location fear you. A hard core memory of several establishments I frequent in Chicago, and we are extremely glad this establishment is still around.
The brushetta is extremely well prepared and is practically a meal in itself, but I was in a serious hunger mode for this place. Had the soup and brushetta with a medium sausage green pepper and tomatoes 'pie'. Real flavors.

What can I say, the BEST pizza, it's a one of a kind. Service is always great. I usually just order pizza, but tonight went with some friends. My friends ordered the fish and pasta dishes. Omg the portions were amazing for the price, they ate till they were stuffed, and still had a whole meal to take home. If you have never been to Wells Brothers, you must go.

I had an absolutely wonderful and perfect time! The atmosphere was very lovely and historic, the menu gave a history of the restaurant and it's owners. The service was flawless, and the food and drinks were delicious! I've decided to make this a regular family event, and highly recommend it to everyone! Not one bad thing to say, it was a sincere pleasure!

I grew up on Chicago Pizza. I've been making pizzas since I was 14 years old and I'm now 77 years old. If someone came from New York or California and wanted to sample the classic Chicago thin crust pizza, I would take them to Wells Brothers. It's that good.

While here in Racine, WI I had the good fortune to be directed to Wells Brothers Italian Restaurant. This is a Racine landmark. They’ve been at 2148 Mead Street in Racine since 1921.

What’s their secret? Delicious food, friendly service, and family ownership.

I had pizza. Amazing pizza. Pizza that I could not stop eating. That’s how good. Wells Brothers pizza has a light, airy, crispy crust. Best pizza crust I’ve ever eaten. The pizza sauce is a delight. Too many places either have too sweet or too bitter sauce-Wells Brothers gets it right.

Their pizza toppings are fresh, tasty, and plentiful. They pile it on in near perfect proportion.

The history of the place is fascinating. They’ve survived and thrived for a hundred years. Even a tragic fire did not slow them down. It was an opportunity to rebuild and keep moving on.

The service is top notch. The atmosphere is local, historic…classic.

Parking is a breeze. They have their own lot across the street.

If you are anywhere near Racine, WI, Wells Brothers Italian Restaurant is a must do. That’s right, a MUST DO.

Super thin, cornmeal crust pizza. I love the nostalgia of the bar, the dining room is tiny and quaint. We always start with an appetizer. Very fond of the fried green beans. I always send out of towners here for pizza. I can’t say enough about the friendly staff. Highly recommend!
